Hope all girls do not land in trouble
Cont soon
Once again a wonderful update. Yes, Geet has probably dug herself into an early grave. Siddarth will definitely what to murder her but I am looking forward to how Maan and Vivaan will deal with this. They both love her and they are both Capoâs. Where will their loyalties lie? I only hope that Geet has not sacrificed many others. She has sacrificed herself but that was something she was prepared to do for the love of her sister and best friend. Looking forward to the next. Thanks again!
Chapter 70
Siddharth stood abruptly during our meeting with our enforcers with his phone pressed to his ears, his eyes widened and silently telling me to clear the room.
âGet outâ I snapped out sharply and all my men stood and walked out. âWhat is it?â I asked looking at him. A knot formed in my stomach as I could already feel I wouldnât like what he had to say.
âGeet, Siya, and Antara have goneâ he forced the words out angrily.
For a moment, the words didnât register. Gone? My mind reeled, the knot in my stomach tightening into a vice. âWhat the fck do you mean âgoneâ?â I asked calmy trying to keep the rage within me in check though he didnât miss the cutting edge.
âTheyâre not at the estate. The guards are out cold, and Hiten isnât answering his phone. The car they arrived in is goneâ. He tossed his phone onto the table, his own anger barely contained. âSheâs taken them. Your wife, my sister-in-law, has just betrayed usâ
I felt a rush of heat, anger surging through my veins like wildfire. My fingers curled into fists at my sides as I tried to process what he was saying. Geet? My wife? No. She wouldnât⌠No, she couldnât.
âAre you sure?â I ground out, though I already knew the answer. Siddharth wasnât one to jump to conclusions. If he said they were gone, they were gone.
âDo you think Iâd be telling you this if I wasnât sure?â he snapped, pacing the room like a caged animal. âThe guards were drugged, Maan. This wasnât some spur-of-the-moment thing. She planned thisâ.
Planned this. The words echoed in my mind, each syllable like a punch to the gut. I had given her my trust, my protection. I had given her my heart. I loved her, and this was how she repaid me?
âFind themâ I said coldly, my voice deadly quiet. Siddharth stopped pacing, turning to look at me. âI donât care how far theyâve gone or what it takes. Find them. Nowâ.
He nodded, already reaching for his phone. âIâll put the men on it. Weâll track them downâ.
âCall that bulldog and let him know!â I added. I wouldnât have bothered letting him know but we needed to find them quick before any news reached Anuj or Arvind.
I didnât wait to hear more. My mind was racing, fury and disbelief clashing violently as I strode out of the room. My steps were quick and purposeful, each one echoing with the weight of my anger. The betrayal burned in my chest, hot and unforgiving.
By the time I reached the car, I was already pulling out my phone.
Aarav answered on the first ring.
âWhere the fck were you?â I snarled, my patience razor-thin.
âShe⌠drugged usâ he answered, his voice sounded groggy.
âWhat the fck! How did 3 girls manage to drug you all?â I snapped sharply. âDo you know where they went?â
âWeâre checking the CCTV around here and the surrounding areas alreadyâ.
âYou better find her, Aaravâ I snapped.
I ended the call, barely noticing how tightly I was gripping the phone until my knuckles turned white. My mind churned with questions, each one more damning than the last.
How had I not seen this coming? Had I been too distracted? Too trusting? Or had I simply underestimated her?
Geet. I had thought I knew her, thought I understood her. She had been reluctant at first, sure, but I had seen the fire in her, the strength, the loveâŚ.
Was this all a lie? Was she playing me from the start?
The car roared to life as I slammed my foot on the accelerator. I didnât know where I was going, yet. But I knew one thing, I would find her. And when I did, there would be hell to pay.
Geet
I stood with Antara and Siya as I checked them in at the boarding desk. My heart was pounding and I was always scanning my surroundings afraid that Maan and his men might find us here.
âAll checked inâ the attendant said with a smile passing back our passports. I thanked her and we moved away from the desk handing the passes to Antara.
âRight, youâre all setâ I informed. I had purchased a third ticket for myself and checked in though I wasnât going with them. If Maan or Vivaan happened to check, they were going to be looking for 3 paired tickets but doing this meant there were 2 tickets paired together. I had taken Antara and Siyaâs phones and swapped them for new ones. The plan was to switch on their phones on as I drove around in another town for a couple of hours as I knew Vivaan and Maan would track it â that would throw them off the track.
