Just a thought..... Don't mind it plz!

When Geet was on-air... 2010-2011...even a few years after that too... There used to be many popular writers in GF... Who gave us some of the most beautiful, heart touching & excellent/brilliant stories of maaneet. Which are impossible to forget ever, just like the original show.

I would like to repeat here.... Don't mind it please... It's a thought that makes me wonder all the time... Why is it so....

Okk... So that thought is...

Why those writers never demanded for likes n comments? I used to be a reader than so I can tell... They never asked for it.

I remember a few of them... Who were super fast in updates too... Like every morning you open GF and you will get the fresh update...they were that fast!

That too without any demands. They never shifted there work from GF... In mid... Nor any "password protected" Term I noticed in those days.

Why?

But then, I don't know what happened suddenly..,...

PS: again same request... Don't mind it plz!!

As a reader I agree with you but as writer some point am not agree writing not easy job I came to know after becaming writer so many thoughts coming together and you have to sit for hours in front of pc or laptop to types those updates

What goes if readers appreciate writer works in words and you know when you gave back to back updates and sending pms to 50 peoples but get only two or three readers response it's hurt

Before moving to blog they gave time to their readers so if anyone busy they told them

not to forget geet stories started copying in other forum so writer has to save their hardwork they moved it from here

Your points are valid

And I agree that writing isn't an easy job... And sending PM's are pain too.

Still the writer used to perform both these works then too.

But the question is... Why reader used to respond without asking for it or in other words... When there was no complaining from writers side?

The presence of active n silent readers was known to all, that time too.

And I want to clear one thing.... I am not taking anyone side here...

All the hard works must be appreciated! No doubts in that!

That times forum has many members I guess now fans dividedor moved on to another show only genion fans or reader here

New members came but they also left seeing less activity we can't bound others

Totally agree with your point, even I felt the same, although I can resonate with the writers problems as well and with the changed audience.. a low response is a mood killer and a huge let down fr writers.. the forum is atleast better now ... a couple of yrs ago there were writers who used to give some likes quota & all and unless they get certain number of likes they wouldn’t update.. hmmm🤷🏻‍♀️!

All said and done both readers and writers here have to understand that its a mutual thing.. you update regularly people will automatically respond if they like a story! And if you comment regularly writers would obviously Be happy and want to update their stories... so yeah, that’s that. I’m done with my 2 cents 😳

I agree with you and that writers need motivation but some people are very bad in expressing them selves like me. I am very bad in words so it’s very difficult for me to comment every time.

But the people still sticking around this forum are genuine Maaneet fans who don’t want to let go of our beloved pair.

Thanks to all the amazing writers who are keeping Maaneet alive for fans like us. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hmm.. Right!

Around 2013... I too tried my hand at writing... And I got both active n silent readers.... Like other writers.

And as silent readers were never pushed much, to respond more, to experss themselves in words.. Instead of only pressing the "Like Button".... They were consistent in their work of pressing the button.... That's what I feel.

But when started the pressure of replying in words as they like any story.... They thought the better way was not to make their presence known by "Liking" It. Why not instead just read it and go.... That way no one will force you to reply.

It's been 6 years... And this is the only reason I can think for the decrease in the enthusiasm to like any story.

That's what both needs to understand. You can't force anyone. Even if you are successful, it won't give you a genuine response.

You can't force a writer to write any story just cause you want to read it. Similarly, you can't force a reader to give you a genuine response, until he wants to.

We have all seen, what these things have resulted into.... Readers just for the sake of commenting would repeat the highlights of the updsates... That too word to word... And I am sure that kind of reply wouldn't give you the satisfaction a writer seeks for.
