Dadi has got her brahmashtra ready, her own illness….

Dadi is not ready to get off the bed until Maan comes to meet her…. She is not going to the dinning for breakfast, she has ordered Nakul to bring it to the room itself….

Maan has strictly set the rule that food would never be served in Dadi’s room for Maan doesn’t want Dadi to stay confined in her room always….

Maan wants Dadi to freely roam in the mansion though she might be on her wheel chair, Maan has made a lot of alterations in the house just for that….

Dadi’s ego is too big to accept help, she is avoiding any maid to assist her and she is doing well on her own with the help of her fully automated wheel chair…

She doesn’t mind Maan or Annie lending a helping hand but not anyone else….

Maybe she would give that privilege to her bahu….

As per Dadi’s plan Maan comes to see her as she has not come to have breakfast with Maan…..

Dadi pulls her quilt up fast and pretends to be sleeping as she hears footsteps….

Maan: dadima, dadima

Maan just comes….

Maan: Dadi, aap abhi tak utte nahi?

Dadi: Maan, aap office nahi gaye?

Maan: kaise jaatha? Aap ne mujhe yahan bhulaya haina?

Dadi: what?

Maan: I know everything Dadi, just tell me, what’s the matter?

Dadi: I don’t think I can manage like this for long

Maan: hmm, you just found out now?

Dadi: Maan, aap hummare mazak udha rahe ho?

Maan: nahi Dadi, aap seedhe seedhe kaho aap kya chahthe ho?

Dadi: aap shadhi kyun nahi karthe bete?

Maan looks doubtfully at Dadi…..

Dadi: Maan, I’m serious

Maan: I don’t think that it could be the solution

Dadi: you are wrong Maan, that’s the only solution for all the problems

Maan looks disinterested….

Dadi: Maan, aap bas ek bar uss ladhki se mil lo, phir hum dekhenge ki aage kya karna

Maan remains silent…. He has told Dadima time and again that he is never going to marry again, but dadi is also equally stubborn to get him married somehow…

Maan has to do something drastic to make her realize that she is wrong, that it’s impossible for him to think about another girl…

Dadi: toh mein munshiji se baat karthi hoon, aap jaa rahe haina?

Maan is still not ready to commit anything…. He’ll have to think about another way to put an end to this….

Dadi: Maan, aap hummare liye ye bhi nahi kar sakthe? Aap ke marzi se hi sab kuch hoga, koi bhi zabarzasthi nahi hai bete, aap bas ye aakhri bar hummari baat manlo, iss ke badh hum shayad aap se baat kar na pathe?

Maan gets annoyed by dadi’s negative talks about her health….

Maan: aap ko jo karna karlo, lekhin dubara mere samne aaise batein nahi karna

So saying Maan leaves in a fury…..

Ye toh Maan ka dramebazhi hai, haina? Dadi toh kush hai ki unka kaam ho gayi….

Ab aage ka kaam toh Geet Handa aur Babaji sambal lenge….

Dadi ko pura yakheen hai ki Maan Geet ko dekhthe hi shadhi ke liye tayaar ho jayega….

Dekhthe hai ki kya hotha…….

Maan ne Dadi ke liye Hoshiarpur jaane ka faisla liya hai….

He knows it’s wrong to go meet a young girl, who is waiting for the love of her life, with a lots of marriage dreams, just to say no to the marriage…. It would be like, out right rejecting her….

Maan would never hurt someone without any reason…

But he has no other option…. Dadi toh Maan ke baat ko samajhne ke liye tayaar hi nahi hai…. Ek bar Maan shows his unhappiness, then Dadi will stop going after any other girl… it’s not the right way, but he needs to reject this first proposal so strongly that this would become the last proposal in the end…

Aur Maan ko maloom hai ki Handas bhi Dadi ko kabhi bhi na nahi kar sakthe…. Iss liye hi Maan ko kudh aana pada, usko patha hai ki ye rishta unse zabardasti karwa jaaraha hai….

