suddenly fire spreads and Geet is caught in the middle

why is it that she screamed to Maan to leave her there

so she can die

was it because she was scared or is there something in her past

that frightens her

Maan would not hear anything from Geet and rescues her

There are both reasons for her reacting like that. Obviously she cared for him first, she never wanted him to get hurt in saving her when she has always pushed him away ruthlessly..
