Surya is abt to take a sip of the poisoned water, when Yuv feels guilty and realizes he is wrong in doing this. He quickly pushes Surya's hand and the glass drops to the ground, b4 Surya cud drink from it. Later Yuv goes to meet kajri to tell her that he can't kill his dad. This infuriates her and she instigates him further telling him that this is the only way for him to give Naman a good life and threatens to leave town for sure this time, if he can't go thru with it. Fearing that he will lose Naman, Yuv agrees to do as she says. She then shares with him the plan she has thought of to kill Surya.

The next morning, the day of Surya-Sav's 30^th anniversary, both of them share some sweet moments together. Sav prepares for Surya his fav dish and all join in their happiness. Sav wonders why she is feeling nervous and restless today and tries to stop Surya from going to work, but he promises to be back soon. The driver is driving Surya to work when he spots Yuvraj on the road trying to fix his car. Surya offers to take him to work in his car and both leave in Surya's car together, while the driver stays back to get Yuv's car fixed. While in the car, Yuv makes up a story that he has seen a land to start a new factory and that he wants Surya to check it out. Surya agrees to go with him, but he is confused when they reach a boating harbor. Yuv explains to him that the land is on the other side of the shore and so they have to go via boat to get there. Surya reminds him that he gets nervous around water, but Yuv promises to take care of him and they both get on the boat.

Surya stands on the terrace of the boat by the railing and watches as the boat takes off. Yuv tells Surya that he is so sorry for disappointing him over and over again. Surya is glad to see a positive change in Yuv and replies that he is proud of him and will always love him, and it is Kajri whom he despises. Yuv then goes downstairs inside the boat where Kajri is waiting anxiously. Yuv tells her that he can't kill his dad. She continues to brainwash him and instigates him all the more, while upstairs on the terrace of the boat, Surya calls his lawyer and tells him that he loves his son and has changed his mind abt the will and now wants all the property in Yuv's name. Yuv goes upstairs on the terrace looking agitated and angry. When Surya asks him what's wrong, Yuv explodes on him that he doesn't love him and only loves his daughters. He goes on and on that cuz of him; he lost Naman and also tells him that he knows abt the new will. Surya is stunned listening to Yuv talk this way. Just then Kajri comes there and Surya tells her that he is not surprised seeing her here, cuz he was just listening to her words thru Yuv. When Surya charges towards Kaj, Yuv tries to hold him back. Kajri notices that Surya's feet are entangled around a rope, so she pulls the rope and he falls over the railing!

A terrified Surya holds on to the railing dangling between the boat and the water. He pleads to Yuv to save him. Yuv looks on in shock and horror as he watches Surya losing his grip. Kajri gets worried when Yuv holds his hand out to Surya to help him up. Surya is relieved to see that and he grabs on to Yuv's hands, while Yuv remembers all the love Surya has showered on him all his life, but then all of a sudden when Kajri's words starts ringing in his ears and he remembers how Surya treated him lately, he lets go of Surya's hand, and Surya falls into the water… while Yuv and Kajri look on!!!
