THREE YEARS PASSED
Location: KHURANA MANSION
In these years Geet got all love, care and pampering by Maan which she has missed since the age of 6yrs. Not only Geet but Maan also got unconditional love of his grandmother, parents, uncle, aunt and brothers. The twins were being spoilt rotten and the only one disciplining them were Geet and sometimes Sumitra and Savitri Devi, rest everyone gave in to all their wishes Geet was now getting worried by their rude and direspectful behaviour.

One day they threw something sharp in Nakul's direction as they were throwing a temper tantrum. The thing they threw was very sharp, which hurt Nakul's head and stitches had to be put. Maan, Ranjit and Vicky said to ignore it as they are small children, but Savitri Devi, Sumitra and Geet were very angry and decided to teach twins a lesson. For full one day when men were in office, Savitri Devi, Sumitra and Geet did not speak to twins properly they were extremely rude and disrespectful to the twins, making twins understand that you cannot be rude and disrespectful to a person just because they work for you. Savitri Devi, Sumitra and Geet did not talk to the twins properly till they said "SORRY" to Nakul with folded hands .
Along with being naughty, the twins were extremely smart afterall they were MSK's children. The smart three year olds by now knew that the only person in front of whom their mother can't raise her voice is their Daddu, Mr. Ranjit Singh Khurana. Everytime they did mischief they would run to their Daddu's room and hide. But one day Geet had enough and she went marching to her Bade Papa's room. Luckily Ranjit was not there and Geet caught her naughty boys one in each arm and marched straight to Maan and her room. Maan had just arrived from office and saw his screaming boys in their mother's hold. Looking at the boys' miserable faces he winked at them and came close to Geet, "What is this jaan? Now a days you don't have time for me. It looks like you have stopped loving me." Maan said coming closer to her making her heart beats increase and her hold on the twins loosen. "Nahi aisa toh nahi hai!" (No its not like this!) Geet said blushing but Maan kept coming nearer till there was only four inches seperating them and Geet's heart beats had started increasing,

"Suniye yeh aap kya kar rahe hain. Bacche dekh lenge." (What are you doing? Children are watching.)
"Bacche kahaan hai?" (Where are children?) Maan questioned. Geet looked down and around her and found that they have again fled and she immediately realised that how Maan and twins had fooled her. Now Geet's temper rose and she said, "Aapko aur aapke dono shehzaadon ko lagta hai naa ki aap teeno bahut smart hain toh yeh hi sahi. Abb se 24 ghante tak aap hi unki dekh-bhaal karenge. Unka homework, unka nahaana-dhona, unka khaana aur unka sona aap dekhege! BEST OF LUCK!" (You and your princes feel that you three are very clever, so be it! For next 24 hours, you will look after them. Their homework, their dressing, their food, making them go to bed etc. BEST OF LUCK!) Geet said and walked out fuming. Maan was taken aback he had never expected Geet to get so angry.
Evening became night, Geet still did not come and see the twins. Now both Maan and the twins were becoming restless. Finally Maan asked, "Nakul Geet kahaan hai?" (Nakul where is Geet?)
"Bhabhiji, aaj raat Meera didi ke paas rukhengi aur kal shaam tak wapis aayengi!" (For tonight Ma'am is spending the night with Meera Ma'am she will return only tomorrow evening.)
"KYA??" (WHAT??)
Savitri Devi and Sumitra were passing by and seeing Maan flustered and twins crying, Sumitra asked, "Kya hua Maan? Bacche ro kyun rahe hain? Geet kahaan hai?" (What's wrong, Maan? Why are children crying? Where is Geet?)
"Woh Maa...woh..." (Maa, that...) Maan was now uncomfortable.
"Dadi, Mama humse gussa ho kar Meera mausi ke ghar chali gayeen hain." (Grandma, Mom is angry with us and has gone to Meera aunty's home.) Ayush answered hiccuping.
"Maan, battaiye kya hua hai?" (Maan, what did you do now?) Now Savitri Devi asked in strict tone. Maan narrated the whole scene.
