Chapter 2

Its three days since Maan Geet working together and now they both are almost friends but Geet still call Maan MK.

Sharma construction... Geet cabin...

"Oh shit" Meera shockingly stare all files getting wet with water that fell from her hand.

"Meera what you have done" Geet try to clean water but the damage already done, her two weeks hard work went in vain.

Maan too was shocked knowing this is their project life.

"You have lost your mind or what" Geet shout in anger. Meera cry she know her fault.

"I'm so sorry Geet" She cry, Maan feel bad for her so does Armaan.

"Believe me Geet I..." Meera apologize but Geet stopped her in between.

"Shut up" Geet shout. Maan stood and come toward her.

"Geet just relax, Armaan you please take Miss. Meera out" Armaan nods and took a crying Meera out.

"Geet" Maan call her, she hold table to cool down her anger.

"I'm sorry" She still look angry to Maan.

"Calm down" Maan stand behind her. She hold table in her fist when she feel Maan warm breath on her neck.

"Are you okay now" He ask. softly she nodded.

"Yes" She close her eyes leaned on his shoulder.

"I never thought a girl can get angry this much" He wishper close to her ear. He slowly pulled her hand from table, her palm turn red with too much pressure.

"I always get angry like this" She told. Maan breathed in her hair closing his eyes.

"Hmm" Maan hummed moved his fingers up to her hand.

"MK" She moan when she found his fingers into her hair.

"Yes" He move her all hair a side.

"I'm scared" She wishper.

"Why?" He softly kissed her nape.

"Please" She moaned.

"I will not hurt you" He told. They both open their eyes. Geet turned to face him surprised, they think they said this to each other before too.

"Did we met before too?" Maan asked. Geet don't know what to ask him. How can she ask him if he is the guy she slept with.

"No" She refuse turning away and left cabin hurriedly.

Evening... Maan hotel room...

"I think Geet is that girl whom I slept with on my birthday night" Maan tell. Armaan shockingly look him.

"Don't you dare tell her anything if she is the girl" Armaan warned him.

"But Why ? don't know what she felt that morning when she didn't find me there" Maan feel guilty for leaving her like that.

"What if she cancel this project of yours" Armaan told in fear of loosing their project.

"I don't care, if she is that girl then I will apologize" Maan just want to come out of this guilt that eating him from that morning he leaves Geet without facing her.

"Maan you have gone mad. You know what she will send you behind the bars and then what about your father respect and yours too" Armaan told.

"Then what you want me to do" Maan shout frustrated.

"You just keep quiet that's it" Armaan walked out after telling him to keep quiet.

Next day... Sharma construction... Geet cabin...

"Geet now what you want to do?" Maan asked. Geet look down because this will take some days to make a new file.

"I apologize on behalf of Meera for spoiling our project file. I will try my best to give you a new file very soon" Geet look up to Maan. He nodded understanding her situation.

"I will wait, actually I'm here in Delhi for two weeks for my other project too so I can wait" Maan give her a smile. Geet feel relax that she is not spoiling her company image in front of Maan Singh Khurana.

After 2 days... Sharma mansion...

On Breakfast table...

"Geet beta please do invite Mr. Khurana in today evening party" Geet look her dad, she feel happy that she will again meet Maan.

"Ok dad I will invite him myself personally" Geet told then look down to her plate smiling with just the thought of seeing Maan.

Afternoon... Maan hotel room...

Maan heard a knock on door and when he open the door he find Geet there.

"Geet ?" He was sweetly surprised. She smile at him as he welcomed her.

"What bring you here?" He ask calling reception to bring coffee for both of them.

"Why? are you not happy to see me?" She made a fake sad face.

"No, no... I'm really happy to meet you again but I was just surprised that you completed file really soon" Maan told smiling at her.

"No, I still haven't complete that file actually I'm here to invite you for our business party, if you please can come tonight we will be really happy." She tell.

"Tonight? hmm let me check my schedule" He checked his laptop and turned to her.

"Ok Geet, I'm free so we are meeting in party" Maan said. Geet give him a sweet smile and get up to leave.

"Geet please sit, I ordered coffee for both of us, I would love to spend some five more minutes with you" He tell. Geet looked him amazed.

"Are you flirting with me?" She ask seriously.

"Do you have any doubt" Maan too ask seriously then they both laughed.

