Dear it's not pammi, he looked at Rano, Geet's mother. He didn't wanna insult Geet in front of her mother or make rano embarrassed as well.
Maan has a good relation with Pammi and the whole Handa family...
Umm and he didn't speak fluently,, he fumbled slightly since he is from a village. He is a good student actually. Those are going to revealed into the next update.
