Emotional update. So Geet father is behind the divorce. He did this only to shut the mouth of the society who were talking rubbish about Geet. Maan was not ready however finally he agreed. Now he is not ready to accept her as he has Lung cancer which is curable however the cells may recur. His father had the same hence he does not Geet to live the life of widow. Does his family know about his sickness.

So this is the reason for Maan to divorce geet

her father was the reason behind this. Yes he was not wrong from his pov. But was that really needed? Am sure Maan would have made her achievements all go only due to her. But fate through her dad intervened and separated them

but then looks like Maan got cancer. When did that happen?? Was it sudden? Does his mom know. Sure she will be devastated hearing this. And kabir and that family will somehow manipulate and make things happen to their end

so Maan is rude to her and makes her think genus still angry on her

of cos Geet was upset with Maan's behavior while he was upset for hurting her

Maan is indeed happy seeing Geet's progress

well Maan Maan wants Geet to live her life

not surprised that Maan is still in contact with Geet's dad

her dad is aware of everything

so that's the reasons for their divorce

Gosh that Maan has cancer

agree with Mohinder that Geet has a right to know

Mohinder had a valid point that cancer can be cured

ahh Maan does not want to play with Geet's life considering that his dad also died of cancer

the other reason for the divorce was on Mohinder's request

Geet feels that Maan is still angry with her

but she has no idea that her father faced such humiliation

from the people and that made him ask Maan to divorce Geet

hell now Maan is suffering from lung cancer and he feels it's best

that Geet moves on with her life .

Maan should somehow let Geet know of his illness and she can make that choice

Oh my god! Why is life so unfair to Maan, I mean lung cancer and with Geet dad parting him from her thats shook me, Geets dad wanted her to make her own name without Maans name being attached to hers because of what people said, he fell into society trap and now he is regretting parting Maaneet and Maan is in mess he has given up hope of living and only wishes the best for Geet he never wanted to divorce her on the first place, I like Geet wanting to clear up things with Maan even after all this and once she gets to know about his condition she wont leave him alone I know
