Proof?

I am confused about today's episode.

Karan finally had the brains to take Durga away from the household, without informing anyone, to have her tested. That was easy enough. They could have done that weeks ago.

Now he has the test results AND the doctor's testimony to back him up. Exactly what other proof does he and Lax need? Isn't that enough?

You have a point there. It is confusing and I've been thinking the same. Although Karan has the test results and the doctor's diagnosis, Bhavishya too can present the same..[yes, it'll be fake but do you think the Garodias will take the time to figure that out?]
If Karan brings the proofs he has to Garodias' attention, it'll be Karan vs. Bhavishya. Whose side will the Garodias take? Apparently, not one of them think about something very, very carefully and deeply.. they may hear one side of the story and that is it. Bhavishya could falsify to protect himself and say that whatever Karan is saying is wrong and that he might have bribed the doctor. Remember how Laxmi was all ready to burden all blames on him. She initially didn't trust him enough to give him a chance to explain. Garodias are likely to follow the same. If Bhavishya gets Durga to back him up who clearly can't feel her own health deteriorate, then it'll be easy for him to falsely prove Karan wrong. I believe Karan is right in that he should gather full proofs before revealing Bhavishya in front of all.

I don't know. If the Garodia family is idiotic enough to believe Bhav in spite of Laxmi, Karan, and Saraswati's accusations, and despite the test results, there is no hope for them. If they would actually believe Bhav over their own 2 daughters AND son-in-law, they are truly horrific people. They are dumb, but I don't think they're THAT dumb.

The first person that needs to know the truth is Durga so if Bhav finds her or somehow tries to get her to drink the juice again, she will know better. They should tell her immediately and show her the test results. The only real reason Bhav has been winning is because Durga has been defending him. Once she starts to doubt him, the rest of the family will follow suit. They have no reason to trust him if his own wife doesn't.

They need to find Ranbir and get him out. Whoever is holding him there is only doing so because Bhav is paying them off, so all Lax and Karan have to do is pay him more. Once Ranbir is out, they can go with the test results and compare Bhav/Ranbir's backs and that will be it. Easy, but I guess not dramatic enough.

Why are the Garodia's so dumb?

Actually Rainabow , I do think the Garodia family is that dumb . Look at them , they havent even wondered about the time of Durga's sickness ....that a hale and hearty girl started falling sick only immediately after her marraige to a pschyopath look alike son in law . Till that point she was just fine . But Hey presto , she gets married and she starts falling sick each day ! It is remarkable that no one .....no one notices this fact. A sharp old lady of the household like Baa , perhaps, or Menaka , who sometimes shows brains albeit in the wrong things , or SAv as a mom , some one ???? Nope ! They dont bother to get a second opinion from a doc , they only threaten God with food strikes and weep in groups like some special group therapy session . Even Karan ponders too late ....they shud have shown him having these silent doubts for a long time . Actually if u ask me my opinion , I feel the whole family needs to be bundled off in the van along with Saraswati and be committed in the asylum for not comprehending even normal details . They r strikingly abnormal , u know.
