Location : KHURANA MANSION (KM)
After Shantipaath was done to provide peace to Geet's departed soul and all the family and friend left, RK switched on the television to lift Dadimaa and Sumitra's spirits. Suddenly everyone was stunned hearing the news.
"BREAKING NEWS WE ARE REPORTING LIVE FROM GURGAON, OUTSKIRTS OF DELHI. Today Ms. Sameera Rastogi was arrested along with her current boyfriend, Mr. Raghav Khosla from her apartment in XYZ building in Gurgaon. They were arrested for duping and doing fraud with a number of rich Industrialists in whole of India. A 25yr. old woman whose original name is Devyani Rathore would trap rich business men and marry them. After her marriage, she would contact her current husband's rival company and sell her husband's company to them. After her husband would be bankrupt, she would divorce her husband. She first time played this fraudulent game with Mr. Rohit Chowdhary from Kolkata as Manjulika; then with Mr. Venketesh Iyer, a diamond merchant from Chennai as Rajyalakshmi and recently with Mr. Karan Malhotra as Ayesha. She was finally caught by Commissioner of Police being given an anonymous tip off when she was going to again entrap a rich Industrialist under the name of Sameera Rastogi with her current boyfriend, Rahul Chopra. Devyani Rathore or Sameera Rastogi has also been charged with bigamy and attempt to murder. She was trying to murder her latest victim but he was saved by timely intervention of the police force! That's all from Meenakshi Sarcar and cameraman Avinash Kochar!"

"Mujhe lagta hai ki Sameera ke pakade jaane mei Maan ka haath hai!" (I feel that Sameera has been caught by tip off given by Maan.) RK said.
"Rishabh bhaiya, aap uss dhokhebaaz ka mere saamne naam matt lijiye. Mere sabse pyaare logon ko usne mauth ke muh par laakar chodha hai!" (Rishabh, please don't take the name of that cheater in front of me. He has brought two of my most loved ones on the door step of death.) Sumitra said in anger with tears streaming down her eyes.
"Yeh aap kaise keh sakti hain bhabhi? Geet ki mauth Maan ki wajeh se nahi, magar hospital room mei aag lagne se hui hai. Aap jaanti hain bhabhi ki Maan jab Geet ko chodkar gaya thaa toh woh sirf thakaan aur kamzoori ki wajeh se behosh hui thee kyunki Geet ne subah se kuch khaaya nahi thaa. Aur bhaiya ki pehle se tabiyat kharab thee, jisko unhone hum sabse chupaya thaa!" (How can you say that bhabhi? Geet's death was caused because her hospital room caught fire. You very well know that when Maan left, Geet had only fainted due to tiredness and lack of food as Geet was fasting since morning. Rajveer was not well which he was hiding from everyone and hence had heart - attack.)
"Aur jo chitti Geet ne chodi thee uska kya?" (What about the letter?) RK had no answer for that. "Meri parvarish mei hi kami reh gayi hogi bhaiya! Woh itna swarthi hoga mai kabhi soch bhi nahi sakti thee. Ek bin maa-baap ki ladki se itni ghirna aur uska aisa tiraskaar? Abb mujhe uske baare mei aur kuch nahi sunna hai."(The fault lies in my upbringing. I never thought he would become so selfish. A girl who is all alone in this world without her parents, how can he reject as well as hate Geet like this. Now I don't want to hear a word about him!)
"Bhabhi kaheen na kaheen galti humari bhi hai!" (Bhabhi, partly the fault is ours as well!)
"Agar hum itne hi galat the toh woh daayan ladki aaj salaakhon ke peeche nahi hoti!"(If we were so much at fault, then that witch would not have been behind bars now!)
"Salaakhon ke peeche bhi toh Maan ne usse bheja hai!" (She is behind bars because of Maan!)
"Khair, abb Maan jisse shaadi karna chahe usse shaadi kar sakta hai. Usne kewal jyaadad paane ke liye Geet se shaadi ki thee, toh aaj hum jyadaad Maan ke naam karte hain. Ek daffa Rajveer theek ho jaayega toh hum teeno Rishikesh jaa rahe hain. Aap sab bacche abb Khurana Industries aur parivaar sambhaliye!" (Anyway, Maan can marry whomever he pleases. He only married Geet for property, so I'm transferring the property in his name. Once Rajveer is better, we three will leave for Rishikesh. You all children handle Khurana Industries and Khurana family.) Savitri Devi announced and walked away being supported by Sumitra and Sadhana. The whole scenario was witnessed by Maan who had come to ask about his father's health.
Once all the women had left, Maan followed RK and entered the gym. On entering the gym he closed the door alerting RK. "Maan tum yahaan?"(Maan, why have you come here?)
"Haan Chote Papa! Mai kuch sawaalon ke jawaab janna chahta hoon." (Uncle, I want answer to few of my questions.)
"Mujhe koi jawaab nahi dene."(I don't want to answer.)
