What's going on w/ Lakshmi and this track

I am so so disappointed at how the show is handling K and L's story and this has been going on for months. Please, please put us out of our pain. Here's my problem and I don't know if you'll agree. And notice, I don't say much about the good things, because lo and behold, there aren't any right now!!!

Problem 1: This story is about the rights and strength of women in making their own destiny. IT IS NOT ABOUT BEING OBSESSIVELY IN LOVE WITH YOUR FATHER, OR HAVING YOUR LIFE REVOLVE AROUND FAMILY. Get a damn life and learn how to appreciate people outside of your family--yes, they DO exist. Even regular fathers never ask for this type of craziness from boys and girls. "You caused my family pain...I will never forgive you". Give me a break. Who's writing the SCRIPT--a high school student who wants to become a romance novelist???

PROBLEM 2: I think most people are religious and have different types of relationships with God. So God, help me, if I see one more of the Garodia poojas and requests of God, I'm going to flip out. Well, no, but you get the idea. IF I WANTED POOJAS EVERYDAY IN ADDITION TO WHAT I DO, I'D GO TO THE MANDIR. THIS IS A SERIAL--NOT THOSE RELIGIOUS SHOWS IN THE MORNING. NOW GO WRITE A REAL SERIAL. IF YOU CAN'T COME UP WITH REAL PROGRESS, DON'T FALL BACK ON THE PRAYER SESSIONS. Matter of act, the writers should PRAY to God themselves for some inspiration, inventiveness, and some sense.

PROBLEM 3: Lakshmi, Lakshmi, Lakshmi, where art thou Lakshmi? If this was Romeo and Juliet, she's enough of a reason to kill himself. How can I hate a character so much? Because, I think, she is behaving in ways that I believe are childish, so selfish. Noone in real life or in quasi-real life would be like her. Lakshmi's character was and is becoming more obnoxious, pompous, and selfish vs. moderating and growing emotionally. SHE IS INCREASINGLY BECOMING THE TYPE OF WOMAN I DO NOT WANT KARAN TO MARRY. SIGN THE D-PAPERS FAST, FAST LIKE A GOLD-DIGGER SIGNING A VERY GENEROUS SETTLEMENT! Let her be her father's theoretical third wife (a joke folks). I am so tired now of this show, and having Lakshmi go on and on and on. Because of this, we forum members are forced to go on and on and on about how much we dislike her and her behavior. I want Lakshmi to suffer and beg for Karan's forgiveness, versus, he getting and staying down on his knees catering to her, taking care of her, putting himself second. Because the wench can't appreciate it. Show "writers": Don't make him a wuss or a fool, because we like his character a lot. DON'T YOU WANT US VIEWERS TO LIKE LAKSHMI??? BECAUSE IF LOOKS COULD KILL😡, 😡 HER CHARACTER WOULD BE WRITTEN OUT/DEAD.

PROBLEM 3: Get on with other stories/tracks. PUT ON YOUR THINKING CAPS, AND COME UP WITH AN ORIGINAL IDEA OR TWO.

I apologize that I am being so mean but, you know what, a viewer can take only so much crap before they start tuning out. Really disappointing serial, really disappointing writing, really disappointing story direction. What a failure.

I agree totally . Other tracks need to move on...Dev Gauri , papad business landing a big order , Kaj being flung out , Surya recovering, getting garodia niwas back and Yuv on streets ! Ranbir Durga too . And yes that mysterious lady and Shitij !
I do hope they show Karan strong enough to hold his own against the garodias and not become a puppet like shitij . i may stop seeing the show if that happens .....i dont see it to see women doing all nonsense and men acting like puppets in their hands....surya was menakas puppet , yuv was kajris, shitij is saraswatis and now they wanna make karan laxmis puppet . ill just stop seeing it then.

Yes I do agree but think of this way. Anyone who goes thru all these downfalls in their lives, automatically run to GOD. The reason is that they do not have any courage to face anymore downfall and their limit of tolerance goes down.

I did not want to mention but I think I have to since there is too much of discussion going on about praying portion.I have a cousin whose family had to struggle a lot on everything they do.When she was 5, she fall off the terrace and broker her leg in away that she can not walk normal for rest of her life.Her dad was working in a factory and was earning 700Rs a month. There were 4 people in the house. To make the story short her mother was having health prob,father had the same, brother was nt paying attention in school so could not study.financially they were down and because of the health metally. ANything they do , it turned out to be negative. and believe me when she got engaged, they could invite only boy,his mom and his dad.and had to serve them in aluminium plate. meaning at everystage of life there was hardship and downfalls and anybad thing happens they run to the temple and pray

I think prayer is one of the solution to get mental peace and strangth. That does not mean you should nt try other things.BUt it automatically makes u go to the GOD and pray.

Hi this is Writer of GKLB from 1st episode... Let me tell u guys one thing... if somebody makes your father in such condition do u going to accept that guy or girl... I don't thinks so... Just think yourself from Laxmi's, girls and Suryakant's POV and u will get the answer... And for the tracks just wait and watch as there is lot of excited things going to come... GKLB has always respected it's audience and always trying to show the stregnth of the women and will do so in the future...

I hope it satisfies and if not further eps will satisfy everybody...

writerji...aj86 has written a post titled 'Laxmi not at fault' and we have given our replies to that post. Read my reply and tell me if we r saying anything wrong. Read other members reply too. This is the popular opinion going around now and I suggest to u to please read our comments from time to time so that u get an idea of what people really think. We love this serial and u have done a fantastic job as storywriter so please listen to our request .

I totally agree with you. this show keeps focusing on only one topic. It should combine other topics too and maybe that would make it interesting. I hope something new and interesting comes up like they get garodia nivas back or lakshmi forgives karan or Surya recovers.....something. I don't know I just want something new to happen in the show 😊 😊 😊 . I don't blame any of the characters in the show because it is not really their fault. I mean they do what they are told to do, they cant really change the story or dialogues. No offense to anyone, I am just putting my opinion out there.

tapish, there's no offense taken. You shared something with us, and I appreciate it. Not that my words will do much good, but I am really sad for your aunt/uncle and family. It's hard for me to read or hear these things that are too real. God bless them always, and in the next life.

Agree with you, true faith in God and all that he is, has such power. It changes how you look at things, reminds you of how good you have it, and that you are safe at a level much greater than where we are.
