Breath taking update nivi ...I m sorry for not commenting in detailed par sahi baat bataun himmat nahi ho Rahi hai ...pichla update spellbound tha nd I wanted to write a lot but my hands gave up ...I was like kahin na kahin relation shuru hoga ...par jaise maan ne kahan ki already crowded heart mein mein kahan jagah dun ..that touched me nivi ...sahi baat hai na chand Dino ke saajhedaari ko kahan apne dil mein samayeega ...geet ki zadozahad se aise Lagne laga ki ...wah apni man ko samjhi legi...aur is risthey ki aur kadam badhyegi ...

This story is a very true reflection of society in todays times. Where ego and expectations are causing distances in hearts.

We are in a generation that is in between traditional and modern. We want to live independently yet hold on to ohr values to certain extent... or we choose the convinient route and based on situation decide if we want to be modern or traditional.

In heart, both Geet and Maan are individuals with separate thinking, views and self esteem... yet chose to listen to parents and did an arranged marriage. We are on the cusp of flying and been individuals like in the western culture but are weighed down due to pressure from society or just values we are brought up with.

In a perfect scenario, Maan would have married Jasleen, Geet would have ran away with Aayush, Dev would have nor wondered and been true to Tara and not worry about producing an offspring instead, and millions of such cases. But we are all trying to make others happy and not happy ourselves as a result... right?

Very emotional and heart wrenching update. Poor Maan is feeling so vulnerable. His heart still yearns for Jasleen. Really anxious to know more about their relationship. What happened for Maan to be in such state? Its hard for Maan to acknowledge his marriage with Geet as his heart still longs for Jasleen. But its even harder for Geet who even though didn't want to marry but still had hopes for this marriage until she faced rude behavior from Maan. She is already emotionally upset over her studies and now finding the truth from Maan. Can't imagine how would she face it all so early in the marriage? She was thinking of mending ways with Maan by making pasta for him and talking to him. But all her hopes went down the drain.

You are such and amazing writer. You write these realistic situations with such ease. Its hard to comment as I feel so overwhelmed while reading the update but can't put in words. You write in a way that while reading, I forget that I am reading a story. I can visualize it and feel like its happening around me and I am a part of it. Please keep writing. Don't be disheartened by less comments. There are readers waiting anxiously to read your amazing stories. Can't wait to read about the morning after. Will Mann remember anything? I think more that being drunk, he was emotionally distressed. Please update soon.

Delirium tremens, that was the first thought. The way he came, it was like ab kuch toh hone wala hai. But dude, kya emotions. Geet's train of thoughts, his words, his past, kaun woh everything at the same time. I felt them all.
But she is there, even in delirium, she was there first then he went to another world altogether. To hear it from Maan and knowing it are two different things. Him saying it loud made it like Jasleen was and is present there. What a story.
Maan is trying, but I guess if the emotions are too much and left untreated, don't know the word, you can't accept things you have. You need to go through a lot before coming home finally. I won't say Geet is the best for him, if him and Jasleen was possible, I would say go ahead but then that was when Geet wasn't in picture. And why Maan and Jasleen weren't possible, I want to know...
I really wish Maan and Jasleen meet to bear it for all and once. Idk what I am saying. But I would take any practical picture with them.

Hi.. extremely long rant ahead.
I recently read ur ff, & I have no words to express what I felt. I'm so so deeply affected that I've been thinking of it day & night.
Especially the last 3 chapters - GOLD!
I have so many things to say, so much to ask, I'm afraid this 1 comment wouldn't suffice..
Maan, for someone who's so strong headed to become so vulnerable, that too about an ex. Its really heart breaking for me to see Maan's heart belonging so much to some1 other than Geet.
He hadn't given a proper glance to Geet during their official meeting, but he at one point had approached Jasleen saying "Ur eyes beckoned me. I felt really bad abt this, about the way he treated Geet like she was a nobody from the beginning. Like the way he wasted their 5 mins during their meeting.
At the same time, even though he appeared nonchalant , he HAS been observant of Geet. Like the way he noticed her in the train(with that hair scene with the teenager) or on their 1st day in the house, he made some extra food for her, or the fact that he noticed her aversion to alcohol on their reception. & what's with giving her his intense looks sometimes.
I have a feeling he's turned out the way he did bcoz of an unhappy childhood & love failure. What cud have gone so wrong with Jasleen? He still has her journals, but how?? Did they court each other? If yes, it looks like she didn't dump him, but circumstances brought them apart, coz he is still so fond of her. But still, I feel difficult to digest the fact that Maan can have some1 more important than Geet.
He is slowly changing, they are both changing. & scenes like him noticing her sleeping form on their 1st day, or him noticing her dresses, & talking about her actions being "endearing nowadays.. & the jealousy thing that happened wit Ayush - all these are making me hopeful still.
From not wanting this marriage to suddenly declaring that he is accepting it & wanting to give it a chance. I was hopeful of something gud happening until the last update.

Talking abt Geet, like he opined, she really IS very strong, and very resilient. Facing setbacks in education and so early in her marital life, she should be strong for she is still able to hope and dream.
Unlike Maan, Geet looked forward to this marriage in the beginning.. She was hopeful of something good happening, yet she faced failure in that as well. Now she has started to care for him. Like getting worried he hasn't carried his umbrella. & janab tho ex ke ghum mei khoe hue hai.
And now for her to hear him call out to Jasleen in his inebriated state.. Poor thing, my heart goes out to her. I got so emotional in the last few updates that I have been even thinking about it and crying. I wonder how Maan would be in the morning? Would he forget all this, I hope not!!! He should remember, and should be regretful of what he did to Geet.

Pls don't make this a sad ending, & pls pls as a sincere Maaneet fan, I have these 2 requests, don't ever stop writing this or discontinue this.. coz by the way you're writing this you will keep getting new fans like me, even a few yrs down the line. Your writing reminds me a lot of another writer Sarzah in GF. Last I was so affected like this were her stories.
& 2, pls if possible bring Maaneet's story to a point where, if by chance Jasleen comes, Maan would choose Geet with all his heart & not Jasleen.. he shdn't be in a state of delirium, like he is now.
I still had many more things to say, may be in my next comments.. please update this soon now can't wait to see what happens. The fact that I spent more than 30 mins typing this comment tells you what I really felt about your story.

Please continue soon... the story is as close to reality as it can get with a good sense of humor from the leads. Love your dialogues between Maan and Geet, they are quiet impressive and intelligently put across.
