Rolling here and there in bed Geet tried to dodge the soft sunrays of early morning where were disturbing her beauty sleep , but looks like not only nature but the man made machine too was eager to wake her up as her phone rang breaking her already half broken sleep..irritated with the constant tone she picked up her cell to look at the caller's name..

Geet- what he wants now?( pressing the answer button) yes Maan...

Maan- Geet leave the bed and meet me in garden area right now!, he ordered in his stern tone which surprised Geet..

Geet-why?

Maan- do as i say meet me in half an hour , its urgent, i'm waiting!, with that he cut the call..

Geet- but...uff! god knows what's got inside him in early morning...chal Geet beta get up and get ready or else Mr.MSK will eat you alive!

Saying bye bye to her sleep she left the bed and got ready!

HALF AN HOUR LATER ,GARDEN AREA

Geet eyes were wondering in Maan's search when finally she located him near a bench , dressed in white kurta with wet hairs he was looking extremely irressitable , she so wanted to be in his hold, to hug him to tight, to kiss him hard and to...GEET ENOUGH ! her inner self stopped her before they can go more wild, clearing her throat she went to him..

Geet- i'm here!

Maan- you are 3 minutes late..., hearing his reply Geet made a face...while Maan stood their in his serious posture with hands folded back behind his back

Geet- have u called me here for some official work?

Maan- no..

Geet-then why are u behaving so serious?

Maan- behaving..?? i'm always like this!

Geet- oh yeah! how can i forget the ever so serious MSK, by the way Mr. MSK can you please elaborate your reason for calling me here?

Maan- yeah sure, do u see that brown packet there, through his eyes he pointed towards a brown coloured packet which was kept on the bench

Geet- yes, what's inside it..she picked it

Maan- g..but before he could stop her she opened it

Geet- wow a saree!

It was a beautiful plain light yellow coloured saree with a shimmering thin golden coloured border

Geet- its beautiful, you brought it for me..aww..you are so sweet but you know what you don't know how to present a gift , you could have presented it bit romantically that wouls have added to my happiness but as the gift is beautiful plus i liked it too so ( she moved closed to him and gave a light peck on his cheek) thank you..

While Maan stood there in his same posture

Geet- at least smile for me..

Maan- are u done ?

Geet- done...what??

Maan- i think you are done...now listen to me carefully and don't utter a single word in between until i finish !

First and foremost thing this saree doesn't belong to you its for meera sent by yash for her haldi function as now they cannot meet until there marriage yash asked me to send this saree to her through you..but you the great Geet opened it before even listening to me! , maan taunted her while Geet from inside was embarrassed but didn't showed on her and acted as if she did nothing wrong! but then a second thought striked her yash was gifting meera a saree , so thoughtful of him and her Maan till now he haven't gifted a single piece of cloth to her and this upset

Geet(st)- at least after seeing yash he too should have brought something for me but no MSK brains don't work in these areas na...she cribbed

Maan- GEET..,( his loud voice brought her back to real world) are u listening to me?

Geet- hmm

Maan-now coming to second thing Dadima have asked you to first come and attend Yash's haldi as in relation you are his bhabhi and you have some rituals to fullfill so remember that!

Geet- okay..anything else?

Maan- no!

Geet- okay, she turned around to go but his voice stopped her, she stopped but din't turned back to face him

Geet(st)- yes i knew he too had brought something to gift me(her heart has already started jumping in excitement)

Maan(moving close to her)- woh...i ..too have brought something for you..but..

Geet(st)- yipeee!!!!! , but from outside she maintained her composure and asked what?

Maan- woh..but i'm confused ..don't know you will like it or not..so i'm thinking let it be..

Geet who was already getting impaitent and now his nonsense worries..she was not able to take it now..turning to him

Geet- i will like..show me..

Maan- but Geet..i think you will not..

Geet(rolled her eyes)-i know i will!, you are hiding it behind your back na..come'on show me, she tried to pull his hands in front..

Maan(resisting her from doing so)- geet..geet..i'm showing but first close your eyes..

Geet- no..