âYouâre going to be okayâ I reassured. âJust keep your heads downâ I informed. I had selected Morrocco as their destination as it would allow them to disappear, and it wouldnât be a country that would come to Vivaan nor Maan.
Siya nodded, but I could see the anxiety creeping into her expression. She kept glancing at the screen showing the flight status, her hands fidgeting. Antara, on the other hand, was quiet, her eyes betraying the overwhelming mix of fear and sadness she was trying to suppress.
The screen flashed, announcing that the flight to Morocco was boarding. My chest tightened. This was it. The moment we said goodbye.
I turned to Antara first, pulling her into a tight hug. She clung to me like a child, tears streaming down her cheeks as I kissed her on both sides of her face. âTaraâ I whispered, my own voice breaking, âyou'll be fine. Youâve got the money, the documents, everything you need. Find a quiet town and lay low. Wait until everything settles down. I canât call you but send me fake spam emails like we talked about. Itâll be our way of knowing youâre okayâ.
âDi, come with usâ She urged me tightening her arms.
âIâm sorry, Tara. I canâtâ I said apologetically. âYouâre going to be okay, baby girlâ.
She nodded and released me wiping her tears.
I turned to Siya, who was pacing nervously, her breathing shallow. âSiya, listen to me. I know you're anxious, but everything is going to be fine. Just focus on getting there with Tara. Once you land, youââ
I stopped mid-sentence as Siya suddenly gasped, clutching her stomach. My eyes widened as I saw the unmistakable wetness pooling at her feet.
âNoâ Siya whispered, shaking her head in panic. âOh God, no, no, no!â Her hands flew to her mouth, her entire body trembling. âGeetâŚâ
âSiyaâŚâ I breathed, my heart sinking. This couldn't be happening. Not now. I crouched down instinctively, checking her. âItâs your water, isnât it?â
She nodded frantically, tears spilling down her cheeks. âI canât⌠oh God, I canât⌠What are we going to do?â
The Tanoy crackled, announcing the final call for the flight to Morocco. Antara froze, her wide eyes darting between the boarding gate and us.
âAntara, you canât goâ I said shaking my head. I couldnât allow her to go by herself. Before there was going to be Siya.
âNo, no⌠Di I have toâ she said hesitantly and shook her head. âI have to go, diâ she urged clutching my hand.
Oh God! I wanted to scream, beg her to stay but the desperation in her eyes. She couldnât go back with me or Siya. Siddharth would probably âkidnapâ her today to ensure she didnât escape. This was her one and only chance.
I nodded slowly and hugged her once more. âGo. But make sure you email like we discussed so I know youâre safe. Keep your head low and this money should last a bit longer since Siya canât go nowâ I said.
She threw her arms around me and Siya one last time, whispering through her tears, âIâm sorry. I love you bothâ.
âGoâ I urged, pushing her gently toward the gate. âGo now, and donât look backâ.
She nodded quickly, her sobs quiet as she turned and hurried away, disappearing into the crowd. My heart twisted painfully, watching her go, but I couldnât let myself falter. I had to focus on Siya now.
âI canât go back, Geetâ Siya cried, grabbing my arm. âVivaan⌠Maan are going to kill me if they found out I planned all thisâ.
âShhâ I soothed, brushing her hair back. âI wonât let anything happen to you, I promise. But you canât board now. We have to get you to a hospitalâ.
She shook her head, her panic spiralling. âWhat if they find us before then? What if⌠â
âIâll handle itâ I interrupted, grabbing her hand. âI wonât let them find us here. Just trust meâ.
I flagged down a staff member, my voice calm but urgent. âSheâs gone into labour. We need a wheelchair and quick assistanceâ.
The staff acted swiftly, bringing a wheelchair and helping Siya into it. I kept a hand on her shoulder, reassuring her as they moved her to the car. I couldnât risk waiting for an ambulance; it would take too long, and I couldnât have anyone tracing it back to the airport. I had to get her out of here before Maanâs men arrived, or worse, before he did.
Once Siya was settled in the backseat, I climbed into the driverâs seat and started the car, my hands trembling slightly as I gripped the wheel. I forced myself to focus. There was no time for panic. I pulled out of the airport, driving as fast as I dared, my mind racing as I tried to figure out what to do next.
Behind me, Siya cried out in pain, her breathing erratic. âGeet, I canâtâŚoh God, I canât do thisâ.
âYou canâ I said firmly, glancing at her in the rear-view mirror. âYouâre strong, Siya. You can do this. Just breathe. Weâre almost thereâ.
