1 MONTH LATER
With time things do change, some realize it while others remain unaware about it...
For Dev everything was normal , he was enjoying his life without any tension or worry but for NT with time things did change for her, and she realized it too.., the distance between her and Dev were increasing her insecurities, she was literally getting fed up of seeing Dev and Geet together, though she knew the bond that she(NT) and Dev share was nothing close to Dev and Geet bond , but still she love him, love him to her core and seeing him with someone else was not going down her thorat , she was missing the warmth between them now, everything was missing between them, for her now everything looks like just a formality from his side...
Everyday she questions him but he just shut her up , initially his silence was easy to handle but with passing time she felt that somewhere he was getting detached from her, the sense of lossing him is the prominent thought in her mind nowdays, her friends ask her not to worry but how can't she, everything is crystal clear in front then how can she still remain blind to all of it..., she had to speak up , she can't bear it...she need her answers today...
The screeching sound of tyres grabbed her attention bringing her to real world, looking up she saw the same view which she was seeing since last month...
Dev and Geet were back from their lunch, having smile on their faces, bidding bye to Dev ,Geet left while he smiled looking at her retreating figure..., how she hated it, the attention which he give her(Geet) ,she long for it..., sometimes she feel she is some fool to love a person like him, wish she could stop her heart who beats for him and move on but alas..matters of heart contradict with the thinking of brain...
Dev- you again, NT how many times should i tell you to stop waiting for me...After Geet I come to you only!, the annoyed voice of Dev brought her back from her thoughts but shrugging the annoyed voice she tried to be sweet with him...
NT- i was waiting for you...( she put her arm on his shoulder but he rudely shrugged it off)
Dev- oh yeah!
His rude reply trigged her pain and hurt and she snapped back...
NT- just a second before you were smiling at Geet and now when you are with me you look so annoyed, why??
Dev- what?? come again??, the ingorance in his tone made her heart bleed, but contolling her emotions she dared and looked at him, her eyes were full of tears but she didn't allowed them to flow..
NT- you didn't answer me..bolo until you saw me you were all in smiles but just my presence makes you annoyed now .. what magic that Geet has done on you??
Dev(rolled his eyes on her assumptions)- NT shut up!, i think you have lost your mind!, saying so he took a step forward to leave but her next set of words halted his steps..
NT- you were saying all this will end soon..one whole month has passed ...
Dev- what are you talking about???
NT- Don't oversmart me Dev.., i'am talking about you and Geet, when it's getting over??, her paitence is now breaking with his ignorance towards their relation..
Dev- oh! and i thought what, so my baby is getting jealous..., (he tried to grab her close but she stopped him)
NT- no first answer me!
Dev- NT don't you think you are overreacting??
NT- i just need my answers, you were going to tell about us to your mom right??
Dev- i will, just give me sometime!
NT- how much!, how much time Dev...sometimes i feel you are just using me, can't you see how much i love you , still you..., Dev was now getting frustrated with her continous rants, now it was getting unbearable for him to control her..
NT- look at me Dev, don't you love me...can't you see my pain??,( she grabbed his face in her palms and forced him to listen to her, irritating him further), i know you love me please don't torture me please...,(she was on verge of breaking down but still she pleaded for her love, but for Dev she was crossing her limits , from few days he is noticing that she was becoming too much overprotective , invanding his personal space but still he tried to be polite with her but now its getting too much.., forcefully he removed her palms from his face and separated himself from her, breaking her further)
NT- Dev??
Dev(angrily)- NT enough now! enough of your drama now!, you are getting on my nerves , i'am warning you if this happens again then..
NT- Then what Dev??(she angrily questioned him, he didn't liked her attitude towards him, his ego was now getting hurt, the NT who used to follow him blindly today is questioning him was not digestable to him)
Dev- don't forget i'm Dev Singh Khurana , i can easily get millions like you or even better than you!
His this statement clearly showed her place in his eyes, he never loved her not even a bit, love was far thing he never ever respected her and she was a fool to love him insanely..,her brain mocked her while her heart bleeded with pain.., but she was not some damsel in distress to beg for love , she already tried once if he loved her even a bit his heart would have melted..but it didn't instead he warned her that he will get someone else..the person who doesn't even value her feelings then how will he ever love her!
Now even being with him was an insult for her love, she can't let her love get insulted because it was pure , she can easily survive without him but not with him, because being with him will only give her insecurities, wounds and pains..nothing else.., after a brief silence Nt spoke up
NT- okay!, then what are you waiting for Dev, let's break up...as i think you already found someone better than me!, with plain face she replied shocking him..
Dev- what??
NT- yes..it's enough..enough for me to bear and enough for you to act..let's end it here..good bye.., saying so she simply left from there, leaving a shocked Dev behind who was still trying to figure out what just happened!
Evening, KM
Presence of Dev in KM that too since afternoon was creating a lot of buzz in KM, few were surprised while few were happy while Dev he was burning within himself..
Sitting by his Room's window, he cursed NT for breaking up with him, no he was not upset with the breakup but rather he was relived to get rid of her but the fact that it was she who uttered the last words was a big blow for his ego..
Dev(st)- how dare she!, what she thinks of herself..i have to show her , her right place!, (burning in his own rage his eyes caught the attention of Geet who was busy with Dadima in lawn..,something clicked in his mind and he smriked...), soon NT will regret to break up with me!
Few Hours Later
At Dinner Table
Everyone were present on dinning table including Dev, Maya and Dadima were extremely happy with his presence while Raj have some doubts to clear..
Raj- Dev, what i'm hearing that you were in your room since afternoon??..and surprisingly you didn't even go for group studies with your friends tonight??, he taunted him
Maya- Raj aap..., but she was cut in between as Raj ignored her and again questioned Dev
Raj- May i know what exactly brought this change in your schedule?
Dev-Dad i thought to have bit of self study as its my final year that's why no group study today!
Raj- oh..interesting..or the reason is something else??
Dev- dad.., but this time Dadima intervened between the father- son duo..
Dadima- Raj enough, you should be happy that both our sons are finally together at one table .., she looked a both Maan and Dev..
Raj- i'm happy ma ..i was just clearing my doubts nothing else..
Soon dinner got over and everyone left to do there respective works except Dev because he waiting for a chance to talk with Geet alone...
As Geet came out of kitchen with a coffee mug in her hand she out of sudden found Dev towering her..
Dev- hey..
Geet- hey Dev, what happened?
Dev- mm..nothing..
Geet- oh..., you needed something??, she asked
Dev- no..., by the way i didn't know that you have habit of drinking coffee in night!, he said as he looked at the coffee mug in her hand..
Geet- oh this..it's not for me..it's for Maan...
Dev- bro??
Geet- hmm..
Dev- and you are going to give it to him, are you not scared of him??
Geet- initially i was but not now..., she smiled as she said so.., (Dev found it strange as he had only seen his bro in angry avatar and due to which he never even tried to communicate with him..), okay i got to go now..nahi toh unki coffee thandi hojayegi and he will shout on me..bye Dev!
Dev- arrey Geet wait!
Geet- kya hai??
Dev- What i was saying is will you come out with me tonight?
Geet- tonight..night is over na??
Dev- not for youngsters..come'on Geet soon you are going to be associated with me , you should be aware of night life!
Geet- Night life??
Dev- yes go and give that coffee to bro and then get ready and please wear the dress which i gave, it will be perfect for the ocassion instead of your usual attire!
Geet- Dev i don't think i will be able come with you..
Dev- why??
Geet- actually i have assignments to complete and i think you too should study instead of going out as it's your final year!
Dev- but Geet..
Geet- sorry Dev..., saying so she left..
