CHARACTER SKETCH
SAVITRI DEVI KHURANA
68yr. old. She is Chairman of Khurana Industries i.e. Khurana Constructions, Khurana Interior, Khurana Hotels, Khuran Hospitals, Khurana laboratories. She is also Chairperson of newly inaugrated Khurana Foundation (KF). She has three grandsons-Maan, Yash & Vicky! She likes Geet very much as a person and future daughter-in-law of Khurana family.
Dr. RAJVEER SINGH KHURANA (VEER) : 55yr. old He is eldest son of Savitri Devi. He is the CEO of Khurana Industries i.e. Constructions, Khurana Interior, Khurana Hotels, Khurana Hospitals & Khurana laboratories etc. but due to poor health he is only seeing to Khurana Hospitals & Khurana laboratories as he is the Founder of Khurana Hospitals & Khurana laboratories. He is a man of strong character. He is a famous scientist and is working on a formula for betterment of Nation's Defence system. He loves Geet like his daughter as she is the daughter of his deceased friend, Mohinder Handa. He has a wish along with his mother Savitri Devi to make Geet his elder daughter-in-law (badi bahu) i.e. Maan's wife.
SUMITRA SINGH KHURANA
50yr. old. She is wife of Rajveer and mother of Maan and Vicky. Although she has a Masters degree in Home Science but she prefers to be a homemaker rather than a career oriented woman. But she does help Savitri Devi in Khurana Foundation.
RISHABH SINGH KHURANA (RK)
He is 50 yrs. old. He is second son of Savitri Devi. He lives with his wife and son in London and handles Khurana Industries there. He is the CEO Khurana Construction and Khurana's Interior Branch, London. He loves Maan and Vicky a like his own son, Yash. He is as fitness conscious as Maan as he was the one to introduce Maan to Gym and fitness. Initially he was upset with Maan's behaviour towards Geet but now has forgiven him.
SADHANA SINGH KHURANA
She is 47yrs. old wife of Rishabh and mother of Yash. She wanted to adopt Geet as a daughter as she has only one son but Geet declined seeing Maan's resentment to her. Hence, RK, Sadhana and Yash consider Geet as their daughter/sister. Sadhana helps RK in his business as she is qualified interior designer.
MAAN SINGH KHURANA (MSK):
30yr. old. Eldest son & heir of Khurana Industries. He is MD of Khurana Constructions, Khurana Interior & Khurana Hotels. But he is now also the acting CEO of of Khurana Industries in absence of his father. He has a degree in Bachelors of Architecture as well as MBA degree. He has looks that girls just die for! Tall, handsome, having sexy stubble on his face & well toned body with 8pack abs. Very loving & soft towards his family. Although he is married but he rejected his wife on the wedding night as he was in love with his college friend, Sameera. Unable to bear pain and humiliation of Maan's rejection, his wife committed suicide that night itself. Now he is totally disillusioned by marriage. His parents have bycotted him after the death of his wife and now only talk to him when necessary. Although he is not a "ladies man", but girls and woman cling to him for his looks, money and fame! He also doesn't mind it as he feels that they are an arm-candy for him thereby helping him avoiding questions about his failed marriage and if there is a special woman in his life! In privacy, he drinks himself to sleep to ignore his feelings of guilt and hatred for himself
MRS. GEET MAAN SINGH KHURANA
Deceased wife of Maan. Geet was brought up by Khurana family after the death of her parents. When she was 6years old her parents died in a car accident. Her father, Mohinderlal Handa legally gave Geet's gaurdianship and Handa Industries responsibility to his best friend Rajveer Khurana. Mohinder knew that his elder brother who is in Hoshiyarpur will leave his daughter illiterate and will loiter away his hard earned money for their personal whims and fancies. But unknown to Mohinder that Rajveer will also have problems from his son, Maan by agreeing to keep Geet with them! As Maan had problems with Geet staying he often belittled her, unable to bear it any longer, she had moved to a boarding school in Darjeeling and rarely returned to Khurana household, not even for holidays. She returned only at completion of her schooling at age of 18yrs., and the family had immediately got Maan and Geet married. Maan was against this marrige as he was in love with his girl-friend, Sameera, but his parents refused to listen. On their wedding night when Maan confessed his love for Sameera, Geet had lost all hope of getting Maan's love.
