"Bhai he is your friend. Hum wahan jaake Kya karenge?" An irritated Vicky asked. He had already thought of taking Pia out on dinner. Urggghhh.

"Vicky. When you were small you were always eager to accompany me. Ab Kya huwa?"

"Right Bhai!!! When I was S-M-A-L-L" he spelled the word. "Ouch Annie," he said in a whispering tone as she elbowed him. "Tujhe kya huwa?"

"Wahan Pia bhi hoga!!!" She whispered to him.

"Matlab???" Vicky asked.

"Wo..."

"Ok Vicky!!! I understand. If you don't want to come then it's ok." Maan said at the same time.

"Eerrr Bhai. Now that you're insisting, I'm having second thoughts. I guess I'm gonna accompany you after all. Warna bechari Annie will be all alone," he said.

"No. It's ok. Waise bhi Arjun will be there for her."

"What???"

"What what!!! Did you forget??? He's Pia's boyfriend. So obviously Annie knows him," Maan said as he shook his head while the twins shared a nervous laugh.

"Yea right!!!" Both said in unison.

"Ok Bhai!!! We'll go and get ready then. And Annie, can you come in my room. I need you to choose an outfit for me," Vicky said as he motioned Annie to come after him.

"Oh toh yeh baat hai!!!" Vicky said, not really believing what Annie just told him. "You know I still can't really believe that Bhai loves someone. I mean Bro and love???!!! He looks so Arranged Marriage type," Vicky said with an exasperated look.

"Vickyyy!!!"

"What Vicky!!! Anyways let's get ready before we get a lecture on punctuality," he reminded her as he thought about all the times Maan would get late for an event just because of the two of them.

"So what were you telling Pinky?" Geet quizzed Sasha the moment she found her alone, as Tasha and Pinky deliberately went to the trial rooms.

"Pinky??? What did I tell her?" Sasha questioned back faking ignorance.

"Woh... Ummm... Maan waali baat," Geet replied.

"Acha woh!!!!" Sasha explained as she pretended having remembered. "Haan Geet, I was saying the truth," she added flashing a smile at her.

"Tumhare matlab... I mean... Maan bhi sach mein mujhse..."

"Bhi?????!!!! Matlab even you???" Sasha gasped as she covered her mouth.


"Errr woh I Ummm," Geet found herself at a loss of words as she got herself caught while Sasha was really enjoying her plight. "Chodo mere baare mein. We were talking about Maan, remember?" Geet told her trying to hide her embarrassment.

"Haan Geet!!! MK ne khood bataya mujhe," Sasha replied.

"Kya?" Geet prompted.

"Yehi that he loves you," she added as she winked playfully at her. "But Geet please don't tell him that I told you so," she continued.

"Kyunnn???!!!" Geet got a bit alert.

"Areh you know MK. He doesn't like it if his private matters go public. Ab if he gets to know that I told you all this, toh kahi mujhe naukri se na nikaale," Sasha said with so much conviction that Geet actually fell for it.

"Yea I understand. I..."

"Kya baatein ho rahi thi?" Tasha jumped into their conversation joined by Pinky.

"Actually Tasha, Geet was ask..." Sasha started but was cut in between by Geet.

"Kuch Khaas nahi. Ab chalo. Where are we going next," she asked as she tried diverting them while the 3 girls shared a knowing look.

"Annie ko toh jaante hi ho," Maan said to Arjun as he finished introducing his siblings to the boys.

"Mujhse zyaada kaun jaanta hoga usse," he muttered as he scratched his head.

"Did you say something?"

"Yea I mean yea I know her, Pia's sister's friend," he covered up.

"Speak of the Devils and here they are," Yash said as he pointed towards Pari, Pia and Meera who joined them.

"Hi Dhak Dhak!!!" the fangurl in Pia said in a trance as she saw Maan.

Vicky cleared his throat to make her aware of his presence while the others tried their best to hide their grin.

"Errr I mean Namaste Maan Bhai," she folded her hands to greet him and fluttered her eyes.

"Ummm Hi errr na-namaste," Maan replied wondering what was wrong with her. He gave an apologetic look to Arjun as if he was sympathising with him. Bechara!!! He thought!!!

"Pinky!!! Woh dekho Maan!!!" Geet pointed towards Maan who had come out of a shop to attend a call.

"Kahan Geet???" Pinky pretended as if she didn't see him.

"Areh uss Tommy Hillfiger ke shop ke bahar," Geet said.

"Geet I really can't see him," she said again.


"Pinky!!! Tu na chasma pehena start kar. Itna bara Maan khara hai wahan pe aur Tu Kehrahi hai ke tujhe dikhaye nahi de rahi," Geet said in an irritation-filled voice.


"Waise Geet, even we can't see MK," Tasha added meekly.


"Whattt???" Geet exclaimed. Are they blind or what???

"Geet I think you've started day-dreaming about MK," Sasha teased her in a low voice while Geet gave her a you-can't-be-serious look.

"Fine!!! Let's go there and see who is right," she suggested as Geet glared at her while Pinky and Tasha silently giggled from behind.

