Not everyone is good with words. Comparing to a few readers/ members who are capable of viewing the maaneet stories in all sorts of different and deeper ways... I too am not good in commenting... I am sure they put a lot of efforts in giving that kind of response to their favorite stories. It is as much a hard work as writing the story.

Having said that...

I can assure you that... Until you start something... You would never know, the extent you can go into it. First time/ first try is always going to be difficult. That's the thing am sure has happened with all the readers and writers, we have here.

I never thought/expected, I would comment on any story.. But I did.

I never imagined, I would, write any story ever in my life! But I did! It happened.

Understand I am also face difficulties in early days of reading but now I am used too

Just wrote it what you feel in heart is not need to gives long comment just few words

Geet aired from April 2010 to December 14, 2011 and I joined the forum on July 2011. I didn't even know what were fictions and how to comment and like but I learnt and it was not always one word or long page of comment but the words used to express what I liked. Be it in hindi or English.

Writers never expect a long page of comment but they just want the reader to write what they liked in the update.

I don't think it is something big that people can't write.

Frankly speaking writers write because they love maaneet and readers read for the same love but there has to be a two way relationship.

If I am choosing my ten readers who are reading and expressing themselves then it is fine by me because they know my schedule and I can rely on them.

Second it helps in protecting the work. Lately works are plagiarised.

Writers need motivation and after spending some hours or days on story I don't think if they demand that readers should respond it is not a crime

There are some readers whose IDs are dated back to 2011 or 2010 and they are still newbies. Within a span of 8-9 years they didn't get some words to express for the fictions they read.

This type of ignorance will definitely affect the forum.

Regarding incomplete stories

I agree that writers shouldn't leave them incomplete. Even I have so many incomplete stories and I will definitely give the summary if I cannot complete them.

You said right but every coin has two sides.

As a reader i understand this but when you think from other end.

We don't have mannet now who provide us with motivation just few memories are their which we all try to keep alive through reading so many stories.

About conditions think from other point of view a person sit for hours work on a thing after a long hectic schedule so don't he/ she deserve some words from readers?

I agreed they don't write for others but for themselve no one force them to post a story. But at some point of time you feel tired, demotivated and helpless.

Why are we here?

Not just because we love mannet but we find here solace too after having hectic schedule at home / college / office.

Other than this no one force readers to post long comments.

Just express what they like or if they can't do this they can post at least nice?

Good, bad anything they feel no one pressurize them for long comments.

A few years back I made a thread about this issue... I suggested the silent readers that they should come forward and comment on stories.... They can say what they feel... Or mention the things they like in the updates... Okk.. That's how they can participate...instead of being silent..

But then came a phase when there was a demand of "no one word comments" And " No summery of the update" They used to say, it wont be counted! Hence more trouble in already complicated equation of readers and writers.

With that thread that I made... I did got few new friends here... And many silent members turned active gradually. And some of them who were long time newbies.... Did promoted their ranks too.... So much that they even left me behind in the race.. ☺