But as I drove through the dark streets, the weight of everything pressed down on me. Antara was gone, finally free, but Siya and I were still here, still trapped in a world that would devour us if we made one wrong move.
And I knew, deep down, that the storm I had been dreading was about to come crashing down.
Vivaan
âTheyâre goneâ Siddharth growled over the phone. âGeet, Antara, and Siya. They drugged the guards and vanished. Your wife, your pregnant wife, betrayed us along with your sistersâ.
I couldnât speak, the words lodging in my throat like shards of glass. When the call ended, I simply stood there, staring at the phone, my grip so tight my knuckles turned white. Slowly, the anger began to seep in, burning through the numbness.
Siya.
She wasnât just my wife, she was carrying my child. My child. And now, she was out there, vulnerable and unprotected. A thousand horrific scenarios ran through my mind, each more unbearable than the last. What if my enemies found her first? What if she fell into the wrong hands? I dragged a hand down my face, the memories clawing their way back to the surface. Priya. The day she was taken, the moment I found out. The agony of knowing sheâd suffered before she died. The cold dread that had settled in my chest back then returned now, suffocating me.
I couldnât let that happen again, not to Siya and not to my child.
A bitter taste of betrayal coated my tongue as my mind raced. Geet, I had trusted my sister to keep them safe, yet she hadnât said a word to me. She was in on this and escaped with my wife and my sister, Antara. How could they have done this?
I had sent Hiten with them, thinking theyâd be safe. I had trusted Geet to ensure nothing went wrong. Instead, she had turned that trust into a weapon and used it against me.
And then there was Antara. Her escape was a direct threat to everything Iâd worked to hold together. If Arvind found out that sheâd slipped through our fingers, it would be a declaration of war. He wouldnât hesitate to retaliate, and with his resources, he could obliterate everything weâd built.
But this wasnât just about Arvind. My own family â my uncles, my underbosses would pounce on this opportunity like vultures. Theyâd already questioned my leadership, murmured doubts about my ability to lead the outfit. If they found out I couldnât even keep my wife and sisters in check, theyâd use it as fuel to challenge me. I clenched my fists, anger and fear warring within me. I couldnât let that happen. No one could find out.
I stood abruptly, pacing the room, my mind racing with calculations and contingencies. The priority was finding Siya first. The thought of her out there, exposed and defenceless, made my stomach twist painfully. I needed to get to her before anyone else did, before our enemies realised she was vulnerable. I couldnât and wouldnât let her face a fate like Priya. My heart ached as I thought of my late wife. I was too busy dealing with our enemies when theyâd broken in and kidnapped my wife. 3 days later, they sent back her mutilated remains. The thought of Siya and our child⌠No, I couldnât.
I would find Siya if it meant searching this world and tearing down cities, I would bring her back. I would protect her and our child, no matter the cost.
But this betrayal would not go unanswered.
I grabbed my phone and dialled my men. âI want every resource on this. Track their phones, check the airports, monitor the borders. I donât care how far theyâve gone! Find themâ I barked out orders.
âWhat about Arvind Khanna?â one of my men asked hesitantly.
I paused, my jaw tightening. âHe doesnât find out. Not a word. Weâll handle this internallyâ.
âYes, sirâ.
I hung up and leaned against the desk, taking a deep breath. My thoughts were a chaotic mess, anger at Geet and Antara, fear for Siya and the baby, and the suffocating weight of responsibility. This wasnât just a betrayal. It was a challenge, a test of my strength as a leader, a brother, and a husband. And I would prove to everyone, Arvind, my uncles, my underbosses, even to my own family that I was not a man to be crossed. Geet and Antara had only seen a brother bound by duty, overprotective, this time they will face a Capo.
I would find Siya. I would protect my child.
And I would remind everyone, even those closest to me, that betrayal had consequences.
Wonderful updates now wat will they do I don't think maan aur vivaan both ll look down on there duties it's a betrayal and they ll have to bear the consequences I guess waiting for next update eagerly
That was a great and such an intense update. It had my heart in my throat as I was reading. I knew they would be angry but this angry and feeling completely betrayed and perhaps never trusting loved ones again is so not good. I was even more nervous than Geet when reading. Oh dear Geet what have you done and to make things worse a part of her plan had to fail. Why did the baby have to choose the wrong timing? I guess with all the stress and nerves it was bound to happen. I canât wait for the next. Thank you!
Nice update. Both Geet and Siya in trouble Maan and Vivaan have found that all 3 are missing. Maan trust is broken. Vivaan is worried for his child.
