March 16^th '09 Written Update –

Kajri asks Saras to accompany her and Ras to go shopping, and she goes along. Later the family convinces Niy to have a baby shower done. Jhanvi and Radhaji approach a lawyer to save their school, but seeing that he can't help them, he asks them to talk to the Singhania's lawyers instead. Kaj-Ras return home from shopping with Saras holding all the bags. Kiran spots a bag with toys and asks for it. Kajri takes a big doll out of there and hands it over to her and all look on stunned. At night, all are getting ready to sleep in the yard, when Kajri comes there and tells Saras that from now on she and Kiran can sleep in their own room and gives her the keys to the room. The rest of them are shocked to see Saras agreeing to move into the room. When Kajri leaves, the sisters express their disappointment in Saras and they try to make her see that Kajri is trying to separate them by doing this. Saras doesn't say a word and leaves to pack. Kajri sees all this from afar and is pleased. Ras and she rejoice that they succeeded in creating a rift among the sisters. When Shitij sees Saras packing his things, he grabs them from her and tells her that he is not moving in w/ her and Kiran. He rebukes her for turning her back on her family and choosing the life of luxury over them. She tells him to do as he wishes and leaves w/ Kiran to the room, while Gauri and Durga plead w/ her to not leave. Sav asks them to let her go as she is not the Saras, they once knew. All look on devastated seeing Saras leave.