VIKRANT SINGH KHURANA(Vicky)
26yrs old. Fun-loving, jovial & a prankstar. He works in Khurana Interiors as the head of designing department. He loves to party and have a nice time. He is a big flirt but soft hearted! He can even flirt with his Dadimaa. He considered Geet as a sister. Now he is very angry and bitter with Maan since she has gone and he has not spoken to Maan since then.
YASH SINGH KHURANA
28yr old. He is MD of Khurana Construction and Khurana's Interior Branch, London. He considers Maan as his ideal and hero worships him but after the incident with Geet he is no longer that open with him. He was completing his studies staying Khurana Mansion, when Maan got married to Geet. He is opposite to Maan in temperament easy going, soft spoken but possessing a foul temper, when he looses it.
MEERA CHANDOK :
25yr. old. She is Chief Architect of KC. Although Meera loves Vicky but keeps it hidden. She comes from a middle class family and Vicky from an effluential Industrialist family. And therefore there is no match!
SASHA GUPTA: 25yrs. Old. Works as an assistant architect. Very selfish and lazy in her work. Love to boss her juniors! Her main aim is to marry one of the Khurana brothers.
Last but not least our favourite, ADITYA SRIVASTAV (ADI). He is 29yrs. old. He is Head of Accounts department. Very close friend of Maan! His father was loyal employee of Khuranas. After his father's death, Khurana's employed him. He is very loyal to Rajveer Singh Khurana and Khurana industries. Adi can do anything for Khuranas especially, Maan. Maan trusts him the most professionally & personally. The only thing Adi is unaware of is that MSK is married but his wife passed away on the day of her wedding
PINKY MANCHANDA :
23yrs. old. Receptionist at KC. Very jovial, full of life & loves eating. Pinky loves Adi !
MAJOR RUDRA PRATAP SINGH
He is 30yrs old. Major in Indian Army. He was the one who saw potential in Anjali in her late teens, when he found her loitering near their Army base. He trained her in military warfare as he found no emotions in her talks which was rare for a girl. He never saw her crying even when she was deeply hurt making him realise how deeply she has been hurt by her loved ones. Anjali was the one who requested him to stop Paro's illegal wedding informing about terrorist activities going on under the facade of marriage. He along with his men stopped the wedding but left Paro helpless and abandoned. It was Anjali's suggestion that Rudra and Paro got married for Paro's safety. Now Rudra and Paro are married for past two years. Rudra seeing Anjali's loneliness made her his sister thereby making three loners i.e. Rudra, Paro and Anjali come together and form a sweet family.
Captain (Mrs.) SWARNANJALI SINGHANIA (ANJALI):
21yr. Old. She is true definition of beauty & grace. She has a milky white complexion, hour glass figure with doe-like hazel coloured eyes. She was married young but her husband left her due to her being from village without any fine social graces. She belongs to a village near Hoshiyarpur. So she completed her studies and joined Indian Army's Women's wing. She is currently working as a junior officer in Indian Army under Major Rudra Pratap Singh. He trained her in military warfare. She now lives in an Army cantonment area. She is trained as an undercover agent for providing security to civilians working on National security secrets. Due to her job undercover agent, she often takes different disguises.
PARVATI SHEKHAWAT/ SINGH (PARO)
22yrs. old. She is a village girl from a small village of on border of India and its neighbouring country. She was forcibly being married to a terrorist leader. Rudra and Anjali attacked the procession thus saving her leaving but left her an orphan . Anjali and Paro are an unseperable duo as both are from village. Both have similar likes and tastes.
