Disappointing Episode

This was one of the most anticipated episode of the show where Bhavani & co get to know for the first time that this daughter-in-law isn't like any other bahu of the Chavan family.

The episode seemed like it was played in fast forward motion. In both the other versions she counts slowly and the reactions of all the family members are captured comically. Here sai just spoke a couple of sentences and counted 5 to 1 and Bhavani just agreed immediately.

Also when she says she knows how much needs to be served it somewhat gave a serious vibe and not the light-hearted vibe that was there in the other 2 versions.

There will be umpteen instances in the future where Sai and Bhavani will have serious altercations but this could have been a bit lighter. I guess the hindi makers have decided to keep Bhavani and Ninad serious characters which makes it interesting to see how the reception fight will pan out. Because at the end of the fight when Bhavani storms off Sai is supposed to calm her down and pull her forcibly to take photos. Unlike the other 2 versions Bhavani is too serious and stern to be forced by Sai.

It wasn’t so bad in the dining table until Ashwini mentioned of the reception. I personally don’t care about what Bhavani and Company think nor their relationship with Sai so I usually don’t give the dramatic scenes any value.

The episode was good and it is nice that they are bringing little changes otherwise what's there to watch....

Sometimes some comical touch changes the tense atmosphere and it was well needed here.

Don't know about the other versions but i like this one.

Oh really they changed?? 🥳You know..i for one am really happy! I’m soo glad they didnt copy from the other versions..this is probably the first instance i heard that they didnt copy paste...

There needs to be something new...and this couple has alot of potential.....so i hope they shake things up...and make sure the actions of Virat and Sai...are kept in line with their personalities...otherwise Hindi shows have a habit of OTT drama!

May be because you have seen both the versions you felt like this but for someone who haven't seen any of them this episode will be new and the reactions of each character will be worth watching.

Since its a remake so comparison is bound to happen but we should keep in mind that every character has its own flavour different from any other versions. Like virat here is different from rono and vikram. Sai is also different from emon and saranya and so is bhawani and others. So they will behave and act as per their characters traits which they have shown till now. If they suddenly change their acting it would look awkward.

And lastly, its good that they are changing something other wise it would all look same. Since the beginning we are hoping that they would show it differently from other versions and give it their own touch.

I have watched almost both the shows tamil and Bengali. I found the Bengali one better in execution than the Tamil one but the Tamil one was more fun and quick. The Hindi version is an in between in terms of drama, characterisation and even the dialogues. It is actually the best of the three. Despite almost knowing the scenes that are coming up, I end up watching GHKKPM more than once. The credit goes to the team behind it and of course the actors -- each one of them.

I do wish that they change somethings but now, am more inclined to believe that they will make it a mix of both the Tamil and Bengali versions -- both shows had different tracks once the leads fall in love. So let's hope they surprise us with something different otherwise the story will be predictable.

The episode was very quick but it was well executed and conveyed most of the things. I did feel that adding a PP face each time after Virat's expression was a annoying because he wasn't looking at her in the later part of the episode but even the editor is forcing their glances. 😄

Like previously in one topic about virat i said that rono and vikram were two extremes and virat lies somewhere between them and same is with other characters also. And i liked this way only.

After the main leads fall in love both the versions have their different tracks so i hope this version will also have different tracks or have some or other tracks from both the versions. That another girl coming in virat's life, and fake pregnancy of pakhi was too much in bengali while another suicide attempt by sai in tamil version was over the top and unnecessary. So i hope they dont give us those crap track in hindi version

He is Rono with family (now especially PP) with a sulky face and Vikram with Sai as Gabbar to Badbad-Devi 🤣

May have been a little dry compared to the versions you may have watched, but feel like the general essence did come out well.

I loved the episode. I felt it was done perfectly. The other versions actually Bengali one was a drag fest and I found the Iman rude and her pitch while screeching almost blew out my ear drums. This is definitely better.
Sai is fantastic!! Ayesha and her tone, perfection. No yelling, screaming. Just a straight shooter who gets her point across.