"Kamse kam mujhe yeh jaane ka haq toh hai ki mujhe kiss gunah ki sazaa mil rahi hai?" (At least I have a right to know for what crime, I'm being punished?)
"HAQ! Tumne uss hi din sab haq kho diye jiss din tum Geet ko suhaag ki sej par akela chodkar chale gaye. Agar jaana itna zaroori thaa toh kissi se keh kar bhi jaa sakte the naa ki ek chor ki tehara bhaagte. Khair tumhei sach sunna hai toh sunno. Tum Geet ko akela chodkar chale gaye. Bhaiya ko beichaini ho rahi thee aur woh raat ko uth gaye aur tum dono se milne ki zidd bhabhi se ki. Jab unhone ne tumhare kamre ka darwaaza khula dekha toh woh andar gaye. Tumhei wahaan naa pakar chintit ho gaye aur jab Geet unhei gehri behoshi ki haalat mei mili toh dono ghabra gaye. Vicky ne Geet ke haath se chitti li jo usne pakadi hui thee, uss chitti ko padkar laga ki Geet ne khudkushi kar li hai. Yeh baat sunkar bhaiya waheen behosh ho kar gir pade. Hum sab dono ko hospital le gaya. Geet toh sirf behosh thi thakaan aur kamzoori ki wajeh se, magar bhaiya ko heart attack aaya thaa. Geet ki tabiyat sambhali hi thee ki achanak Geet ke ward mei aag lag gayi. Baaki patients ko toh baccha liya gaya magar Geet uss aag mei jalkar bhasam ho gayi. Uska chehra itni buri tehara jalaa thaa ki doctors ne hummei dekhne nahi diya, sirf uske kangano aur payal se uski shannat ki." (RIGHT? You lost the right the day you left Geet alone on your bridal bed. If going out was so urgent you could have told someone and gone, not left like a thief. Anyway you want to know the truth then listen. You left Geet and ran away. At that time Bhaiya woke up feeling restless and insisted bhabhi to make him meet you both. When they saw your bedroom door open they entered your room and found Geet lying unconscious on the bed with a letter in her hand and you nowhere to be seen. When Vicky read the letter, it was a suicide note, hearing which bhaiya fell down unconscious on the floor. We took both of them to hospital and it was diagonosed that Geet had just fainted due to exhaustion and weakness but bhaiya had a heart-attack. Geet had just started recovering when her hospital room caught fire. They were able to save other patients but not Geet. Geet's body was so badly burnt that they didn't let us see even her face we identified her by her bangles and anklets that its Geet's body.) there was complete silence once RK stopped talking.
Then Maan said, "Toh phir uski mauth ke liye mai kaisse zimmedaar hoon?" (Then how am I responsible for Geet's death?)
"Bhabhi sacch keh rahi hain. Maan hummei nahi maloom thaa ki tum itne swarthi ho. Tumne ek baar bhi Geet ke baare mei nahi poocha naa afsos kiya!" (Bhabhi was right. You are an extremely selfish man. You did not even once ask about Geet or feel sorry at her death.)
"Mere poochne se yaa afsos karne se kya woh wapis aa jaayegi?" (By my asking or paying condolences will she come back?)
"Abb mujhe lagta bhagwaan ne accha hi kiya usse uthakar, kyunki tum toh siwaye apne aap ke aur kisi ke baare mei nahi sochte!"(Now I feel God was right in calling her to him because a self centered person like you is better off without her.)
THREE YEARS LATER
Location: FIRE AND ICE CLUB
Maan was sitting alone in the bar trying to reduce his guilt and feeling of rejection by his family, by drowning himself in drink. Just then a woman in sexy black outfit holding glass in one hand and bottle in another walked by him.
Dress which was more or less backless figure hugging dress which revealed more and hid less. Hair tied in a messy bun with heavy make up came swaying slightly and pointed to the stool next to Maan slurring, "Is...any...one..sssi..tt..ing here?"
"NO!"
"Mind...your...bus...i...ness" She slurred to the middle aged man sitting on the other side of the bar stool gaping at her.
Unable to hold himself, Maan caught hold of her tiny waist and dumped her on the bar stool saying,"Why do you drink so much, if you cannot handle it?" Just then the lights dimmed and the floor show started.
When the lights came on she was no where to be seen. Only proof of her presence was a spotlessly white ladies hankerchief with SS emberiordered on it and a bright red lipstick mark! Maan finished his drink and walked out of the bar towards wash room before going home. Just outside the washrooms he saw a girl surrounded by four bulky men. From the body language he could understand that everything is not well. Before he could move forward and offer his help, the four men were lying on the floor groaning in pain.
Girl's back was towards Maan, when she turned, he was stunned it was same girl wearing black dress but now she was sober, there was no make up and her dress was a simple one! Now he could see those beautiful hazel doe eyes! She came near him and said in a low husky voice meant for his ears only, "Hope you enjoyed the show!" Then walked away with a wink and teasing smirk on her face.
