That was a roller coaster ride of emotions! From the adrenaline pumping fight, the ups and downs, the victory of Tara, her strengthening, to the guilt-ridden son, to the helplessness of a lover, to the story of Savitri devi. It held me glued to the screen until I read the last letter of the update.

I'd like to talk about Savitri devi first. I understand everybody has a past which has made them who they are but I still can't bring myself to call her Daadima, even after knowing her side of the story. The thing is, it's not her past or her experiences that count for me or that will mellow me down. It is her nature which I can't really look at with softness or anything akin to affection. No. Agreed, she was pampered to the point of being completely spoiled. Agreed, she loved a man and married him but could not get love for him and lost him soon enough. Agreed, she acts overbearing when it comes to Maan because he is the only thing she has of her love. But why would she not love the direct descendent of her husband? Why did she take Raj as a responsibility and made him feel unwanted (sort of) until the day he died? Why did she not show any softness towards Maan? That's not her past. That's her nature. And I, for one, am not going to say anything in this case. (After already saying so much! Lol😆) But I won't deny the chance of redemption. Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.

I missed Dev in this chapter. And please please please tell me Dev and Tara are still there in the story. I want to see their love bloom.

Finally, Tara triumphed over her assaulters. And I'm so glad even Brij was caught redhanded. But I'm not cool enough to think everything is happy go lucky now. Tara still had a long way to go before she can heal herself, emotionally. And I want to see that process. With Dev. I hope there is more of them.

Coming to Maan and Geet. I can quite understand the turmoil both of them are going through. Coming to the place where he last saw his parents alive, especially since he was blamed for their demise, must have been incredibly difficult. And for someone like Geet, who had felt the place like home, something she hadn't had, it was probably like walking on the shards of broken dreams. But since they both are together and at least one of them remembers clearly what the truth is, I'm happy that they're back. Their togetherness ended here and it had to begin from here after that.

Enjoyed this chapter. The wait felt long to me but I shouldn't complain. Do I have the right, especially being the writer who takes months to give one chapter.😛
