Kakul is on the phone with Sujeet, telling him that bau-sehab has fixed his wedding with the daughter of one of his friends. Sujeet jokes around with her saying that she's just HEARD of it, even though he's already married someone, and leaving for Switzerland for his honeymoon tomorrow. When Kakul doesn't say anything, he laughs saying that he was just kidding. He says that he can never let anyone take Trisha's place. Kakul gets relived and says that she wanted to say something to Sujeet, but she would like it better if she could say it when they were face to face. Sujeet tells her to wait until tomorrow, when he's back. They both hang up and Kakul leaves her room to tell Devika about her conversation with Sujeet.
In Devi's room, Utthra paces around telling Devi that she'll kick out kakul from the house if she doesn't fix the rishta. She goes onto say that Kakul is manhoos, and everything is always her fault. Kakul comes to the room, and Utthra talks to her rudely (what else is new). Kakul tells them not to worry as she'll take care of everything. She says that Sujeet wouldn't marry without Kakul's agreement. Utthra changes her colours again, and is all happy with kakul once again. (she's so horrible. I hate her)
The next day Kakul gets a phone call from bau-sehab who complains that Sujeet does not want to marry his friend's daughter. He asks kakul to convince to Sujeet. Kakul says that Sujeet is right in not wanting to marry this stranger, bau-sehab ends up agreeing, and asks if she has someone else in mind. She tells him that they'll talk once they both come back from Patna.
Kakul goes to Devika and asks her not to go to work today as she wants the Shagun to be done today itself.
BREAK
Utthra comes in on them (I HATE HER) and she says that she will have to do so much before the two men come. Kakul tells her that she'll do everything. Kakul asks Devika to promise never to fault her life or her kundali again. Utthra interprets again, and says that Kakul needs to promise that she will never leave this house again.
Samman talks about his business with Amarnaat and says that they should leave right away for business. Utthra says that they should delay this meeting as everyone should be in the house today. Amarnaat says that they should wait for the dulhe wale's response before they make plans. Utthra however is very confident that the answer will be a YES from Sujeet. (uh-oh! I think Sujeeet will say no, and everyone will hate Kakul again).
In the meantime Sharad rushes in saying that the flight from Patna crashed.
BREAK
Everyone is very shocked to hear this, and they all on the television to watch the news. Devika gets shocked and sits down, while Kakul tries calling bau-sehab and sujeet on their cellphone. It doesn't work. Utthra gets some sort of attack and falls down on the couch.
