Part 47

Geet looked out of the window to see a beautiful temple standing proudly on the edge of the hill. She looked at him, confused, only to see his broad smile as he got out of the car. He walked around and opened her side of the door, taking her hand in his and pulling her out.

Geet only stared at him and followed him up the stairs of the temple. As they reached the top, her eyes widened in realization. Things started making sense as she saw the priest and the havankund. There were also a few items for the marriage rituals. She felt a surge of emotions, making her eyes tear up. She gave him an overwhelmed smile.

"When we married the first time, I wasn’t in my senses, nor were you. But now, as we have accepted each other by heart, I want to marry you again with all the rituals and create new memories with you." Saying this, he extended his hand to her, and she instantly placed hers in his. "I am eager to become yours all over again," she whispered with a teary smile, and both walked up to where the priest was waiting for them.

They performed all the marriage rituals again, this time doing everything happily, putting their whole hearts into it. They followed each of the priest's words carefully and made silent promises to each other. He placed the wedding chain around her neck and filled her partition again, making her eyes tear up once more. She was clueless about when she started feeling so emotional, but she was happy with the sweet changes brought about by Maan.

He cradled her cheek with utmost affection and then kissed her forehead before taking her into a bone-crushing hug. Afterward, they both took the priest’s blessing before walking out.

"Maan, can we stay here for a while? It’s soothing here," Geet asked, holding his wrist. He looked at her and nodded, "Sure."

Both sat on a stone outside the temple, enjoying the serene atmosphere in the soothing presence of the divine.

When they both returned to the cottage, Maan asked her to take some rest while he attend one conference call.

"But I don’t want to. I’m fine," she protested.

"Now you’re saying this. Later, I’m not going to let you stay up. Don’t say I didn’t warn you," he replied.

Maan, she shot him an annoyed look, ready to pounce on him, but he quickly rushed out of the room. After he left, she smiled and blushed at the same time. Deciding to just sit and check her phone for a while, she called some of her friends and the orphanage. Then she thought about her dadima and Aryan. Although she wanted to talk to them, she wasn’t sure how they would react. They were likely angry about her recent stunt, but she decided to speak with them face-to-face after returning home.

"Dadima... Aryan... I miss you. I know you must be missing me too," she thought wistfully. With that thought, she rested her head on the headboard and didn’t realize when she fell asleep in a semi-reclining position.

It was nearing night, when maan walked in to check on her. he noticed her sleeping at the edge of the bed in uncomfortable position. he rushed at the side at once seeing her going to fall at any moment from the bed as she turned on he shoulder in sleep.

Before she hit the floor, he was at her side, holding her in his arms. She woke up with start and he lifted her in his arms, sitting himself on the bed, he put her on his lap.

She smiled lazily, putting her head on his shoulder, while he pulled her closer hugging her dearly, slept well..’

Umm..’ she nuzzled her nose inn the crook of his neck, making him tighten his hold on her back, his hands started moving over her bare back, feeling her soft skin..she snuggled closer while her hands roaming on his shirt clad body.

His fingers worked on her blouse hooks, in one moment he opened it and slide her blouse down her upper body. Geet willingly moved her body according to give him access. He cupped her....

Finally Maan had planned a beautiful surprise for Geet on their aniversary .. it is beautiful that they are making new memories and enjoying the present

Though Geet wanted to spoke to Dadi ma but stoped as obviously they will be annoyed at her for taking this step

I really loved the closeness of Maan & Geet and this time it was really beautiful ❤️ but what made Maan stop in between
