Home grown language is beautiful whether its Punjabi, Urdu, English or French and being tied to your roots is even more important... small hint on the future of this story line (tied to it.. not tied by it).

Lovely update so heer alliance got fixed but the guys family wants to get her married in a week time they promised that heer will complete her studies in city from home mohindar does find it weird but daijaan is happy that her daughter is finally getting married gonna have a new family heer left everything over her dad she is nervous but geets maturity gave her courage to live her life and face any obstacles no matter how hard they are

I have always loved a setting that is so close to real life. Your story is so beautifully crafted, so different from your previous work yet so exceptionally original and beautiful that all I could do is wonder why don't we have published authors like this, so that we can have these stories published in books, so that we can hug them close, for their sheer beauty.

Mishti, you're right it's been a couple of months and since it had been a single chapter so far, I thought the chances of me remembering the story line is slim. I was so wrong. I remember it so well, and it is all because no matter how many stories I read, this stood apart, original and native. So first of all thank you for that.

Now coming about Meera's match, I was a little concerned for her. It reminded of the scene in Dangal where a girl was getting married and Geeta and Babita were told by that friend that when given a chance to pursue something to be independent, they should do it instead of having similar fate.

I now look back at this scenario. The bride to be is nervous too alright, but she isn't resigned. She is hoping to have a better tomorrow. This shows the other side of our culture. And for some reason I want this to work for Meer. And the guy is cute too anyway, so I fervently hope Meer finds a great guy in him and would never resent or regret her decision.

Geet is wise beyond her age. What I like most about her character is despite being a tomboy more or less, she is not impulsive and a rebel for no reason. I'm glad she isn't stereotypical. I'm really glad that there is depth to her Character. Can't wait for the story to unravel. Thanks for this Mishty.
