Chapter 53 - Back to Business

Next few days went by, with Maan making each morning to night special for Geet. They would start the morning by finishing off their leftover love making from night time, followed by showering together or spending some time in the jacuzzi , of course playing with each other and then the next session of love making.

Later they would have exclusive breakfast and would then set off for a day's adventure. Many a time, day spent on the private beach that belonged to their property. Maan would make sure they were in minimal or exclusive beach dressing. His hands slipping on the small of her back, Geet’s hand inside his thin material shirt. Maan would bring her close to him, with his hands all over her, owning her, so close that she would almost be standing on his toes, sharing a passionate kiss.

As the water would warm up, they would leave their shade on the beach to run into the middle of clear blue water. Once in the water, Maan would not let Geet out of it.

They also explored all kinds of adventure there- scuba diving, speed up of water boat, paragliding and what not.

Then they would have all kinds of seaside food at lunch time. Sometimes, Maan would order the full tray on the beach, many times he would take her to an exclusive restaurant at the beach side.

They would not go to the beach everyday. Few days, they would just spend a lazy love making day, which never ended till their belly screamed at them. Somedays, it would be just relaxing on the poolside of their residence.

The evening would depend on how they have spent the day. If it would be a relaxing day then he would take her for a grand dinner or it would be a cozy night if they had a hectic adventurous day.

A month was over and now it was time for them to get back home.

Geet was holding Maan by his arms “Thanks for such a dreamy time. Becoming yours is all I have dreamt since childhood. Thanks for making me fully yours.”

Maan simply cupped her face and pressed his lips on hers in an answer.

After they reached London five days passed. Maan got super busy while Geet’s workload was a bit light. The Dead project assigned to her had kicked off and now she was overlooking its start off, which had been assigned to different departments.

Her hubby was super busy so she got to spend some quality time with Dadima and Annie. Dadima got a chance to know Geet more. Her love for Maan was evident in each word she spoke. Dadima, now, could clearly see how she had always madly been in love with her grandson and being a child, that too his pampered princess, those were her ways to show him her love.

Geet, she realized, has never ever hesitated in showing that she loved Maan above anything.

Annie, anyways, was Geet’s best friend and started loving her even more after Rohan’s incident. Now even Dadima completely considered her as the child of the house. She was Maan’s happiness. And after getting to know Geet from close, and she, now being daughter in law of the house, was also getting all love and pampering from Dadima as well.

Indebted - Phase II - Intro

It was Sunday and Maan settled on the breakfast table, still busy on his call.

“Maan it’s Sunday dear…”

Maan signaled and requested a few moments as he continued his call. Geet quietly served everyone, including Maan. She was enjoying doing wifely duties for a man who has pampered her all his life.

After disconnecting, Maan took a bite.

“We are launching this new project into pharmaceuticals. Its finalized now”

“Bhai.. you finalized that huge project while on call during your breakfast???” asked Annie surprised

“Do you think it’s that simple to run the business empire and be on top of it?” he said in a stern tone to Annie while Geet served him toast, fruit bowl and curd and then started serving herself.

“Boiled egg???” he asked Geet with narrowed eyes.

People around the breakfast table knew, he was fully back to his business mode and this Maan was no joke to handle. You have to be perfectionist when dealing with this version of him

Geet looked at Nakul, asking him about eggs which were not on the table

“It's not yet on the breakfast table? Don’t you have to check these before?”

“Maan just few minutes, it will be there”

“Geet, if you take the responsibility you should be sure to get it done with perfection or else we have people. I don’t like things done half baked, you know that”

“Maan, just five minutes.. it will be there” she signaled Nakul to hurry. Nakul turned to rush for kitchen

“Nakul, close the kitchen for breakfast. We will have whatever is here” and he ended it there

“Maan, Geet is your newly wedded wife. She is trying to do things for us. You can be bit liberal beta”

Maan took a bite from his toast “Sorry Dadima. Geet is my newly wedded wife but not new to me. She knows how I am. I do things with perfection to maximum possibility and I expect the same with others. Especially Geet. I have never given her the liberty of doing things with less perfection. I am fine if she wants to give up this responsibility but if she takes it then…”

“Dadima, it’s okay. Maan, I won’t give you a chance of complaint from tomorrow” Geet interrupted.

“Hmm…” Geet was well aware of this side of Maan. Even in childhood, she could throw all sorts of tantrums when he was in the serious business of teaching her but he did not budge. The questions had to be solved with no shortcuts, her tests that he designed were tougher than any board or competition level exams she has given till date.

Even when training her for sports competition, he made her do the practice and workout till she was more than worn out.

She cried as much as she could, he let it pass from his ears, not making it easy for her. But that has resulted Geet in outperforming in any types of exams and competitions.

This was though surprising for Dadima and Annie

“You are so pampering to her, never expected your this side with Geet”

“Dadima, the core reason of half of our childhood fights were my this side and I expect Geet to remember it very well”

“Okay.. it is hard for any of us to know how things work between you too. So I leave it here. Accha, yeh bataiye, this new project, in whose name you are going to put it?”

