Annoyed. Second reaction. Why? Like button will not work! Very mad.

Coming to the story. OK I thought my heart would stop when I read "Maan Bhaiya". OMG

But my heart truly skipped a beat when Maan hit Geet. That was bad! Completely not acceptable. Whatever the circumstances.

I love the advice Geet got from her Nilesh bhai. Brilliant. He did not point the finger at Geet and he did not excuse Maan. And cherry on top, he made Geet realize that the others were not truly her friends.

Having Maan apologize on his own, shows he knows he made a mistake.

Looking forward to reading more pls!

Poor geet, she was wrong for lying at maans mother but using a younger child and then drop everything on her was also wrong..

Its good that nilesh managed to explain something to her.. because her parents were not there and she needed help to understand the world....

Maan asking for sorry is shocking... He even waited outside her class... Is he going somewhere?? What happened to him??

Hunh! A new story and that too well written and realistically captured from everyday life on a forum that I thought was long dead! Clearly, random, time pass surfing does yield good results on occasion :-). When the Geet show was on, there were so many good writers who had the time and energy and enthusiasm to complete their FFs. After a few years, that interest started leeching out of the talented story tellers and as a result, I no longer wanted to feel so invested in and disappointed by stories that were left incomplete :-(. Perhaps, this one will be different. I am going to give it read.

Dear writer. My humble request. I hope your muse and enthusiasm does not evaporate half way through this story.

Ch 1: Nice start. well described, every school day, morning routine played out across score of cities with children piled into rickshaws, autos,...Es Meera -- very clever play of words :-).

Ch 2: father in law making ladoos for his dil! Isn't that rather unusual? But, I like the sound of it. These blurring of gender specific roles are welcome changes in society.