"You looks really handsome when you laugh" Geet says lost staring his happy face.

"Don't tell me now you are flirting with me?" Maan ask and find her looking down shying.

Evening... 5 stars hotel... Sharma's party...

"Geet beta you invited Mr.Khurana?" Mohinder asked when Geet enter in party.

"Yes dad, I did why what happen?" She ask then looked around for her friends.

"Then why he still didn't come?" Geet rolled her eyes at her father over excitement.

"Dad he will be coming, party just started now" Mohinder smile.

"I think I'm over excited to meet the great business men of the year" He tell. She nodded know he is impressed by Maan a lot.

After two hour...

Maan enter in party and Geet's dad is all the more impressed by Maan's sweet and down to earth nature.

"Can I have the pleasure to dance with Miss. Sharma" Maan voice catch Geet attention. She can't stop her cheeks turning red with Maan gentle manner and how he looking her. She nods slowly, they both come to dance floor.

"Geet" Maan turned her around hug her from back.

"MK" She hold his hands over her waist, they move slowly on the soft romantic music.

"Please call me Maan" Maan request.

"Why?" She looked up at his face.

"Why? Hmm if I can call you by your name then why can't you?" Maan asked. Geet smile turning into his arms.

"Hmm I will call you by your name the day you" She left her sentence incomplete.

"Me?" Maan raise his eyebrow in question.

"Excuse me please" She try to move away shying but Maan pulled her back into his arms.

"You can't leave without answering me" He was curious. Geet keep her both palm on his chest feeling his heart beats raising in excitement.

"There is nothing, I just like to call you MK" She says. Maan stare her eyes that saying a different story, when Maan was about to say something Geet's father call him.

"You like my daughter Geet?" Mohinder asked. Maan try not to give him a shocking look but still he is truly surprised by his open proposal.

"Mr. sharma" Maan try to sound normal but he is not getting how and what actually he tell him. This is not like he don't like Geet but he can't just say this directly.

"Mr. Khurana I knew you like Geet but I just want to hear from you" Mohinder don't want to leave this chance to make Maan his son in law.

"Can I give the answer through your daughter?" Maan ask looking Geet who is smiling and laughing with her friends.

"Yes why not but I want a yes" Mohinder patted Maan back and left to meet other guests.

"Geet" Geet turned back when she heard Maan voice.

"You need something MK ?" She ask giving a soft smile.

"Yes you" Maan said. Geet shockingly look him.

"What?" She stare him. Maan nodded and pulled her away from there in somewhere alone. Maan Geet both stood on 25th floor balcony in front of a huge glass window.

"You want to say something?" Geet looked Maan. he nodded

"Your father asked me if I like you or not" Maan directly come to the point. Geet get shock of her life.

"But I want to tell you first that I..." Maan seriously stare Geet.

"You ?" She hold her heart waiting for his answer.

"You like me" Maan told staring her wide eyes and Geet thought that he is asking her.

"YES" Geet accepted lost in his brown eyes.

"I LIKE YOU TOO" Maan said in delight. Geet smiled in happiness. Maan didn't even ask her, he just pulled her for a breathtaking kiss.

"Maan" She moaned into his warm mouth kissing him back. Maan moved back surprise hearing his name from her mouth.

"So this is what you were waiting for to call me by My name" Maan ask with wide eyes.

"No I mean" She fumbled shying to even accept she promised herself that she will only call him by his name when he will kiss her.

Next day... Morning... Sharma mansion...

"Wow!! That mean now Mr. Khurana is my Jiju" Pari scream hugging Geet tightly when she get to know that Maan Geet both like each other and about her father proposal to Maan.

"Pari please stop screaming" Geet glared her.

"Oh di you are so boring but I knew my Jiju is not boring like you" Pari teased her.

"What you said Jiju ki chamchi" Geet pick a pillow to hit her. Pari run to her room before Geet catch her. Geet lay on bed thinking about Maan.

"Should I tell Maan about that Mumbai night? I can't hide this from him but what if he leave me or hate me when he find out he is not the first man, no no I can't lose Maan" Geet cry hugging pillow.

After three days...

"Maan" Geet smile seeing his name as caller id.

"Hello" Maan spoke and she find Maan tensed.

"What happen Maan?" She ask worried for him.

"I want to tell you something, can we meet?" He asked.