“Whose name? I didn’t get you”

“I mean, you have one whole big unit of Annie’s creation in Annie’s name. Toh abb toh Geet ke bari hai. Yeh new project to Geet ka marriage gift hona chahiye”

“Dadima!!! This is a huge-huge taking for Khurana Enterprise.This is not a project but a whole new sub brand of Khurana Group. I have worked hard the whole year to get this started.”

“Well you gifted Annie's Creation to Annie, then why not Geet. You are making me witness partiality, Maan. You are going to make my head low before Geet and her parents”

“Dadima, this is a new brand of Khurana group, not any jewelry or a chocolate bar, that I give one-one to each. Anyways, I do not like comparison. Geet and Annie are different people and different in relation to me. When I gave Annie’s creation to Annie, there was a different reason behind it. I don’t see any reason to give this brand to Geet.”

Savitri Devi was surprised by Maan’s answer. But now that she has raised it, he thought to explain her

“And I have worked hard for it, why would I serve all the hard work in Geet’s plate. And frankly, she has yet to prove her caliber to me, for me to hand over such a big brand to her.”

“Well, when you gave Annie the Anie’s Creation, she was just in college”

“Dadima again, I do not like comparison. What I do for one person and not another has its own reason. Well, to that point, now even Annie is not going to get any new launch in her name. I gave her one, she has to learn and work to make it even bigger and get revenue from that to bring brand if she wishes. I will support her but it will be her initiative. I gave her the start, now it's on her how she makes it bigger. And not to forget, Pari has 25% share in Annie’s creation”

He took time once in a while to remind everyone that they should not consider anything provided by him for granted.

Savitri Devi looked at Maan. No one can deny, Maan had worked day and night to get Annie’s Creation in shape and he one day, without a thought he transferred it to Annie. That was shocking and now this version is shocking to her as well.

And this strictness with Geet, she felt bad and worried both

“Now, as per family tradition, will you not transfer part of share in Geet’s name”

“Mera sabkuch Geet ka he hai. She is already been added as my nominee, alag se share ki kya zaroorat hai”

Now that Geet was the daughter in law of the house, Dadima wanted things to be fair. Also, she did not want any type of sourness and confusion regarding money in Geet and her family’s heart.

“Maan company share is her right as your wife.”

“I am again stating Dadima, all mine is Geet’s. But to keep your word, I will transfer a five percent Share in Geet’s name. I hope you are happy now.”

Geet and Annie were quietly having breakfast. Dadima was worried, why is Maan behaving so harshly? And Geet, what must she be thinking on Maan’s word. How broken she will feel to hear such words from a person who claims to love her so much.

“Okay, now that Dadima has started the Sunday to be on a serious note. Let me end the serious mode with one last announcement. Geet, I have a new project for you so I want you to set up time to meet me tomorrow in my office. Annie, you will be working with Pari from tomorrow for Annie’s creation”

He looked at each one as he addressed them

“Now, let’s have a family Sunday time. Maan is all yours ladies” he got up with a smile.

After an hour of chatting with Annie, Geet entered her room to get ready for shopping with Annie as the girls had decided. Geet was looking from some dresses when she felt his hands circling around her waist. Smile formed on her face and she turned to him, circling her hands around his nape

“I have a gift for my Jaan” he said, smiling and raising his eyebrows

Geet let out the breath with a heavy sigh “You already bored me with that financial conversation at breakfast. I am in no mood for your financial gift. In bedroom, NOOOO”

“Do you think I am dumb to bring such a topic with my sooo happening wife in my arms and that too in the bedroom? Khud ka dushman thode hi hoon main?”

Geet smiled and nodded “Fine then, what’s the gift from my happening hubby to this happening wife”

Maan pulled her closer, bent to nuzzle his face in the valley of her bossom “Maan, the door is open” Geet giggled when he rolled his tongue on her soft skin

“No one comes to newly weds room without knocking” he said continuing to drown himself more into her valley, his hand already pulling of her shirt from her shoulder

“This is your gift?” she could hardly speak as she circled her shoulder due to the sensation he was causing.

“Gift is special” he picked her and threw her on the bed. Quickly went to close the door and then jumped on her. Geet smiled, admiring his so handsome face which looked even killer when he looked at her with his devilish smile

“Maan”

“Shhhhh” he stopped her by placing his finger on her lips. And next, Geet was surprised by the thing in his hand, hanging in front of her eyes

“Maa–an” she moaned with surprise

“Special or not?” he asked , love flowing from his eyes

“most special” and she pulled him in a tight hug. Maan moved his hand and felt tears down wetting her face

“Geet”

“I have been waiting for this from you. I thought you will never ever give it to me”

“See if it fits you still.. seeing that you have gained a bit more than those days” he teased her. Geet pouted

“I have not gained…” Maan pressed his lips on her and in the process, took her wrist and made her wear the bracelet which he had bought as a first gift for her from his first earning. He had spent his whole two months earning to get that bracelet.