"Accha hua. Tum bacchon ko bahut bigad rahe ho, Maan." (Good! You are spoiling children too much!) Sumitra said sternly.
"Magar Maa..." (But Mom...)
"Maan, maap-baap ka bachon ko paalne ka dhang bhalhe hi alag ho magar bacchon ke saamne ek dusare ko support karna chahiya naa ki ek dusare ko neecha dekhana chahiye." (Maan, parents may have individual styles of bringing up children, but in front of children they should present themselves as a single unit.) Sumitra said.
"Matlab?" (Meaning?)
By now seeing children crying, Ranjit and Vicky had also come.
"Aap ne ek dafa bhi jaan ne ki koshish nahi ki, ki Geet bacchon ko kyun zabardasti utthaiye hue thee. Ho sakta hai ki bacche dudh nahi pee rahe hon, homework nahi kar rahe hon yaa kuch aur. Bacchon ko discipline karna sirf akele Maa ki zimmewaari nahi hoti hai, dono maa-baap ki hoti hai!" (Did you even once try to find out why she was holding them tightly. Maybe they were refusing to drink milk or refusing to do homework or maybe something else. Its not mother's duty alone to discipline children, its father's duty as well!) Savitri Devi said.
"Magar Dadimaa, itni choti baat par ghar chodhkar...?" (But Dadimaa, leaving one's home for such a petty reason...)
"Kya usne kaha ki woh ghar chodhkar jaa rahi hai? Nahi naa?" (Did Geet say that she is leaving home? No?) Maan nodded negative. "Woh ghar chodhkar nahi gayi hai kewal aapko ehsaas dilaana chahti hai ki baccho ki parvarish itna asaan kaam nahi hai, jaisa aap yaa duniya ke baaki mard samjhate hain." (She has not left her home but just wants you to realise that bringing children is not so easy as you and majority of men think!) Looking at Ranjit and Vicky. "Sirf daftar se lautkar baccho se do yaa teen ghante khelna; unki jaaiz aur naajaiz farmaishein poori karna yaa unka unki Maa ke khilaaf support karne se hi aap acche baap nahi bante hain, Maan. Accha baap yaa mata-pitah woh hote hain jo pyaar ke saath-saath bacchon ko thoda anushaasan (discipline) bhi sikhaiyen!" (After returning from office, just playing with them for two or three hours; fulfilling their correct and incorrect wishes; and supporting them against their mother doesn't make you a good father, Maan. A good father is one who not only loves his children, but also disciplines them!) Savitri Devi explained.

"Badi Dadi, Mama toh humala phone bhi nahi utta rahi raheen!" (Big grandma, Mom is not answering my phone.) Abhi said in teary voice.
"Ayush aur Abhi, aap ne aur apke Papa ne apki Mummy ko bahut hurt kiya hai iss liye woh aaj raat ko Meera mausi ke saath reh rahi hain. Woh kal wapis aayengi. Abb aap dono good boy bann kar apne Dad ke saath sooiye! Goodnight!" (Ayush and Abhi, both of you and your father have hurt your mother a lot. Tonight she will stay with Meera Aunty and tomorrow she will be back. Now behave like good boys, change your clothes and go to sleep with your father. Goodnight!)
Savitri Devi, Sumitra, Ranjit and Vicky left for their respective rooms, leaving Maan to handle the twins. With lot of difficulty after two hours, cranky twins went to bed and Maan's throat was hoarse with singing lullaby for past two hours. Maan was so exhausted that he slept in his office clothes only without changing. When Maan woke up next morning and saw twins sleeping and Geet nowhere present. Last night's incident came to his mind. Today for first time Maan realised in true sense the value and worth of a mother. Maan had never ever thought how tired Geet was every night when she came to bed. She never even once denied his passionate love making just because he wanted it! And when she wanted his support in bringing up their children, he left her mid way! Next day, when Geet returned she was given a warm reception by her husband and children. Now Maan had understood his responsibilities as a father and twins had understood that whatever their mother is doing is for their good! Often arguements were between mother and sons but Maan always supported Geet even if he didn't agree with them. He told Geet his view point when they were alone and had privacy!
