Gullam chapter 2
Their journey has started where it's going to end no one knows...what is written in their fate only God knows
Savitri Devi was sitting on seats near the door ...maan was on window side seat and still sleeping while placing his head on her lap
(Me thinking itna sab ho gya ab tak utha hi nhi ye bacha...ok back to the story)
She was looking outside the window ... caressing maan's head and thinks about their life...which had changed in just few hours
After some time maan woke up and look around at his surroundings and asked
Maan : dadi maa ye hum kaha hai...Mai toh ghar pe tha...aur hum ye kaha ja rhe hai...(he said after looking outside where all objects were seen moving)
Savitri: maan bete hum kahi dur jaa rhe hai...kuch bad people Na humare Ghar aa gye the aur ja nhi rhe...toh wo people Hume kuch kare hum hi un bad people se dur ja rhe hai
He thought for a minute and then said very slowly
Maan : dadima wo bad people uncle aunty hai na
She gasped after hearing him and then asked
Savitri : apko kaise pta...un dono ne apko kuch kaha . Ya apke sath kuch Kiya
Maan nods and said
Maan : wo aunty bohot bad hai dadima...jab aap nhi hoti thi wo mujhe khane k liye bhi nhi deti thi aur uncle ne mujhe maara bhi
Savitri : ohh mere bache...( She take him in her embrace...tear started flowing from her eyes ) (maan come out from her embrace and wipe tears from her cheeks)
Maan : aap cry mat Karo dadima...ab toh waise bhi hum dur ja rhe hai Na ...ab wo log Hume hurt nhi kar payenge...she nodded and again take him in her embrace
Bus stop at the outskirts of Delhi ... a small dhabha was there ...many people were getting down ...they also got down to eat something...she take her bag in one hand and holds maan's hand in other hand and instructs him to never leave her hand ... It was a morning time so the dhabha was serving hot tandoori parantha... She ordered one plate of aaloo prantha without chilis and curd after eating they were going to climb the bus her ears got alert when she heard a man's voice who was saying
" Is dadi pote ko kisi bhi haal Mai dhundna hai...ek Baar humne in dono ko dhund liya... Sanjay Saab humari Jeb noto se bhar den ge"
She gasped knowing that they're talking about them only it means they got to know that they escaped and even hired a goons to find them...
Then instead of climbing the bus she ran from there ... holding maan's hand ...maan was asking her many questions like why they're running ...why they're not in the bus...but she didn't answered ...just ran ...
She reached the main road while running but she didn't stopped and keep on running ...she stopped when she was going to hit by the bike ...but the rider press the breaks on time and yelled " aee budiya pagal hai kya...kaha main road pe bhage aa rhi hai "
Savitri : please please humari madad kijiye (she said while panting)(then the rider noticed her condition and then looked at the little maan who was also panting...he park his bike on side and then make her calm and asked)
Rider : ab batao baat baat kya hai ...then she told him that some people want to kill her and her grandson
Savitri : please humari madad kijiye ...she said while joining her both hands and also said...ya aisi koi jagha bta dijiye jaha hum dono safely reh sake
That rider thought for a seconds and said
Rider : ha ek jagha hai jaha koi apka koi kuch nhi bigad Sakta ... bheravgarh...U.P Ka ek chota sa Gav (village) hai ...itna Chota hai ki nakshe(map) Mai tak nhi milega...wahaa ap log safe reh sakte ho ...par
Savitri : par ...par kya she asked
Rider : bheravgarh koi independent Gav nhi hai jaha koi bhi apni marzi se aa Jaye...waha government Ka rule nhi chalta ...waha sirf ek insaan Ka rule chalta hai jinhone us Gav ko banaya ...us Gav k maalik ... mohinder handa... Aka thakur saab bheravgarh k raja hai ...unhi Ka raaj chalta hai ...waha koi police station nhi koi government office nhi ...ha Panchayat hai ...jiske sarpanch bhi thakur saab hi hai ...aap padi likhi lagti hai bataiye reh payegi aisi jagha...
Savitri : ha ...rehlungi ...mere liye abhi koi cheez important nhi hai sivaiye mere pote ki Jaan k ...yahi hai meri family...aur mai use kisi bhi kimat pe bachana chahti Hu
Rider : hmm toh theek hai Mai apko waha le jata hooon ...Mai bheravgarh Mai hi rehta hoon job k liye shehar ja rha tha ...baithiye Mai apko waha le chalta hoon...he started his bike .then he make maan sit in front and savitri sit on back and brooom
During the ride she asked his name which he replied 'Ajay'
They reached the behravgar which was looking like all other village...then Ajay stopped his bike near a big haveli ...they got down from the bike and enter the haveli ...there she see a large living which was looking like a old movie set .. as the interiors were antique ...and then she see a man looking in his forties sitting on a antique couch look like a throne and instructing some men
He must be mohinder handa she thought
They reached near him and then Ajay do all the talking...and tell him about their situation and then take his leave
Now they're alone with him in the big living room
Mohinder : kaha se aaye ho ...he asked
Savitri : ji Delhi ..she answered
Then he tell her that she have to work for his wife who's now pregnant with their first child...then his wife enter the hall... savitri got shocked after looking at his wife...as his wife is very much beautiful , and was looking not more than 25.. there's huge age difference between his wife and him...the one can tell just by looking at them..
He further tell her that this is not enough...he wants maan...he want maan to become his slave till he wants...she got shocked after hearing his that conditions and clearly refused to do so but after hearing his next set words
Mohinder : theek hai jao fir wapas Delhi aur dekho Apne pote ko Apne aankon k samne marte hue
That line tricked her and she agreed with heavy heart as now they don't even have any place where they can go ...this the place where they can live safely
At that time she didn't knew that watching her grandson become a slave was going to be more difficult than watching his dead body
And only good thing he did by agreeing with her request for letting maan study...and now look what he have achieved...he conquer the whole world ...and what she did...she was not even able to take him out of this slavery...she cursed herself remembering that one day...which changed her whole life
