Part-1
It was her wedding day. Today she was getting married to her fathers friend's son. No it wasn't a love marriage nor did she knew him. It was a marriage that she was doing for the sake of her father's happiness. She remembered the day when she came to tell her father that how much she loved Maan n found her father having a heart attack due to some business problem. Geet was numb n shattered but this was just the start, the most painful moment was yet to come when her father got his conscious back all he asked her was to get married to his friend's son because he wanted to see her happy n seeing the critical condition of her father geet couldn't deny him. That day something died in her because she knew that her one yes will bring a life long happiness for her father but a lifelong pain n hurt for maan and her.
And today she was here sitting as a bride all set to get married to the man whom her father selected for her.she just got up lost in her thoughts and moved towards her fathers room to meet him once before going down as a bride ,but stood shocked at the door seeing what was going on. Their was her father taking a check from the groom and discussing that how this marriage will now boost his business. And how it was difficult to make geet agree but thanks to the heart attack drama that she agreed to marry him without any doubt. Geet was beyond shocked. The pain n hurt of her own father ditching her was soo numbing that all she could think was that how can a father sale his daughters happiness just for the sake of his happiness n business expansion. Gosh what have I done, for this lie I have broken maan's heart no no I can't do this. I wont get married to this guy. I won't let u spoil my happiness dad. Thinking this geet ran away with just her mobile..while going out all she tried to do was call maan she kept trying but no one was picking up the call.
She knew that once her father comes to know that she had ran away it won't take him long to find her. and that's why she changed the taxi at short distance so that no one could reach her easily. While going to Maan all she could think was that what will she say maan. She knew he ll be angry at her for leaving his hand midway but she also knew that he loves her alot n he ll understand her situation. Geet was just thinking that how happy maan will be to finally see back. She somewhere at the back of her mind knew that it wasn't a good idea to go to his house at this time of night but she had no other option. Maan was't answering her calls n she had nowhere to go. All she could think off at this moment was maan. Geet reached khurana mansion but the guards didn't allowed her in.
Please bhaiya call maan once he knows me. Just tell him its geet who wants to meet him. The guard gave her a strange look seeing a girl in her wedding attire asking for maan was something that was confusing him. Geet pleaded again.
Sorry mam but sir is busy there are guest in the house and I can't disturb him
Please bhaiya please understand my problem just call him once. Geet pleaded once again with so much of hope but seeing guard not scumbing to her pleads she decided to wait for a while.
Geet stood their outside the gates of the mansion. It was2 hrs since she was standing their guard felt bad seeing her waiting soo desperately and finally decided to call maan. He called Km n asked for maan n conveyed the msg that there is a girl who wants to meet him.
Mam you can go inside. Geet thought that finally now she ll meet her maan. She thanked the guard n ran inside to meet maan. Maan stood there schoked seeing geet in the wedding attire with tears in her eyes. Before he could comprehend anthing geet came n hugged him with the force. And kept crying mumbling that how sorry she was n what a big fool she was.. maan stood their with his hands on his either sides still shocked when geet broke the hug n looked towards his face n hugged him once again. Geet was just going on n on when she saw a girl n few elders coming out of the house. Geet backed away seeing the elders n stood with her head down waiting for maan to speakup for them. But he asked her to wait their n went inside with everyone. When maan didn't came for 20mins geet decided to go n see what was going on. All she could think about was that how maan might be feeling difficult in making his parents understand about her sudden appearance. She thought to go and appoligise to his parents and tell them the truth. But guess destiny had some other plans..what awaited for geet their was much more then geet could take in just a day her life came crumbling down first her father and now maan. When she reached the doorstep of the room she saw maan's parents n two more elders questioning maan about what was all this and a girl standing their crying,she was just about to enter the room to know what was going on when the girl who was crying till now got up and came near maan and said. "Maan what is all this if u didn't wanted to marry me then why did you got enagaged to me. Bloody two years I have been thinking that may be you need time but you... after that whatever was said geet heard none she was broken,she was shattered n if anything else was left then it was done when geet turned to go she saw a pic of that girl n maan on the wall. The pic was of their engagement day and maan was smilling standing beside the girl. She just gave a sad smile n walked off from their without turning back... that day she realised that how unlucky she was. Her dad was all set to sale her for his business benefits n maan the one whom she loved and left everything was just playing with her emotions all the while. In those 1year when she thought he loved her he was actually engaged to someone. Those promises that he made to her were all lame and fake.. everyone has used her just used her. She holds no place in her fathers life nor in maans life. This thought was numbing.. today she knew the pain of loosing someone .Today she understood that the person whom she loved never loved her. It was all a farce a game. She was broken broken beyond repair.
