Hello people. I am overwhelmed with your response on 'Across'. It kinda motivated me and I decided to pen this piece down which is more on the lighter side. Constructive criticism is always welcome!

Dear past me,
I know this letter will reach you in best of your health well Missy I m out in future , so do the calculations. As the future me writes this letter while sipping cup of hot piping tea, I contemplate what silly thoughts you use to have Miss Handa. First of all ,lets jump to the black - rimmed obnoxious geeky glasses which you abhorred ,are interestingly the new fad in the future.Sweets !you wasted heaps of time being preoccupied by how they made you look different and became bottleneck for your determined efforts to blend in. I want you to thank those not-so -hideous glasses for their unsuccessful triumph.
Life is not as bad and bleak as you use to imagine, thank you for choosing best of pals as they continue to remain by my side here. Thank you, for holding those silly grudges as the doltishness of those grudges made me forgive them assuredly. Thank you, for being bad at social loafing as it pushed me harder to network better and comprehend a lot .
I sure do not share best rapport with you but I find nothing in me and my heart to regret you. To me, you come as a bundle warped with experiences, unbound memories and bittersweet lessons. We may not share same affinities to music, food or fashion , but we do cohere with same beliefs, ideologies ,perspectives and of course John Lennon.
Once in a while I do scorn on you for your introvert personality as it made me miss certain opportunities. You remember that 10th grade debate competition in which you badly wanted to participate but didn't because of bouts of lack of self -confidence . Well, I will be obliged to inform you that I ,now proudly posses that enviable streak of impulsiveness.
Moving on to your most anticipated Prince Charming who to your and my surprise does exist and goes by the name Maan singh khurana. You will find huge support system in form of your husband, he will love you unconditionally and will accept your whimsical tantrums (sometimes not!) .Marriage with him will not be just about the infamous adjustments but it will also tile your life with joy, nonsensical arguments , laughter and love. You will be at loggerheads with him for silly things like bathroom ethics, towel rules but his companionship will make life hunky dory. He will play humongous roles of hero, lover, friend and little shades of villain too in your life .
Now coming to the appearance of my present and your future Mother-in-law which made you think of all worst case scenarios' is gratefully not the evil twin of any K serial's MIL. She will be sweet, caring ,at times unreasonable but you will find yourself harboring respect , love for her in your once M-I-L repelled heart.
So darling Past self, leave your inhibitions, overcome your fears, push your limits and dare yourself to challenges because this life is as simple Yet complex like those nightmarish calculus problems which are difficult to look but comes easy to you when you familiarize yourself with their properties.
Hence swear by the motto of Forgive,let go and don't carry the ghost. Please find enclosed herewith the future time-machine codes.