Aaise mein Maan ko hi Darji ko kudh milke apne baat ko samjhaana padega….

Maan is guilty that maybe the girl is compelled by her family in order to maintain their long time relationship with the Khuranas….

So, Maan is going to meet darji and not the girl….

Maan can make Darji understand that Maan is not in any position to marry any girl, let alone his pothi, Geet Handa….

Maan sets on his journey to Hoshairpur not knowing that it’s the start of his new journey with Ms.Geet Handa…..

It’s refreshing to be out on the village roads driving among the lush green fields….

Maan is enjoying the ride looking at the scenic beauty of the sun kissed fields….

Suddenly a flock of sheep occupy the road and Maan has to pull over…..

Maan gets out to find the shepherd but there is no one nearby….

Maan tries to move then off the way by shoooing them….

But none of the animals listen to him…’

How dare these foolish sheep doesn’t obey MSK’s orders?

If it were someone at KC then that would have been the end of their career…..

But these are not his employees to follow his orders in fear…..

Maan picks a twig from a tree and tries directing them with that like a good shepherd…

But no, these Sheep don’t get any kind of acts that Maan tries….

Maan loses his cool, gets in the jeep and starts honking the horn to the maximum….

The flock is immovable….

Maan is frustrated and he gets off the jeep to push them off the road one by one by hand, as he puts his hand on one of them he hears someone laughing out loud….

It’s a young girl and Maan turns back to look at her….

She has hidden her face with her chunni….

Even then Maan couldn’t miss to notice the twinkle in her eyes as she keeps laughing merrily looking at his plight…..

That girl signals that he can’t move them whatever he may try……..

She is just laughing and signaling that nothing will work with the flock as he thinks, by waving her hands…..

Maan gets annoyed that he looks helpless in front of that stupid village girl………. He thinks it’s her flock….

Maan: pehle apne bakron ko hatao, diktha nahi ki ye sadak hai aur tummari baap ke kheth nahi?

She laughs even harder…..

Girl: bechare bakron ko kaise patha hoga ki ye aap ke baap ka sadak hai?

Maan is annoyed by her quirky replies….. Maan thinks she is very playful and she doesn’t understand the seriousness of his visit…. The whole world won’t keep grieving for MSK’s loss, people always find a way to happiness after every misfortune, which is what he has to learn…

Maan doesn’t want to be late for the girl’s family would then be preparing his welcome with a lot of anticipation….

Though it’s just a formal meeting of the boy and the girl, mostly it’s only done after the marriage is properly fixed with both the families along with their children know about each other and everything is up to their satisfaction, the girl’s family almost does a complete scanning of the boys character and personality, with the help of the private detectives, the common well wishers usually… by then the girl and the boy too get the time to decide if the other can fulfill their expectations and demands, and if both of the give a green signal, then they let the girl meet the boy in front of the family first, but only after they are 100,% sure that this is the boy for their girl…

Maan has neither shown any interest in the marriage nor the girl…

But here it’s different, Dadima used her influence to fix this relationship, and the Handas are doing this for their respect for Mr. Amarnath Khurana…

It has nothing to do with Maan, that’s why even after knowing about his past they have agreed to this proposal without any hesitation… they should have been thinking far ahead for they only believe Dadi and her word matters the most for them….

Maan doesn’t want to give them false hopes….

Maan doesn’t know what Dadi has conveyed them, dadi would have already started talking about the shadhi for sure…..

Maan did ask Munsiji to wait until Maan comes before speaking to the Handas…. he also knows that Dadi would have directly given the good news(?) of his visit to the Handas….

But Maan doesn’t know anything about the girl, and why the Handas are in a hurry to get her married to someone, they think their daughter is lucky to have got such a good proposal even after all the recent problems she encountered….

Maan ke paas iss ladhki ko pyaar se samjhane ka waqt kahan hai? So he uses the universal fool proof language of anger which gives quick results…. That he has learnt from his experience at KC…..

