Hi there, Finished reading all three parts and the prologue.

First, the name is hinting it's going to be an emotional and intense one. Engaging prologue. Mishty is settled in London and I am safely assuming that's Geet. A confident businesswoman for a change, love to see that. 🙋‍♀️

Don't tell me the boy outside the park is Maan's son? So Maaneet has been obviously separated. Not going to ask 'why' because definitely, that's the story is about.

All three updates capture Geet's hidden wound and Maan's burning heart. He tried to burn her but now he is burning in repentance. Bits of pieces of the Past and Present of Maaneet have one similarity there is anguish, lots of it. It's written wonderfully. Emotions are well depicted.

My poor Geet has been in love with Maan since childhood. She didn't even meet Maan for years but she fell in love with the perception she has in her mind. How cutely she used to complain to his picture... That's how innocent she used to be. But now she is running an Ad agency which shows the complete contrast. Thank you Maan for bringing that side of Geet!

Geet has grown up with so much abuse. Hated her incompetent father for not standing up to those criminals in the guise of Darji and Brij. 😪 NGL my blood boiled during their encounter with Geet!
What usually happens with domestic violence/emotional abuse victims is that, especially if abused since childhood by family members, they can't distinguish between abuse and love that well. In the majority of cases again falls a victim to toxic relationship. I can see why(apart from love) Geet must have endured Maan's bizarreness for so long until she took the heavy decision. (I have a friend irl, who was in an abusive relationship and she would always forgive that man whenever he would say sorry despite us trying to tell her that he was not worth it. And this friend of mine is very kind as a person but she too faced mistreatment in her childhood. Seeing Geet still missing Maan sort of reminded me of her.)
Feel very sad for Geet. It's so tough to be in her shoes. She thought Maan would rescue her from the prison but he too disappointed her.

Coming to Maan, he surely dug his own grave by losing the most precious thing in his life. Why must he push Geet's button so badly by linking himself with another woman's name? 🤦‍♀️ Aisa bhi kiya kar diya tha Geet ne? Srif saccha Pyaar hi to kiya Maan se! Even his siblings liked Geet so much that now they are not in a good terms with Maan.

Now, Maan is regretting but still, something is off. Maybe will connect with him better with more updates but for now, my whole heart is with Geet! Am sure you will make his repentance worth it. Meanwhile, wonder what has changed Maan's heart who once thought Geet is a doormat, treated her as some furniture in his mansion!

Adhvay - Their son! Have a feeling he is the reason Geet had taken the hard decision. Or say, had the courage to take the decision to leave that toxic household. Meera had seen Geet in London so I guess Maaneet meeting is near.

I am a very ardent fan of your writing but its a little difficult for me to catch up on all fan fics of yours, at once..

'Indebted' and 'Enchanted' are the one's I follow piously.. Hence the delay in replying to others... I just read the chapters of 'The Burnt' and am excited to see how this story unfolds...

So, Geet is living in disguise of Mishty to escape from Maan who had been cruel to her in the past. They have a son, but Maan and his family are totally unaware of her whereabouts and existence too...

Maan has been repenting for his deeds and believes she is alive some where... Damn I'll tell you Anu, this true connection between Maaneet is always that makes me come back to this forum and get lost in them...

Geet has worked hard to provide for herself and their son, woh bhi London mein.. Wahh!! I wanna know the details of how she managed to reach there and how she struggled to make a place there... It would be quite an interesting tale to know...

Meera has recognized her Veerji's wife/her Bhabhi, isska matlab she will leave no stone unturned to make Geet involved in their company permanently... Abhi toh shuruwat dikh rahi hai, aage lagta hai dhamaka hone wala hai... So looking forward to that...

Maan had a mini encounter with his son. Dadi Maa also felt a soul connect with the same kid. I wish to see more such encounters, maybe some friendship building among the father-son duo..

Maan said that he used to force himself upon Geet and yet she took all his hatred in love. He angrily used to hang around with Sameera but deep within knew that Geet held a certain power over him. I want to read more about those incidences and also would love to see them reliving the same, after they come back together, however that might be... Be it in love or for the sake of their son, I want to see the power in their passion...

I might have typed a whole lot of my expectations here, Anu.. But I look forward to these scenarios/moments as I know your stories hold a special human touch, that'll be perfectly depicted with Maaneet...

This story is going to be huge, because it has not only past but past ka past and then present and their story after they meet. So too many things to cover. I don't want it to be monotonous and thus past present will keep traveling together.

but look at maan even then, could not help himself but hold her in his arms...he needed her...he would not accept it and that made him even more mad at her...he was mad that he could not touch anyone else but her...and she knew that too....

once you come to know maan you will break down even more....for sure..

her fear is if he sees his son he migh tforcefully take him away from her ...she for sure will die then...

but she does not know the new maan....and how can she trust him either ...

meera and adi so excited seeing mishty khurana...they know exatly who she is....

meera and adi understand maan now they know how much he repents for his actions and what he has been doing to come out of those ....

dadi too supports him now....only dev and annie are aginst maan...which they should be too

geet so happy that she did not have to face maan...but he can sense her in some form from his restlessness.....

waiting to see what happens next....what will meera do???

Yes, kid can give strength to even weak person and they take decision which they would otherwise never had. And for Maan, it was needed.

Very well analyzed the story part by part and each character.

Even if I am writing, the main pain that I feel is that Geet saved her innocence for him all in between her family's torture and he killed it by his own hands.

Now even if he repents , how will it be back?

Also, thanks for sharing the story. Yes even I have seen some cases. Some men are simply crazy.

Geet agree for work as all co. did hard work n she can't let it go ..

Geet spent time with her son n best part was geet talking to maans pic n self talk ... So emotional 😢😢😢 feels geets pain

Her love for maan ... Longing for maan n her seeing maan in their son ... Her mention about his son thing I m best n he thinks otherwise was so heart touchy
