Tssk I'm rewriting this but oof I miss GHSP so much. I *LOVED* how the show focused on the 2 leads and just let their actions speak for their words. No unnecessary drama , just Maan, Geet and their emotions. It was such a well developed story.
I have gone back to some old interests I liked and realized I don't like them as much anymore but yo, I re-watched GHSP and it is still brilliant.
The bg music, the feels of this show. *sigh*
Like come on! This show had at 1st started with marriage but it didn't go the typical route. It became so much more.
After GHSP I have never enjoyed a drama as I enjoyed GHSP.
For me what will always set GHSP apart is how is just focused on Maan and Geet, saw them as the adults that they were. They were in charge of their life. And Geet worked. And she even quit that job.
And I'm sure Geet was brilliant, feelings that Maan hadn't realized apart, the fact that he kept her as his secretary and not immediately fire was just the indication that Geet was good.
Geet never shied away from putting Maan in his place, even though he was her boss at 1st.
AND Geet apologized for slapping Maan. I cannot say how much I LOVED that part.
It is terrible that Star One doesn't exist anymore but hats off to them for letting such a beautiful story properly develop.
At the end I would just like to say that even though I was heartbroken when GHSP ended (literally cried that day *sigh*), I'm glad it ended the way it did...ish.
I'm super glad the makers didn't k!lled M&G or make them go through some leaps.
GHSP would've ended someday and it was a good ending.
AND
I'm also glad there was never a season2
Some magic, some chemistry, some power of brilliant writing can't always be recreated. I'm not sure but it could've gone wrong it would've taken away or -tainted- the fond memories we have of GHSP.
This was my post on missing GHSP
I had written more in my last post but it accidentally got deleted so you all got my half baked thoughts.
Till next time!!