Maan: tummmm…. Tummare himmat kaise hui mujhse aaise baat karne ki?

Girl: aap ko himmat kaise hui hummare ghaav mein pher rakhne ki, mein kehthi hoon ki aap wapas chale jao, apne rashthe mein, yahan aap ka koi kaam nahi hai, samjhe?

Maan: kya bakwaas kar rahi ho? Pehle mere rashthe se apne bakron ko hatao, abhi

Girl: aap pehle apne bakwaas gadi lekhe apne rasthe chale jao

Maan: subhe subhe kaise pagal ke saath phaans gaya mein?

Gril: kaun pagal, aap pagal honge jo subhe subhe meri mood karab karne aagaye patha nahi kaise kadoos desh se?

Maan loses his control and catches hold of her and pulls her closer as he keeps staring her….

She doesn’t budge for that too…. She keeps staring him back…. Maan is new to such a heavy competition…..

Someone comes calling her: Geeeeeeeeet Geeeeeeet

Maan suddenly gets his hands off and frees her….

That girl runs from that place…..

The old man comes and apologizes for the trouble….

Actually he didn’t know how they got on the way which is unusual…

Maan knows whose hands are behind that, haina?

That man takes the flock away into the fields making way for Maan….

Maan thanks God that he escaped from that stupid girl not knowing that actually this stupid girl is the one he has come to reject…..

Maan goes to munshiji’s home…. Munshiji has gone out.. Maan can’t just go to the Handa home without prior notice… moreover they are now communicating through munshiji, for this shadi…

Maan is coming to Hoshiarpur after a long time….

The khurana’s have stopped visiting their farm after his dadaji left it in the care of the Handa family….

Maan remembers coming there with his dadaji when he was a little boy…

They had quite often visited the Handas to have a meal whenever they stayed at their farmhouse for the weekends…

Most of the times it would only be Maan and dadaji for Maan was close to his dadaji and he used those trips to escape from his boring tuition classes, that masterji didn’t even spare him on weekends… poor Maan…

Dadi was so worried about the children’s studies after their parents left them that she hired a masterji permanently to take care of their studies…

That masterji used to stay at the OH and kept torturing Maan and Annie all the time…

Maan would look for every opportunity to escape from him…

Maan was more interested in practical knowledge for he closely followed his dadaji to learn his business acumen…

That’s one of the important reasons for his business success at a very young age…

Maan spends some time at the fields and the shades of the mango groves, chilling and watching the birds, his favorite time pass…. Thanks to his jungle camps…

Then he retires in the farmhouse after Munshiji requests him to stay there till they can go meet the girl in the evening, after the stroll around he automatically falls asleep …

With his eyes closed he could see the morning incident playing again in his mind…

This time Maan’s attention is fully on the girl and those captivating eyes…

Her childish unadulterated laughter keeps ringing in the background….

She is a child woman at the dusk of her adolescence ready to welcome her adulthood…

For a moment Maan wishes that at least she could stay back in that beautiful worry free stage of her life for a little longer until she is also drawn into the puddles of adult life…

A soulful melancholy from a distant lonely bird brings Maan back to the real world…

Maan looks at his watch and finds out that it’s time to meet the Handas…

Maan decides to go finish the job(?) earlier so that he could return to Delhi that night itself and get back to business as usual…

Maan then goes and picks up Munsiji and they go to the Handa home to see Ms.Geet Handa, nahi nahi darji……..

Wow!

What a thrilling update...

Maan and Geet meet but both of them are unaware of what lies in store for them, courtesy Dadimaa and Handa family's antics!

Hope Maan doesn't return to Delhi the same night...

Geet should sing maybe.

So Maan would get attracted and want to find out more about her...

Maan already feels for the girl with the flock...

Geet makes her entrance as a playful , happy girl who finds this stranger’s antics amusing

Their interactions are funny

They both are unaware of each other’s identity

Irked maan finally starts to argue ...... loved their quarrel 👍🏼
