Part 27

Maan stood behind her and inhaled her sweet honey scent to his heart's consent, his heart and body instantly reacting to her aroma. His heartbeat skyrocketing realizing how much he missed her in this one month without her around him, without her naive cute innocent antics, without her touch, kiss.. everything about her made him crave for her so badly that he couldn't even understand what's happening around him, the past two months had been very difficult and tough for him. The words he uttered before her were more hurtful and agonizing for him more than her, it felt that he could just remove all her pain and take it on himself when he found her trashing on her bed with pain and nightmares!! Yes he always watched her go to sleep from his balcony and when he was sure that she was asleep he could pull her towards himself and she in his warmth would sleep soundly. He fought a sudden urge to claim her when she and Kartik were so close together. Can he see her with another man? Can he watch her get married to the other?? Can he handle himself when she kiss... NOOO Maan reckoned and As if a Possessive mode was switched on he removed her struck bracelet and turned her around roughly making her gasp.

He fisted his hands on the back of her neck pulling her towards him and smashed his lips on hers firmly making her eyes widen. He moved his lips on her hard and fast as if he was making a claim on her lips saying this petal belong to him and only him. He cradled her cheek with the other caressing her jawline and tilting her head to get more access to her mouth. Geet suddenly melted in his arms closing her eyes enjoying his warmth and touch.

Maan groaned when he felt her moving her lips slowly and softly, she was nothing before him when it comes to passion. Her Naive touch would arouse him like no other. She didn't even have an ounce idea what her single touch was does to him. She was breathing heavily tugging his collar, realizing she was going breathless he removed his lips and rested them on her jawline making her breathe harshly. He nuzzled his head on the crook of her neck, inhaling her sweet scent. He peppered feathery light kisses on her neck.......

"W-what are y-you doing"? Geet stuttered and pushed him, Maan came out of his trance and looked at her with wide eyes. He cursed himself when he realized that it was all a dream!!!!, Did he become such a lovesick puppy that he was yearning to kiss her touch her? Maan thought mentally and cursed loudly DAMNN

" Hmmm, I see that you have moved on too fast? Don't you think so?" Maan said composing himself and looking at her with a cold stare.

"What?" She didn't get him. He moved more close, His lips inches away from her.

"YOU, Moved on from me and you are getting Engaged!!!! I have thought with all the love and Drama you did past month. I believed That it's quite difficult for you to move on, But now look at you All ready to Get Engaged? " He mocked with a smirk on his face.

"S-so you believe that what I did to save you and your business was all a drama?? My l-love for you was an a-act?" Geet choked feeling a lump in her throat by his cold words, She was highly hurt by his words, How can he just say her love was Fake?

"Yes," Maan's eyes immediately softened for a second when he felt raw emotion pass through her eyes. But he quickly regained his cold stare.

Geet immediately pulled him towards her by his collar feeling enraged.

"MY LOVE WAS NEVER FAKE !! IF AT ALL IT WAS YOU WHO ACTED AS IF YOU LOVED ME !!" Geet yelled at him clutching his collar tightly with tears brimming her eyes, Maan's eyes enlarged looking at her pure anger, it was his first time to see her this angry.

"It was you who made me believe in love, How painful it can be to be, I don't think I can love anyone anymore, I don't think I can trust anyone..." Geet mumbled feeling all her energy drain off and go unconscious before she reaches the ground Maan clutched her tightly in his arms, He cursed himself for putting her in this state and hurting her like this but he has no options he had to make her hate him!!

Geet was resting on his bed, private room beside the Cabin, She frowned in her sleep slowly getting up and looking around. She immediately knew it was his cabin private room. Geet Got up with her stomach growling, she heard heavy footsteps entering into the room, knowing who it was she looked at the wall.

"You are awake, you skipped your breakfast?" Maan asked Geet remained quiet.

"You should eat" Maan said placing the chicken soup, toast, and eggs on the Table. Geet remained quietly. Maan sighed grabbing the bowl and Sitting on the bed beside her. He picked the spoonful of Soup and brought it to her mouth, Her mouth remained shut.

"Please Geet.." Maan pleaded looking at her Pale face, His heart thudding painfully looking at her broken form. Hearing him she looked at him and opened her mouth letting him feed her.

After she ate both got out of the room with someone knocking on the door

"Come in" Maan said.

Kartik immediately rushed towards Geet and Hugged her.

"Tum tik ho?" Kartik asked Geet cupping her face making her uneasy. Geet nodded, from the corner of her eyes she could see maan fisting his hands glaring at kartik soon a thunderous voice boomed in room.

"Mr kartik I don't allow any affairs in my Office So keep your hands to yourself" Maan's cold voice made Kartik to remove his hands swiftly. He knew about Maan and Geet so he shut his mouth.

"Next time I don't want you behaving like this in my office, Why are you here!?" He asked again.

"Sir I came here to drop Geet to her home.."

"No Need... I will..." Before Maan could say anything Katrina barged in her cabin and hugged Maan tightly.

"I missed you so much" Saying this she kissed him on Maan's cheek Making Geet Look at both of them blankly.

Thank you for the great update. I’m glad she is getting engaged to Kartik, after all he should have a taste of his own medicine. If poor Geet has to endure him with Katrina, then he should too. So he wants her to hate him as he feels she will only get hurt being with him, so he is now engaged but he is angry that she can even think of moving on. If I was Geet, i’d hug Kartik very tight and give him a kiss on his cheek..... lol.
