Prologue: What is lost is lost, it can never be returned to us. The only option we have is to let it go because the more we hold on to it, the more it will hurt us. Note: I have posted the same prologue in the Kumkum Bhagya forums as I had intended to write on Abhigya first, so I just converted it into Maaneet version. So hopefully there won't be any issue.
