"You did what???" Adi exclaimed, not believing what Pinky actually did.
"But Adi... My intention was not wrong. I mean I just lit the much needed spark. Pyaar toh unke beech already tha hi. It's just that they haven't yet told the other. I mean..."
"Pinky yaar!!! Phir se wohi bakwaas!!!"
"No Adi!!! Just now you yourself told me how even Maan Sir was pleasantly affected by Geet's behaviour. Toh iska kya matlab huwa? I mean, believe it or not, I'm sure he also loves her. And fine!!! I might be wrong, but Sasha???" Pinky tried reasoning Adi.
"Kissi me mera naam liya?" Sasha said from behind.
"Sasha tum yahan kaise???" Adi asked wondering how she found them there- the staircase area. It's supposed to be Pinky and his secret meeting place.
"Well Adi, you see this happens to be Romeo's and my secret place too," she replied with a wink as Pinky let out a chuckle. "So kya baatein ho rahi thi???" She asked.
And then Pinky went on to narrate all that Adi told her.
"Sasha now you only tell Adi. He isn't ready to believe me," Pinky whined.
"Adi. She i..."
"Ok fine. Maybe you're right. I mean even I had my doubts seeing Maan Sir's reaction lekin Geet??? Uska kya???" He quizzed.
"Adi!!! You're such a tube light," Pinky complained. "Areh I told you na, Geet ne khood bataya mujhe. Don't you trust me??? Main toh kabhi jhoot nahi bolti na," she added with a sad pout.
"Really Pinky???" Adi narrowed his eyebrows at him as Sasha tried muffling her giggles.
"Ok fine!!! I do lie. But white lies ok," she defended herself. "Lekin Sachi mein, Geet did tell me quite a few times how she feels something something for Maan Sir. Ek baar toh she even said that she loves him. I swear," she tried convincing him.
"Fine!!! So what next???" Adi asked, being partly convinced.
"Mission milaoing Maan Sir/MK and Geet, aur kya" both girls said in unison with a glint in their respective eyes as they were joined by Tasha who happened to listen to their conversation.
"Lekin!!! Hum 4??? I mean Kaise karenge," Tasha asked, wondering what they should do.
"Don't worry about that. I know 3 people who will readily help us," Adi immediately replied. "Now chalo!!! Let's get back to work before we get fired," he added realising they have been away from their respective tables for quite some time.

"Now pour in the questions," Adi told Yash, Dev and Arjun as he finished telling them all about Maan and Geet.
To his surprise, the trio stood silently, staring at him.
"Guys!!! I just revealed something you all were dying to know about and all you can do is look back at me like statues," Adi said wondering what happened to them.
"Ohhh puleeeaaase Adi!!! You see we are not tube lights like you," Dev replied and then looking at Arjun he added, "at least not Yash and I," while Arjun glared at him.
"Matlab???"
"Matlab yeh ke Maan aur Miss Geet ke beech mein kuch tha, yeh toh hum pehle se hi jaante the. Yea we just didn't know what exactly happened between them but thanks to you, we know it now," Yash replied on Dev's part.
"Whatever!!! So tell me, are you in with us?" Adi asked.
"Anything for Maan, Adi!!! You know that. Haan yeh baat alag hai that it will rather be you helping us in OUR plan, because you see we're much better at this than you," Yash added as he let out a laugh, accompanied by Dev while Adi just shook his head at him. He knew these 3 were the ones he could count on.
"Arjun!!! I hope you're with us too," Adi added noticing how he has been all quiet, lost in his thoughts all the while. "Arjun!!! Arjun???!!!" he shook him not receiving any reply.
"We won the bet, matlab Annie ko Maan se baat karna hi hoga!!!" he replied oblivious to whom he was talking.
"Kaunsi baat???" a curious Adi prompted him not understanding what he was really saying.
"Yehi ke Annie aur main ek doosre se pyaar karte hain," came the automatic reply.
"Kyaaa????!!!" a shocked Adi exclaimed breaking Arjun's trance while Dev and Yash could only shake their hand at their so-wise friend.
"Errr I mean...w..."
"You love Annie, Maan Sir's little sister??? Since when???" Adi asked. Of course he knows Annie. Isn't she like 22 years old or something.
"Yehi kuch 2-3 saal se!!!" came the reply.
"What???!!! 2-3 saal who bhi Maan Sir se chupke!!!" Adi wondered how the heck they even managed to keep it a secret for that long. "That's 2 shocks in a row. I wonder whether you have any more bombs to drop," he nervously joked.
"Errr actually, thing is that...errr Maan thinks Pia is my girlfriend," he said in a low voice.
"What??? And who is this Pia???" Adi quizzed.
"Annie actually has a friend Pari who in fact is Yash's girlfriend," he said pointing towards Yash who was really enjoying Arjun's plight at that moment, "so Pari has a sister Pia, so yea that's Pia and she..."
"She what???" Adi prompted wondering what was more to be added.
"Pia is actually Vicky's girlfriend," he said in one go.
"Oh acha acha!!! Wait What????!!!" Adi again exclaimed, placing his hand over his heart. "Jeeezzz. This is so beginning to sound like the chronicles of a mad family," he said as he gulped hard, while Yash and Dev knew no more than laugh.
"Now problem is yeh sab Maan ko bataaenge kaise. Rather, kaun bataega!!! Annie toh batane se rahi. She is feeling scared already," Arjun whined making Adi feel bad for him.
"We'll take your case later buddy!!!" he said as he patted his back, "right now, time to focus on Geet and Maan Sir," he reminded them.

