I totally agree that Menaka is absolutely without conscience and awful to even suggest that Yuvraj should be brought in to ' run the business ' , but exactly what were the stupid daughters of Suryakant thinking running off to some remote village to lend some so called support to their sister [ that too all four of them ] when after that awful phase of Kajri so many piorities r lined up ?

Really , r women this stupid ? Why does this show always harp on the stupidity of women ? The first thing that four women wud do is take over the business , look into the accounts to see how much their nincompoop Brother has spent on the prostitute wife of his , contact their lawyer , hold a board of directors meeting to see the exact state of the business , hold a staff meeting to boost their morale and apprise them of change ........, on the side , keep up with their brother's case an go to meet him in the jail to find out more details about their father , instead it was shown all 4 run off like idiots to support their sister's dance school ?

Do scriptwriters know really how sharp women r in business ? If the silly school was so important [ which btw was left to Radhaji ......it is not even as if Jhanvi inherited it or sumthing]...........even then they cud have shown that two sisters went and two remained behind to help Shitij .

What they showed was women have no business acumen or sense of priorities , their brains r in their knees . Also , what is that wuss Shitij moaning about , Surya managed the business for so many years alone .........was Yuvraj there to help him , or even these women? Hasmukh lent a hand , bas .

I do hope with this a new phase starts in Betiyaan where they show the daughters as business women , not becoming succesful with fluke lucks please , that they bring Hasmulkh back , that they r more sensitive to women workers and start daycare in business area as they themselves r women and increase productivity of the goods . Show us sum cleverness , not stupidity . And stop the Aratis plzz.

When I started watching this show, I was under the impression it promoted daughters as being the real pillars of strength for their parents. That would mean - supporting their parents in their business & not just being "good & obedient" daughters. What shocked me is that they got over their father's death so quickly! They have absolutely no point - 3 of them are married, two's husbands are missing in action some where...what they are protraying is daughters are good for nothing, house wives who make ghar jamai's out of their husbands!

This show kills the spirit of a woman....

Not only that , they r dancing in the rain , when they shud be holding meetings with their brother and sternly grill him for more and more ! The busines is just lying there .........for any Tom Dick and Harry to come and trample it . People who own just one shop .......even they dont go off anywhere like this still they have replacements ..........what is this ?

What makes me so irritated is showing women to be so stupid , without smartness . Emotional to the point of being irrational . Is this what a woman is about ? Women r so smart , clever , and capable of controlling emotion hard headedly at times ...........why isnt this aspect ever shown ? So infuriating this is !

The creatives are forgetting that the main audience of the show are women, unfortunately, I have as of yet to come across an Indian soap that make sense logically...

For example - when Kajri almost fell off the boat, Yuv wouldn't let her die, it was okay for him to let his foster father die but not his prostitute girlfriend/wife...where is the logic in that??

When they all confronted Kaj on the boat - who was taking care of Naman, Suhai & Kiran???

I know these are silly points but what I am trying to get across here is that if these creatives forget basic logic then how can we have any hope that they will remember any logic related to protraying women as self sustaining, smart, intelligent, resilient individuals who can run any business as well as or even better than a man?

Koolsadhu - I think you should become a creative on this show, then definitely the story line would improve & all of us would LOVE watching the show!

😆😆😆 hahaha , they can just flick ideas off this forum itself , but they r too lazy to look . Thanks anyways , I wud have enjoyed the meetings of the scriptwriters to discuss ideas , their thought processes stun me so i am very curious about their fertile brains .😆

I love reading your posts - they are so logical and if only the creatives would take a peak on here, they would get so many clever ideas that would sure boost the ratings of this show. There is so much they could show the betiyaan doing that would promote women's libs and rights and give them courage to take on anything. In this day and age, even in India, women are successfully working and taking care of the house - that is exactly the kinds of stuff they should be showing - show them running and building the business and doing stuff to make it even more successful than it already is - we are tired of watching the b.s they are showing.

1] Saving a rich client from an accident and landing a big order

2] Nikhil's influence and his contacts as currently he is meherbaan on Jhanvi's dance in the rain.......{they may show him daydreaming about that dance and her wet beauty on the background of a Jab We met song and then picking up his phone and making a call to give them a client ............moral of the story being woman can land contracts only with feminine appeal ]

3] A special vow to God by Savitri saying meri betiyaan ko success de do or ill not remove my hand from the flame of the diya . [ Yes , she has done it umpteen numbe of times . Yeh bhi possible hai !]

So u see , these will be the corny techniques that creatives will apply to show business acumen of the stupid daughters who dumped their business and ran off to sum remote village for some forsaken dance school that isnt even theirs . We will not see Betiyaan dividing business work according to acumen or specialization , one managing creative side , one accounts , one the factory and workers , one PR , whereas one gives women employment , provides daycare service so both ends r achieved.......sensitivity as woman and also goods productivity . They will definetely not land contracts due to intelligence as women r not supposed to have any according to creatives.

And yes , if they do , be sure the scriptwriters read our post . Khud toh sochengehi nahi .😉😆😆
