U know , it is one thing to give support to ur woman and quite another to become henpecked . Giving support to a woman doesnt mean submerging ur identity with her or forgetting ur duties towards ur own family or profession . This fine sense of balance is what makes man a real man . Unfortunately in this serial we see men as

Dull Wusses ...............Shitij , Yuvraj , Ranbir , Nikhil . [ They even later on tamed Karan .]

Full day living in ur wife's maayka isn't being a supportive husband . Also , it is perfectly okay not to listen to ur wife if she is wrong . Shitij shud have put his foot down when Saras made Kiran a scapegoat in her bid to save Baa and an interesting husband wife conflict shud have been shown , but they didn't .

In the serial , it is shown Jhanvi literally freezes this NIkhil with a mere look or tears in her eyes and constantly shows pride . And sends this guy stammering apologies for merely wanting to help her !

In my opinion all these guys shud tie frilly aprons around their waists and do A spongeBob dance .........bas yehi kasar baki hai . As U said , totally Lallu guy , who r good only for breeding bas .

😆😆 Life taught me that it is better to laugh at infuriating things than waste time getting bugged .Whether it is infuriating relatives , co workers , movies or Tv serials , if u laugh and see the humor it freshens u considerably . We have limited channels , and much as I wud love to watch colors and see Balika Vadhu or Uttaran[ both meaningful soaps] Im stuck with this Zee and these idiotic soaps . So I watch them for fun . They make me laugh and take my mind off serious problems . When I do these posts , I get spontaneous practice of writing , something I seriously pursue ! I have come to the conclusion that Life is beautiful ........much as I immerse myself in Jane Eyre , I love the sheer nonsense shown in these serials too ! Everything has it uses . I ofen control my sense of humor coz some people may get offended by my posts ..........still , at times it touches my posts !😆

Aye . ' Bad Jhanvi ' had one unique quality ..........she thought for herself . this clan like robot mentality , losing all power of independent thinking and blindly following any nonsense dictated by some elder sister is rather frightening , and frankly it amounts to a problem that needs serious counselling . Whether it is India or the US , if a bunch of sisters simply lost their thinking capacity and followed their one sister like a robot , it shud be seen as something unhealthy . Instead , to my intense surprise , in this serial it is shown as some great quality . I had four other siblings and all 5 of us were utterly diffrent from each other . And although we loved each other we squabbled , bickered and fought and almost everytime had our own unique way of assesing a problem and tackling it ! To this day I and my sister argue on a phone about how to tackle any isue .........be it her office politics , relatives , children , our mom ...........anything ! Rarely do we immediately agree on any issue handling . Sitting over here I can predict how she will handle some issue and sitting over there she will know in her bones how I wud go about tackling an issue ! Thats real sibling for u .............this robot mentality in Betiyaan is rather unnerving . Just like they dulled Nikhil , they dulled Jhanvi too .

the best betiyaan husband was KARAN! kshitij, nikhil and everyone else is just there and not doing anything...atleast karan had a sense of pride, and he kept his wife with him (at his house). but they had to kill him off. I hope akash is different and whatever happened to laxmi's new hubby?