"Geet kaash main tumhe bataa sakta, main tumhe kitna chahta hoon. I love you," Maan said, shocking Geet aaout of her wits.
"Sach Maan???" she asked for a confirmation, not believing what she just heard.
"Haan Geet, I love you, I love you very very much. Main aankhein band karta hoon toh tumhe dekhta hoon, aankein kholta hoon toh tumhein dekhta chahta hoon. Tum paas nahi hoti to tumhein Charon taraf mehsoos karta hoon. Har ghadi har waqt mere naina meri Geet ko dhoondte hain. Isse pyar kaho ya pagalpan ya meri dil ki dhadkan, mere liye ek hi baat hain," Maan added which nearly brought tears to Geet's eyes - tears of happiness. "Pyar toh bahut log karte hai lekin mere jaisa pyar koyi nahi kar sakta. Kyonki har kissi ke paas tum joh nahi ho. Main tumhe bhool nahi sakta, main tumhe bhoolna hi nahi chahta. Tum meri zindagi ho, main tumhe zindagi bhar pyaar karoonga, marte dam tak pyaar karoongi aur usske baad bhi," Maan finished causing butterflies to flutter in Geet's stomach.

"Oh Maan!!!" Geet let out as she hugged him.
"Oh Geet!!!"

"Oye Geeet!!! Utho!!!!" Pinky said loudly awaking Geet.
Shit!!! Sapna tha!!!
"Tu thak nahi jaati baar baar ek hi movie dekh dekh kar!!!" she said irritatingly as she switched off the TV.
"Kya Pinky!!! I was having such a good dream. Beech mein aake, you just broke it," Geet chided her. She was so angry at her for breaking her ohh-so-romantic dream. Kaaash!!! Aisa sach mein hota, she wishfully thought as stretched out her arms.
"Waise kaun tha sapna mein??? Kahin Maan Sir toh nahi," Pinky nudged her, letting out a wink as she settled beside her on her bed.
"Le!!! Jab pata hain toh pooch kyun rahi hai," she blurted and then realising what she just said she bit her tongue. Geettt!!! Urrrghhh!!!!
"Acha!!! Toh matlab Maan Sir hi the," Pinky said letting out a chuckle.
"Just Shut up Pinky!!! Main kyun dekhne lagoon ki unke sapne. Unse zyaada handsome log bhi exist karte hain," she tried explaining. "Main toh SRK ke sapne dekh rahi thi. KHNH dekh ke, pata nahi kab aankh band huwi toh haan bas aise hi KKHN ke Aman ke bare mein sapna dekh rahi thi," she added, hoping she would be convinced. "Ab agar teri jasoosigiri khatam hogayi toh will you care to leave the room? I wanna sleep," she tried sending her away as she covered herself with her duvet once more.
"Yeh kya Geet. It's a Saturday afternoon and all you care of is sleeping. Let's go shopping yaar, even Sasha and Tasha are coming." Pinky told her.
"What???!!! Sasha?????!!!!! Errr I mean Sasha and Tasha...Well, it's been so long since we met. Theek hai, I'll come but just because of them ok warna I don't like any disturbance when I sleep," she said as she got down, moving towards the washroom.
"Yea yea, now get ready," Pinky said, fully aware why she was suddenly so ready to go. Be ready for her questions Sasha, Pinky thought with a grin.

"But wasn't your birthday last at the beginning of the semester," Maan confusedly asked Dev over the phone, clearly remembering how he had made mention of that in class when he had come late once.
"Mera Birthday keh leta, idiot," Yash whispered, as he glared at him.
"Errr who toh... maine jhoot kaha tha," Dev managed to come up with an excuse.
"Jhoot??? But why," Maan asked in a serious tone. I hate lies!!!
"Actually it was my girlfriend Meera's birthday and we went out for dinner and celebrated so by the time I got back home, I was so tired that I couldn't wake up on time the following day and that's why I lied that it was my birthday in class. I mean girlfriend ka birthday tha, yeh toh nahi keh sakta tha na, so issiliye," he said sounding the most convincing as possible as Yash gave him a thumbs up. "Sooo!!! You're coming right???" he asked Maan, crossing his fingers for his approval.
"Errr...I,"
"Oh say Yes Maan warna bechara ka dil toot jaega,"
"Yash, is that you? It's very *polite* to break into other's conversation by the way," Maan said with sarcasm.
"Yea thanks for the compliment, huh," Yash replied as he took the phone from Dev while Adi let out let out his signature laugh.
"Wait!!! Even Adi is with you guys???" Maan was quite surprised. He always thought Adi didn't quite like them.
"Yes he is. Ab isse choro and tell us are you coming. Dekho na kahoge toh bechara Dev ka dil tootega aur Dev se Devdas banega," Yash dramatically added.
"What???"
"I mean he will feel bad Maan. Bechare ke paas sirf 3-4 doston hi toh hai. Ab in mein se ek nahi aaega toh bura toh lagega hi na."
Maan simply rolled his eyes. Such a nautaki.
"Fine!!! Toh plan kya hai???"
"Errr pehle hum Dev ke liye ek gift dhoondenge and after that dinner. Bas!!!" Yash explained.
"Ok. Message me the place, I'll be there in an hour or 2." Maan said.
"Ok aur haan!!! Bring your siblings as well. The more, the merrier," Arjun added this time and immediately disconnected the call not wanting Maan to say anything further.
The four lifted their invisible collar as they thought about their little success on the first phase of their plan.