"Bhai!!! Aap yeh shirt try kijiye!!!" Annie urged Maan as he entered the shop once again.

"Annie!!! We are supposed to buy something for Dev and not for me," Maan replied.

"But Bhai!!! I think this will suit you. Dev ke liye bhi kuch lenge but please aap yeh try kijiye," she said with a cute pout which was enough to make Maan agree.

"Fine!!! Where's the trial room?"

"Over there," she handed him the shirt to him as she pointed towards the right-hand corner of the shop.

"Guys!!! Let's move out, they're coming here too!!!" Adi said the moment Maan was out of sight.

"Kitna ajeeb shop hai. Ek bhi client nahi hai," Geet told Sasha as they neared the shop while Pinky and Tasha were busy elsewhere.


"Humne toh pehle hi kaha tha. You only said that you saw Maan there," Sasha replied shruggingly.


"Haan dekhi!!! And I'll prove it to you," she replied.

"Geet!!! Go ahead. I'll just attend this call," Sasha said as Geet entered the shop. "I won't take long," she added.


"Ok!!!" Geet said as she entered inside and started looking for Maan.

And then the shop's shutters went down!!!

"Thanks buddy," Dev thanked the owner as he closed the shop from outside.

"Anytime bro," he replied with a smile. "Lemme know when you want it open," he said as he moved away.


"Wow Adi!!! Tumhara dost kitna intelligent hai," Pinky commented, praising Dev while Meera eyed her.


"Pinky, you're my girlfriend, remember," Adi reminded her which relieved Meera.

"Haan hoon but ache cheezon ki taareef karna chahiye silly" she added as all shared a laugh.

"I hope all goes well between the two," Tasha said as she bit her nails.

"Leave those two. Focus on our problem now," Arjun said.


"Such a big mess!!! And all because of you big-mouth," Vicky glared Annie.

"Vicky!!! Dekh d..."

"Guys!!! Guys!!! Relaxxx. Let these 2 solve everything between them. Then we'll take your case and please do not fight. At least not now. We have another priority at this moment, remember," Yash reminded.

"Right!!!" All said together, agreeing with him.

"Waise Annie, kissi aur ki girlfriend banani hi thi mujhe, toh tumhare Maan Bhai ki bana leti. Khair choro," Pia said after few seconds while Vicky just shook his head at her.

Ahhh!!! Her *admiration* for his brother. He was fully aware how she used to have a crush on Maan well before they eventually fell in love. She always used to joke how she *phassaoed* Vicky just for the sake of being closer to Maan.

"Aaahhh" Geet screamed as she found herself all alone in the closed shop...in dimmed light.

"Tum????!!!!" Maan exclaimed from behind realising it was Geet who shouted that loud. He was busy changing in the trial room when he heard a girl shouting. Fearing something might be wrong with Annie, he came out immediately only to find Geet there.

What was she doing there??? And why is the shop closed??? Where the hell was everyone???

"M--m-maaan, I...I..."

Shittt!!!! Maan cursed as he rushed towards Geet was holding her head, nearly fainting. Then he remembered. She had monophobia - the fear of being alone. Damn!!!!

Maan sprinkled few drops of water on Geet's face in an attempt to bring her to her senses. He was lightly tapping her cheeks when he felt her stirring.

"Ma-Ma-Maaan!!! Mu-muj-mujhe cho-chod ke m-mat jaaao!!!" she tried saying in between sobs.

"Relax Geet. I'm here, besides you," Maan replied, feeling a bit uneasy with the presence of Sasha in his office.

He helped her to sit on the sofa as Sasha handed her a glass of water.

"Geet, what happened to you?" he asked as she finished gulping down the water in one go. "I mean, you were in the store looking for a file na with Sasha, then what happened that you fainted there?" he added worringly.

"Woh- A-actually Sasha received a call, and due to lack of network she went out and she closed the door behind her. Aur- aur khood ko wahan akeli paa kar, I got scared. Woh actually, muj-mujhe monophobia hai. Jab khood ko akeli paati hoon kissi jagah pe toh, toh dar jaati hoon,"she replied in a low voice.

"I'm so sorry Geet," Sasha immediately apologised.

"No Sasha. It was my fault itself. I should have told you not to close the door. Please don't embarrass me by apologising," Geet immediately said. "Ab chalein. I guess we need to get back to work, kahin Boss hamari salary na katwaalein,"she tried easing the atmosphere.

"No Geet!!! Take the half day off and go and rest," Maan said not wanting her to work in such a condition. "My driver will drop you home. Don't worry."

"But,..."she tried protesting.

"No arguments Geet!!! It's an order," he said in an authoritating tone and turning towards Sasha, he added, "Sasha, stay here itself, we need to discuss about the audit schedules."

"Yes Sir!!!" Sasha said while Geet slumped back on the sofa, helplessly. She knew he meant what he said. Chal Geet!!! Ghar jaake aaram kar.

"Geeettt," he yelled as he took her on his arms.

Kahan phas gaya Maan!!! He couldn't help thinking as he held an unconscious Geet in his arms.
