interesting start with the historical setting..
while Maan was worried and uncertain about the future, I liked the hope filled attitude of Geet that reflected in her notes..time is mightier and can crush the thrones of the mighty kings under its feet..

the chapter name is apt..the last line says it all.
what he is subjected to by circumstances is cruel, but equally cruel part was the people around him scratching a painful mark on his innocent heart..
