At the party....
Riya was having a great time playing with her friends Mickey mouse, Miney mouse, Goofy, and there were two Donald ducks too…
It was such a beautiful day with all the kids playing around along with our princess Riya….
The mini Disney Land came alive as the cute little Disney characters started to come in the evening…
Annie was running after Riya and helping her walk without tripping, in that outfit…
Everyone got into the mood and had become kids…
The oldies were enjoying the party equally like the kids, forgetting about their adult problems…
Pammy was happy to see her daughter enjoying herself after a long time….
But Maan was behaving abnormal at the party…. Yes, he became the ordinary from the extraordinary to everyone’s surprise…. And this was the actual surprise that shocked everyone, specially the Khuranas….
The MSK who remained detached from everything and everyone even if it was the angels from the heaven, finally lost to the Earthly angel…
Yes, the unconquered Prince who reigned the bachelor’s world was eventually conquered by the beauty of our humble Princess….
Maan was openly stalking Geet Handa…
Maan followed Geet Handa wherever she went, and his eyes were on Geet only….
Though it was Riya’s birthday party, the show stopper was someone else….
One must say that Geet Handa got the total attention of Maan Singh Khurana that evening …
Even Madan was surprised to see Maan interested in a girl.. Maan seldom showed interest in any fellow human, and here he was fully into someone, Geet Handa ka kamaal hi kuch aaisa hai…
Pammy knew that something was wrong with Maan then itself…
Maan has never shown any interest in anyone other than himself…
He is a self obsessed saint, devoid of any human emotions, except for his rare angry outbursts when his resilience is tested for the wrong reasons…
Maan is always in one mood, his dark colorless emotionless mood, only focused on himself and his work…
The only people he interacts with real affection is Annie and Riya….
There too his care and concern can only be felt in his actions, he is very poor in expressing his feelings, if at all he has any….
One can’t understand how he survives without any feelings for anyone, not even for himself…
People are of different types, some love children, some love animals, some love nature, some love their spouses, some love their parents, some love their favorite person, it maybe a movie star, a sportsman, a politician, a mentor, a guru of any kind, some love themselves more than anything in this world, and some love being loved by others…
Masn doesn’t belong to any of these categories, he is different, he is an anti-love warrior, not like the ones against Ishq wala Love… he is against any kind of love, for him to spend time in loving someone is a waste of human resource, instead of that one can use his energy in much better things like learning something new, honing one’s existing skills, and make yourself a better force in the universe…
Maan shields himself from the biggest epidemic of the human race, that is the love bug…
For Maan, if there was a Pandora’s box , then it had only one poison and that was love, love is the biggest curse on humans…
The problem with love is that, Love is never one-sided, one always expects the same amount or even more of it from the opposite side(Is the other person a bank or something like that, to return what you give with interest?)…
It is rather like, you yourself are exposing your weakness (yearning to be loved back) to the other person and letting them take advantage of it, and in the end you are obviously left hurt….
Maan is very clear about one thing, I don’t want your love and don’t expect the same from me too… you be happy with yourself and let me be happy with myself, it’s that simple, mutually exclusive relationships only work for him…
There’s always an exception in everything, and for Maan it is Annie…
Maan never expected this kind of love from Annie, but Annie showers him with that love of a sibling, love of a little sister, unconditionally, knowing very well that her love won’t be reciprocated the same way… she never expects animated expressive love and affection from him, she already knows that her brother loves her, that’s it… that’s more than enough for her…
Maan is used to protecting himself from unnecessary feelings that only hurt people, and he automatically wants to protect his sister too from that, for Annie has been hurt badly by this so called wedding of hers…
The only positive outcome of this wedding is Riya, Annie finds her happiness in her daughter and tries to come out of her miserable past by looking at her daughter and her future….
But they say love is as unpredictable as our life…
You never know when and from where you will be struck by the Cupid’s arrow…
People keep changing each passing day or even hour …
Our MSK has changed after a couple of decades… that’s the only difference….
When ordinary people change, you take it easily for that’s what you already expect from them, and when MSK changes its not that easy to accept…
That’s is what is happening in the Khurana family now…
Everyone has their own reasons to be worried about this huge change in Maan…
And the biggest question is, has Maan really changed or are they being deceived by this new love story which is over shadowing the real Maan for the time being….
What if his real personality reveals itself after the initial honeymoon period (or whatever it is called), is over?
Something definitely happened in that birthday party to turn Maan crazy…
But Pammy didn’t expect that Maan would drop such a big bomb in such a short notice…
Back to the Khurana Mansion….
Maan goes in search of Annie…
Maan reaches the garden where Annie is with her daughter Riya….
Maan: good morning, Riya
Riya comes towards Maan seeing him, Riya doesn’t like to stay at one place more than a minute, she is just unstoppable from the first time she started to take her baby steps….
Now she keeps running all the time….
Maan goes and takes her in his arms…..
Annie is feeding Riya and Riya has food spilled everywhere.
Annie: let her go, she will spoil your dress bhai
Annie knows that Maan is very particular with his looks and won’t accept even a tiny spot on this dress…
Pammy always complaints that they need a separate laundry for just Maan….
Maan: it’s OK. Let her do it. She has every right over her mamu, haina Riya?
Riya doesn’t understand a word and is only waiting for her chocolate….
Maan gives her favorite lollipop and she is so happy…
Maan: You know Annie, everybody is after me to get married
Annie is in total disbelief, is this her brother talking?
He seldom talks, but when he does, he means serious business and nothing unnecessary…
Annie just tries to hide her shock…
Annie: hmm I know bhai
Maan: but the only one that matter to me is you, so I thought I should talk to you first
Annie is again surprised that Maan is finally talking about marriage to her…
How would she know that the bride is her bestie? That’s why Maan has come to her…
But she’s happy that at least he has started to think about it ….
Annie: bhai, I’m waiting for my babhi for so long, I can’t wait any longer, either you choose your wife or I am going to choose my babhi myself and you have to accept her
Maan looks at her for a while and comes to the point directly….
Maan: I want miss Geet to be your babhi
Annie is confused now, what’s he trying to say?
Annie: Bhai, what am I hearing?
Annie doesn’t know if she should be happy for Geet or not, but she is really happy for her brother…..
Maan: you heard it right Annie, I want to marry Geet
Maan did meet Geet at the party, but they didn’t have such an interaction, or did they? Did Annie miss something?
Annie: What?
Annie is shocked and doesn’t know how to react….
Annie keeps looking at her brother in astonishment…
She couldn’t believe it, she didn’t expect that from her brother…
Maan knows that this should be a shocker for Annie too… actually it’s a bit of a surprise for himself….
Maan: but only if you are OK with it
Annie: I don’t know bhai, I need some time
Yes, she needs some time even to register what she just heard….
Shock pe shock? Maan wants to marry? That too Geet Handa se?
Annie knows her brother very well, he’s weird, though he is her brother… he’s full of mysteries, no one ever knows what’s in his mind, just like this wish of his from nowhere…
You never know what he can do, and he always does what he wants…
He’s his own boss and always follows his own ways…
But what about Geet?
She’s just a regular girl with her nonstop talking and a heart full of dreams…..
Annie should warn Geet first before Maan takes the next step and shocks Geet…
How will Geet react?, for it was so hard for even Annie to take it… Geet hardly knows Maan….