Six months later Vicky and Meera got married with blessing of family and friends. As it was a simple wedding which both bride and bridegroom wanted there were only important ceremonies with immediate and extended families of bride and groom. Rudra & Paro and Armaan & Ridhima attended as they were also married now! Twins as usual were centre of attention after bride and bridegroom. Once Meera and Vicky were relaxing after their "grah pravesh" in KM, Ayush announced, "Chachu, aaj Abhi aur mai aapke aur Mausi ke saath sooyenge!" (Uncle, Abhi and I will sleep with you and Aunt Meera tonight.)
"KYA??" (WHAT?) Vicky almost fainted.
"Haan, haan beta zarur soona!" (Yes children you can sleep.) Maan also encouraged them. Vicky was fuming and Meera was giggling.
"BHABHIII! Dekhiye bhai..." (Bhabhi! See bhai...)
"Chalo, chalo sab apne kamre mein. Meera Didi aap mere saath aayiye!" (Come everyone to bed. Meera didi, please come with me.)
"Maa hum aaj Chachu aur Mausi ke saath sooyenge! Dad ne haan kaha hai." (Mon we want to sleep with Uncle and Aunt. Dad also agreed.)
"Tumhare Dad se toh mai baad mein baat karongi." (I talk about this with your Dad later!) Geet said glaring at Maan.
"Aap inhei humare bedroom le jaa kar dress change karaaiye, mai aati hoon. NO PLAYING VIDEO GAMES!" (Just now please take them to our bedroom and make them ready for bed. I'll come soon. NO PLAYING VIDEO GAMES!)
Vicky came near Geet and said "Thank you Bhabhi!" touching Geet's feet.
"Bhaiya aap yaheen rukhiye!" (Bhaiya please wait here!)
"Magar bhabhi..." (But bhabhi...)
"Adi bhaiya kya aap Vicky bhaiya ko company de sakte hain?" (Adi can you please give Vicky company?) Adi nodded and immediately sat next to Vicky.
"Bhabhi aap bhi!"(You too bhabhi!) Geet gave a mischievious smirk and left with Meera.
TWO YEARS LATER
Today is Ayush and Abhi's 5th Birthday, RK, Sadhana and Yash had also come from UK.
Geet and the whole household was busy arranging their birthday. Maan had got them big toy cars in which they could sit in and ride.
Their birthday cake was also in a car shape as Cars were their passion. Twins were so excited sitting in their toy cars, that they refused to get off them even for lunch or snack. As it was Saturday today, twins had no school, so they were free the whole day to ride the car. Geet since morning was feeling weak as she was having her monthly cycle, but did not mention to anyone. In afternoon when Maan, Yash, Vicky and twins were playing video games, Geet decided to rest. When she slept she doesn't remember, but she woke up with Maan shaking her, "Mishty uttu! Mishty, ek ghante mei party shuru honewali hai." (Mishty get up! Mishty please get up in an hour, party will start!)
"KYA?? Aapne mujhe pehle kyumn nahi jagaaya!"(What?? Why didn't you wake me up earlier?)
"Tum bahut thaki lag rahi theen! Abb jaldi se tyaar ho jaao!" (You were looking very tired! Now quickly get ready!) Geet got up and got ready.
Three hours later, cake was cut and everyone was eating.
Geet was going towards the kitchen carrying an empty container to refill when Geet heard two ladies talking. One was Sumitra's friend, Mrs. Sharma and the other her daughter-in-law, Kaamini.
"Mummyji, hum apni Babbli ki shaadi iss ghar mai kyun nahi karaate? (Mummy, why don't we get Babbli married in this household?)
"Kiss se karaayen? Maan aur Vicky dono ki shaadi ho chuki hai!" (Whom will we get her married to? Maan and Vicky both are married.)
"Maanti hoon. Magar Mr. Maan Singh Khurana apni patni ko chodh bhi toh sakte hai kyunki unki patni ABB KABHI "MAA"NAHI BANN SAKTI!" (Yes I know. But if Mr. Maan Singh Khurana leaves his wife as SHE CAN'T EVER BECOME A "MOTHER"!)
