PART - 1

A Man was sitting in the train from Bangalore to Chickmagalur, he was very tired due to continuous travel, he started from London to Delhi and from Delhi to Bangalore now from Bangalore to his destination Chickmagalur. He was bored due to continuous sitting, train started to move from Bangalore station...he was looking at the people from window... he was staring continuously and saw a female who was trying to catch train holding a luggage bag in her hand. He was not able to see her face...he shook his head and went towards door to help her. Holding a rod in one hand and put other hand outside so that she can hold him...Girl hold his hand and he pulled her inside forcefully and hold her to get balance. Both separated from each other and he went towards his seat while she followed him. She looked at a man and said "Hi...My name is Geet, thanks for the help, I have ticket for general compartment. When train stop in next station I will go till then can I sit here"

Man looked at her and said "Hi...I am Maan...Maan Singh Khurana, haa Miss Geet pls come inside"

Maan closed the door and said "please be seated" Geet looked around and said " bahut acha naam hai, you know this is the first time I entered first class AC coach"

Maan: thanks...Do you know Hindi?

Geet: agar mera memory teek se kaam kar rahi toh jo meine bhola wo Hindi hi hai...agar aap ko kuch aur language jaisa suna toh mujhe baata dejiye . Geet smirked at him and Maan looked at her in shock then Geet continued "I am joking yaar aap aise serious mein mat deko...one sec you are not going to throw me out right??"

Maan: no no...wo meine socha ki aap localite hai...why will I throw you out...aap aajeeb wo...aise koun baat karti hai

Geet: waise aap ne teek socha...wo kya hai naa, we are basically from Amritsar, but settled in Bangalore...aur apne kya khaha mein ajeeb...dekhiye...iss zindagi bahut choti hai toh uss ko jee bar ke jeena chahiye...agar roj life challenging hota hai toh bahut accha hai

Maan: you need challenging life then why didn't you join Army...roj kuch naa kuch seek ne ko milta hai

Geet: you think I did not tried? I applied par mujhe select nahi kiya toh mein kya karu

Maan: you don't look like...meine socha aap bahut innocent wo

Geet: chere pe mat jahiye janab...you will see double face people in each phrase of your life...you should be alert and smart enough to face them or else its very difficult to face the reality of life...ek baat kaho...dont try to argue with me , you wont win

Maan shook his head and sat opposite to Geet and looked at her, she was wearing Blue and Beige Colored Cotton Straight Cut Salwar Suit, she was looking pretty, then he looked at her hazel eyes.

Here Geet was feeling uncomfortable due to his continuous staring she straightens her dress. Maan understood that she is uncomfortable and to clear the tension he asked "wo sab chodiye...where are you going"

Geet: Chickmagalur...aur aap?

Maan: mein bhi Chickmagalur jaa raha hoon...it's my hometown

Geet: ohh Ok...I am going for the interview

Maan: interview?? Chickmagalur mein?

Geet: haan...I got interview call from Devadanam Estate...so I am going to attend

Maan: you will get job in Bangalore itself right then why are you going so far?

Geet: aaj kal naukri bahut mushkil se milti hai, in spite of having all the qualities you won't get good job, everyone needed recommendation...where I will go to get recommendation letter tell me...I am from middle class family...I am working here also so I have 3-4 part time jobs. If I get select there I will move to Chickmagalur suna hai bahut acchi jaga hai

Maan: what about your family then?

Geet: wo I don't have anyone, I am staying and working in PG which belongs to my Dad's friend...so I don't have any problem

Maan: what's your Qualification?

Geet: M.Com...are you by any chance training me to attend interview? Agar aise ho toh bhool jahiye because I have attended more than fifty interview

Maan smiled at her and said "nahi aise he pooch raha tha...agar aap ko bura laga toh maaf kejiye"

Geet: you look elder to me...call me Geet...hey aap accha nahi lagta

Maan: hmm ok, but on one condition?

Geet: Kya?

Maan: you should also call me Maan

Geet: teek hai...ok ... ok from the beginning ...she cleared her throat and said Hi Maan "

Maan shook his head and gave smile to her and said "Hi Geet... now don't change the topic, Geet did you attend fifty interview and you are not selected??? You are kidding me, right?"

Geet took her bag and said "why should I? mein jhoot nahi bholti..."

Maan: hey common...why are you taking your bag? Sorry if I hurt you..

Geet: you did not hurt me Maan...station aa raha hai, I should go to my compartment...thank you for helping me

Maan: Geet if you don't mind can I ask you something

Geet turned towards him and then he continued "please stay...hum toh abhi abhi dost bane, and its long journey so we can talk abhi hamara baat bhi puri nahi hua"

Geet: par mera pass general compartment ka ticket hai, What I will tell to TT

Maan: you don't worry about that I will take care...come sit

Geet thought for few seconds and agreed to stay back

While they were talking, there was knock on the door, Maan opened and allowed the canteen person in...he kept food and went out looking at Geet. Maan informed Geet to be there and went out, after few minutes he was back with Geet's ticket, he gave it to Geet and then he again closed the door.
