Gurmeet always showed his versatility be it in bollywood or Tellywood his every character is different from his previous one, regarding strong character be it Ranveer or Captain Dagar his choice of characters is always great, in khamoshiyan without jaidev nothing make sense even in wajah Ranveer is master mind, Veer was a beautiful strong character and Dagar is highlight of his bollywood career.
Characters are different I agree..but the impact!First impression is always the best!!And his 1st choice of movie is not soo good...can see clearly that they have just used him for his popularity..as Hira di said even the costar Alifasal said they used him for popularity...I still I remember the trend #LoserAliFasal when he said such things abt Guru!Character is important and defn its impact too...but the story line should be the best too!!BW uses actors from TV just to use their popularity!Thats what I hate the most...just using their talents in the wrong way..not just with GC it has been the case of many TV actors!And more importantly want to see him as the main lead..he can do it..but getting to see him as side character is really disappointing for me...
There is no harm in doing events if you dont want to watch dont see it simple. Performing at new year bash or any event is surely not wrong it's a way to be between fans it's an opportunity for fans who want to see him meet him, just becoz his some fans don't want it that doesn't mean it's wrong. Regarding tiktok videos he made such beautiful simple decent videos even he need break from his hectic schedules. He is not forcing you to see them.
Doing event/party is not the problem but mainly do that alone is the problem.In my pov he isn't meant for this...I wanna see him become a big star and want him to get prestigious awards...not dancing at sm party events/tik tok!!Doing such dances is not gonna get him more fans...but if the same work if he put in sm cameo work means that would have been different!

Copying dancing steps have you ever heard about tributes and hook steps. Even in awards if some actor is performing on someone else song they use hookstep as it's the identity of that particular song. Gurmeet have developed himself from non dancer to a dancing sensation.