Maan- please, he made a cute adorable face which defeated geet's eagerness and she closed her eyes

Maan (moving towards her)- are u ready?

Geet- from ages!, should i open my eyes?

Maan- no just a second bring his hands in front , he smiled mischeivilly , now you can but slowly..slowly..

Geet(excited)- she opened her eyes..she saw something yellow, bright yellow..something..but before she could figure it out she felt something wet on her cheeks and something wet on her whole face..

Maan- Happy Haldi Geet!, and with that he painted her whole face yellow(his palms were already painted with haldi and he just appiled them on her face, shocking poor Geet)

Geet what she was excepting and what she got, she was still in her shock zone while Maan laughed his heart out looking at her, intially she was shocked, then she felt like crying but when she saw Maan laughing like joker that too her she felt anger

Maan(trying to control his laugh)- oh god geet...just look at you..hahaha..oh my...he held his stomach as it started to pain...omg..finally i'm successful in taking my revenge for that mehndi..

His constant laugh was making her more angry she wiped her face with her own palms

Maan(controlling his laugh)- come'on geet you can smile..it was just for fun...

Geet- sure i will.., with that she too did the same with him and painted his face with haldi

Maan- geeet..

Geet- tit for tat!, Happy Haldi to you too!

She knew now he will not leave her so as soon as she was done she picked the packet and ran from there, leaving behind a shouting maan while she laughed

BACK TO THE ROOM

Geet came back to her room while thanking her babaji as nobody saw her in this condition and side by side cribbing at Maan , keeping the packet on table she left to washroom to wash her face

While washing her face she looked at herself indeed she was looking funny, she too smiled at herself , then suddenly her brain played the flashback scene where Maan was laughing that time she realized that i was first time when she saw him laughing like this..his laugh made her laugh too...with these memories she washed her face and wiped it ..

Coming out of washroom she saw Nishi sitting by window, which was not new for her to witness, she thought maybe she was lost somewhere..

Geet- nishi..i'm coming in a while u get ready till then okay..

Nishi- hmm..

statisfied with her answer she left to meera's room to give yash's gift to her..after an hour or so she returned back only to see nishi still there..she went to her and stood beside her..

Geet- nishi??

Nishi- hmm

Geet- anything wrong?

Nishi(taking a deep breath)- no..nothing..

Geet(putting her arms around her)- u know na u can share your worries with me!

Nishi(still looking out somewhere)-yeah..

Geet- so..but her phone buzzed,( it was dadima who called her to come downstairs for yash's haldi), Nishi i have to ran now..get up and get ready after yash's haldi we have to go for meera's too remember!

Nishi- yeah..

Geet- what yeah..get up..

Nishi- Geet you go ..you have lots of responsiblities to fullfill now..go..i will get ready..

Geet- pakka?

Nishi- hmm..

Geet- okay be ready i will come to you after yash's haldi!, bidding bye to Nishi geet left

Yash's haldi which was quite hectic for geet as all elders were towering on her only for bringing this and that..but she was not alone in this as dadima, vicky and maan too secretly helped her ,Geet ignored Maan just for fun while Maan thought she is serious which worried him..after Yash's haldi elders asked geet only to take the same haldi which was appiled on yash for meera too as it too was some ritual , Geet got so busy in all that , that she completely forget about Nishi in all that..

After Meera's haldi she was so tried that she just wanted to land on her bed , she was going towards her room when she encountered Maan in her way.. seeing maan sorry face she knew for what he is here for , so just to have bit fun with him she palyed along

Maan- geet..., ignoring him she kept walking

Geet- now what maan , what more prank you want to play on me?, she acted

Maan- geet that was just for fun, why are u taking it seriousily?

Geet- why should i not?

Maan- but geet...

Geet- Maan i'm tried let me rest for a while..

Maan- you can rest but first stop and listen to me...

Geet in her own pace was walking towards her room while maan was following her asking her to listen to him , a typical husband and wife scene , some passerbys saw them and laughed at maan's condition..which maan noticed and he didn't liked it all..

Maan- okay don't listen..we will talk in your room only!

They reached to Geet's room but when she opened the door the scene in front shocked them!
