Dear Friends,
Hi!
My FF “STREE” is more focused on the ‘story than romance’. There is romance but its latent (underlying) rather than overly apparent. As its a story based FF all characters are as important as the leads. Therefore each and every update will not have Maan and Geet together in the update. Also, Maan and Geet maynot even be present in the update. But story will be focussed primarily on Maan and Geet but from other characters’ point of view (POV). I will not be able to fulfill your request as well of making the leads meet as the story is inspired by a mythological story! Therefore, kindly only read the story if you are comfortable with this concept as well Hindu mythological references otherwise please be patient and wait for my other stories updates!!
Thank you!

CHAPTER 4
ALL THE NAMES & PLACES ARE FICTITIOUS . Any royal titles, MEDICAL PROCEDURES, MEDICAL TERMS, MILITARY PROCEDURES, MILITARY TERMS, Punjabi terms, architectural terms, IT terms & programs, office hierachy, wedding rituals, etc. There also maybe some HINDU MYTHOLOGICAL references but they all are from my imagination hence THEY ARE NOT TRUE. If any resemblance to persons, places, events and stories it is purely coincidental! It has FANTASY (totally untrue) undertones to it. KINDLY READ IF ONLY COMFORTABLE!!!
ALL THE PHOTOGRAPHS DOWNLOADED DO NOT BELONG TO ME BUT BELONG TO THE ORIGINAL UPLOADER. I HAVE JUST USED THEM AS THEY GO WITH MY STORY!
Next morning, dawned bright and early. As it was early morning, Rajkumari Rajlakshmi (Geet) was allowed to go to Mahadev & Mata Parvati’s temple inside the palace premises. Yuvraj Madhav Rao wanted to do his weekly prayers and therefore was looking for a Mahadev’s temple. He was guided by the gaurd on duty towards Mahadev’s temple as well as the garden next to it from where he could obtain flowers for the prayers.
NEXT DAY MONDAY MORNING
Location: TEMPLE PREMISES, KINGDOM OF KSHITIJA
When Maan and Rudra entered the temple, prayers were already going on. There were primarily young girls and youngwomen present. The Shiv Stuti in praise of Lord Shiva was being sung in a very melodious voice,
“Namami shamishan nirvana roopam………”
(Serial : Devon ke Dev Mahadev)

The melodious voice was reminding Maan of the girl in the charity function as well as the sweet voice of Rajkumari (Princess) Rajlakshmi. But Maan was surprised that the shlok’s pronounciation were clear, correct and crisp. Maan was certain that the Shiv stuthi was being sung by Rajkumari Rajlakshmi (for whom the “swayamvar” was being organised) but he wasn’t sure. Maan was restless to see Rajkumari Rajlakshmi who was considered a great beauty. Sensing his presence and his glaze on her back the main singer turned and Maan’s world froze.
Standing there was none other than the girl he met at the charity function. How long the girl and Maan stared into each others eyes they both didn’t recollect.
Rudra and Paro were equally stunned to see their respective elder sibling behaving in this strange manner. But before Maan could approach the girl, Maharaj Gajendra came in between two of them with his hand out stretched. “Yuvraj Madhav Rao aur Rajkumar Rudra Pratap, aap dono ka Kshitija mein swagat hai. Asha hai aap dono ki yatra sukad rahi hogi?” (Yuvraj (Crown Prince) Madhav Rao Rajsinghania and Rajkumar Rudra Pratap, we welcome you the kingdom of Kshitija. I hope your journey was comfortable!)
“Ji Maharaj.” (Yes Your Highness!) Both Maan and Rudra greeted Maharaj with folded hands and then touched Maharaj’s feet.
“Chiranjeevi bhav!” (Be Prosperous!) Maharaj Gajendra blessed both the brothers. “Aayiye aapka parichay hum apne parivaar se kara dein.” (Please come I’ll introduce you to my family.) Moving towards his wife he said, “Yeh hain humari ardhangini aur Kshitija ki Rani, Maharani Bhagyashree.” (This my wife and Queen of Kshitija, Maharani (Queen) Bhagyashree.)
Maan and Rudra greeted Maharani with folded hands and she blessed them with “Jeete rahiye” (Have a long life!) Maharaj then introduced the two Princes to Kumudini and Priyamvada as his niece and youngest daughter respectively. Then Maharaj approached his second daughter, “Yeh hain humari dusari beti Rajkumari Parvati. Inhein samaaj seva ke prati atyadhik ruchi hai.” (This is my second daughter, Rajkumari (Princess) Parvati. She has lost of interest in social work.)
Rudra was standing stunned & frozen, and same was the position of Paro. Both of them were oblivious to the world. Maan nudged Rudra softly thereby breaking Rudra’s trance as Maharaj Gajendra was moving ahead to introduce his next family member. Maharaj came at last towards a young girl whom Maan had met at the charity function who was standing still holding the prayer arti thaali in her hands. Maan felt that her face had a divine and spiritual look maybe due to flame of puja diya or maybe due her inner spirituality! “Yeh humari jesth putri Rajkumari Rajlakshmi Geeteshwari Ranawat hain. Aap inke hi “swayamvar” ke liye yahaan padharen hain, Yuvraj.” (This is my eldest daughter, Rajkumari (Princess) Rajlakshmi Geeteshwari. Its her “swayamvar” that you have been invited for.)
Maan nodded gave appropriate response without conscious effort as he was stunned by Rajkumari Rajlakshmi’s beauty and grace seeing her standing so close to him. Looking at Geet Maharaj said, “Raj, yeh hain Ramgarh ke bhaavi Maharaj (heir), Yuvraj Madhav Rao Rajsinghania aur unke anuj (younger brother) Rajkumar Rudra Pratap Rajsinghania.” (Raj this is future heir to the Kingdom of Ramgarh, Yuvraj (Crown Prince) Madhav Rao Rajsinghania and his younger brother, (Prince) Rajkumar Rudra Pratap Rajsinghania.)
Geet bowed her head in greeting as she held a thali in her hands. “Yuvraj Madhav Rao aur Rajkumar Rudra Pratap, aap aaj kyun nahi humare saath puja-archana………?” (Yuvraj (Crown Prince) Madhav Rao Rajsinghania and Rajkumar Rudra Pratap, why don’t you join us for the morning prayers?) Maharaj Gajendra was about to request when Rajkumari Rajlakshmi subtly murmured something in Maharaj’s ears, then gracefully tilted her head down in curtsey so that she can leave from their royal guests presence. Rajkumari Rajlakshmi along with her mother, sisters and other ladies of her family left the temple. Maan was impressed by her elegance, royal etiquette as well as manners.
Later in the day, first phase of “swayamvar” started. All the prospective grooms i.e. Kings, Crowned Princes and Princes were given the copy of the original map. Maan was not only the first one to find the access to an old an ancient room of the palace on the map but he also went in person with Kshitija’s ministers and showed them where the room was actually located. Kshitija’s ministers were at first surprised and then extremely elated as this room was suppose to hold part of the treasure of the Kshitija’s Palace. After being profusely thanked by Kshitija ministers. Maan was on his way back to his room, when he heard slightly raised voices coming from far end of the corridor to the room where he was seated to study the map.
