June 12th Written Update
Garodia House -
Savitri tells Menka that Saras will make her own life's decisions, no one else. And then she pulls Menka's hand off of Saras, all are shocked seeing Savitri like this. Savitri tells to Saras, "Today you have to talk, because this is about u and ur child's future. And u have to take a decision today. So tell Saras, do you want this baby or not? Before this right is taken away from you, talk. I'm with you, always, with whatever decision you take. So speak Saras."
When Saras begins to speak, Menka tries to interrupt but Saras just ignores her and says, "Maa, I want to give birth to this child." Menka pulls her and tells, "Your emotional now and thats why u r taking this decision but you will regret it later. You have time today, which you will not have tomorrow, so don't do this." Saras nods no to her and then Baa says, "Saras, we are only telling you to abort the child so your bad past doesn't overshadow your bright future and spoil ur future as well." Saras and Savitri are disgusted hearing this. Baa continues, "We are not ur enimies, we only want ur best."
Menka goes and tells Surya, "Why are you quiet, say something and explain to Saras. Its going to be very difficult to take care of the baby with out a father. Why don't you speak??" Surya just looks away from Menka. Then Saras says, "Chotima, I want to give birth to this child. I don't want to give it death even before its given birth. Baa, there are so many single women who take of their kids much better without their fathers. Even I can do it. I will work and take care of my child and give it a good future. But I can't kill my baby. Bapuji, I have learnt how important a mother is to its child, and I've learnt this lesson from my mother herself. Pls don't take my baby away from me. The child is my entire world. Why are you punishing the baby? I want this baby, and I want the right to give birth to it."
Now Menka tells to Surya, "Now atleast speak and make her understand." Even Baa tells him to make her understand. Saras tells, "If you think that me and my baby are a burden to you then no problem, I will leave the house. In this big world, I will find shelter for me and my baby." She bends down to touch his feet, but Surya just stand motionless not knowing what to say. Saras walks to the door and at the last minute Surya tells her to stop and then walks towards Saras.
He tells her, "In the Garodia family, we never give death to a life. If you think that you can give a good life to your baby, then we are all with you. But don't say anything about leaving the house and going, because only daughters leave this house during bidaai. You will stay here very happily, because you have an equal right as much as the son has." Hearing this, Saras hugs her dad.
Saras's Room -
The girls are in the room very happy at how things turned out, and Savitri enters and tells, "I'm so proud that you were very brave today." All the girls are very excited abt the arrival of the baby and they talk abt how they are going to play with the baby. Laxmi gives a Ganpati's idol as a gift from the sisters to Saras. Saras says, "Maa, I will give the love of a mother and a father to the baby. I will not let the baby lack anything, I want to take care of the baby just like how you took care of us." Savitri tells, "I always saw a dream that whatever happiness I couldn''t give my kids, my kids shud be able to give their kids. My wish is that ur kid brings a lot of happiness in ur life."
Kajri is watching all this thru the window and comes in. She acts all happy and says, "I'm so glad with the way things turned out. From the beginning onwards I was against this decision of abortion. How can we take a life, I'm so happy that we saved this sin in time." Saras says, "Only a mother knows the importance of her baby." Laxmi tells Saras to take rest for some time... and they all leave the room. Saras stands there alone thinking, "I can't rest maa, until I settle one more matter."
Porch -
Baa is swinging on the swing when Surya comes there and sits with her. Baa looks irritatedly at Surya. Baa tells, "I think you've made a bad decision Surya."
Surya says," The phase that Saras is going thru right now, she needed my support being her father. She has seen so much of sadness, poor thing has not even gotten the support of her husband. But despite this, she's standing bravely thru it all. I'm very proud of her, she's grown up so much. She knows what is right and what is wrong. And in this, if we her own family don't take her side, then the faith by which she's facing all this will be shattered. And I don't think we shud turn her weak, and no one has a right except a mother to decide if the child has to come in this world or not. Maa, Saras will take care of the child very well. Infact this child will become her reason to live. The child does bring happiness to a parents life, isn't it maa?" Hearing this she gets tearful and nods and tells, "You are right, being a woman I shud have understood what you understood before me." She caresses his cheek with tears in her eyes and says, "I pray to god that no evil eye is cast on my Saras's happiness." Episode Ends.
