Chapter 10

Its been two weeks Geet is back in the USA but now living in a different suburb and going to a different Law College she has slowly built a shell around herself and became very withdrawn .


Mr Oberoi's sister Tanisha better known as Tamy had come to see Geet in her bedroom and had notified her that her Shamila Bhabhi is in the hospital just two blocks away it seemed at that very moment Geet had found her life her eyes filled with tears of joy and sadness but now she had her Bhabhi also with her she immediately wanted to go to the hospital and Tamy allowed saying she would accompany for the first time as she needs to show her the route , while walking Tamy also asked Geet if she could call her a name that would not bring any suspicion and Geet wondered what could she call her seeing the silence Tamy said you can call me Didi but Geet denied saying Tamy is much elder and was elder to her mother so she would call her Mum if that was okay in a way both were getting a relationship that they did not have .

When Geet reached the hospital her grief also came out in abundance complaining to her Bhabhi that she is now all alone her parents together with Jeet have died in a car accident Geet did not know telling her Bhabhi the bitter truth would it worsen her condition or not but she had always told her Bhabhi every little aspect about herself

One day Tamy had asked Geet if she ever tried massaging her Bhabhi maybe the blood circulation could also help,Geet than researched ways of different therapy and started everyday massaging her Bhabhi . Mr Oberoi finally got a chance to get Simlal , Sweta and Megha out of the Handa Villa

and they too reached Tamy's place with Mr Oberoi , Geet was ecstatic seeing her Nanny and House Steward now Mr Oberoi introduced them by name to Geet and also told Geet the reason they were not called on their names however her parents loved them and trusted them , Geet always knew from all the house staff her parents had a soft corner for Simlal and Sweta now she has decided she will call them Chacha and Chachi they too were very delighted and happy .

Mr Oberoi now introduced her to Megha he also reminded her that she had a registered marriage knowing well at the time Maan and Geet had their marriage registered she was not in logical mind Geet said she respects the marriage as she has learned that her parents too selected Maan for her and now she was aware about the danger that lurked over her head she also knew Maan marrying her was to protect her and she was grateful to him for support but she wants to get Engaged to Maan in front of her Bhabhi and her new family Mr Oberoi knew Geet seeing her Shamila Bhabhi would eventually allow her to come out of her shell and that is exactly what has happened .

Radhika had also flew to USA but was not fortunate enough in finding Geet according to the College Geet left the college and country . Radhika returned to the Caribbean went to Quintin and finally resolved their issues and decided both should go away and spend some time together when they returned after a week of Romance and fulfilling their very own lustful desires they have learned that the Sinam was with the Nurse Maid while the Nanny ran away with Megha and the House Steward had caused some major problem at the mall leading to his arrest , both Quintin and Radhika were not to concerned about them and if the House Steward was in jail than that would be his home but she could not understand why the Nanny ran away with the baby , Radhika ordered all her servants to come into the main hall so that instructions can be given to all if they wanted to work for her otherwise they would be fired .

Both Quintin and Radhika tried very hard to trace Geet but there was no record of her entering USA , Radhika was sure Geet went to USA for studies but according to the records she was a student and left the country almost a year ago not to return but this fact really worried both Radhika and Quintin until a mutual friend of theirs made a suggestion that they hire Private Investigators Radhika and Quintin did not have money to waste and her funds were also running low .

Chapter 11

It was finally the end of the 3rd Academic year , Shamila Bhabhi started showing very little improvement but for Geet it was major she took every development as a positive sign and had also asked the doctors if Megha could visit her mother once or twice per week , with Geet's determination to bring her Bhabhi back was much appreciated by all the the doctors and nurses in charge of Shamila ,

Megha was allowed 1 hour per week over the weekend to be with her mother Geet had explained and always spoke to Megha about her mother so when she saw her mother sleeping she just wanted to jump in her arms ,

Geet had to let Megha near her mother and slowly the machines too started coming to life making a noise that actually scared both Geet and Megha , Doctors had rushed into the room and after about an hour they came out telling Geet its perfect her Bhabhi started responding to Megha cries and the feel of Megha on her mother has stimulated brain activity

Doctors told Geet that they cannot say when but it look good and soon her Bhabhi will be back with her . Geet prayed for the first time after her family's death thanking God for bringing a positive change in her Bhabhi

In India Maan Singh Khurana had taken the position of MD in Khurana Constructions , the Business world was filled with hype and tension knowing that the younger Khurana would now take his Company and placed it on maps for the world to see the new Horizon Technology of Khurana Constructions , they all wanted Geet to be there but both Sweta and Tamy had told them about the progress of Shamila and Geet's timely visits would bring Shamila now out of her Coma .

The Khurana Family decided to pay a visit to they extend family in the USA so that could be with both Geet and Shamila

A week later the Khurana family was in USA and went on to visit at Tamy's place everyone was a bit worried about Geet as how would she react now seeing Maan but surprising everyone Geet had welcomed the Khurana Family with the utmost respect and spoke to all politely she even started bonding with Vicky and Daadima .

Tamy , Sweta and Daadima had asked Geet to take Maan to hospital to see Shamila Bhabhi and it would also give the couple some private time to at least start talking with each other .

Geet told Maan the hospital is two blocks away and she always just takes a walk , Maan too agreed as it would be refreshing to walk a bit so they both headed out both quiet non making an effort to start a conversation yes there are husband and wife but they also strangers ,

Geet after a while of silence uttered "Thank You" confusing Maan as to why she is thanking him she further added "for saving my life for shielding me against Radhika Bhabhi " again silence prevailed as they walked Maan took a deep breath eased himself and said Geet do you know that we are married well I mean , Geet looked at him smiled a full beautiful smile and said Maan at the time when we registered our marriage I was not fully aware but yes I do know we are married , I respect my marriage but I also need to ask you were you forced in any way

and Maan was just staring Geet .

He closed his eyes and opened them looked Geet in her eye and said

"Geet the situation and circumstances were not in our favor I was not forced than and I'm not forced now I respect my marriage too"

Maan than asked Geet if they can get married with proper rituals and Geet told him according to her knowledge what she has learned its that her father wanted she must complete her studies before she and Maan could even get Engaged but she also understands now the situation is different so she would love to get Engaged to him in front of her Shamila Bhabhi but if her Bhabhi does not come out of the coma than only after three years but whichever will come first and Maan happily agreed to it .

Both reached the hospital and Geet kissed her Bhabhi and than introduced Maan to her she wanted to talk further when Maan intervened and came to Shamila Bhabhi kissing her forehead and apologizing for marrying Geet without her approval but he needed to register his marriage so that Geet could take on his surname he further told Shamila Bhabhi they are waiting for her so that they can get Engaged ,

while Maan was talking Shamila's heart beats were rising so was her blood pressure and again the machines went crazy making Geet fear that maybe her Bhabhi disapprove of their alliance and marriage Geet could not think further as Doctors rushed into the room once again and after 3 hours they could stabilze Shamila but outside the ward Geet broke in tears she was so scared that maybe her Bhabhi got worst because of them but when Doctors came out and told them she has no control as she wants to voice her thoughts but cannot so her heart beats rise drastically while her blood pressure too rises Geet was terrified but Doctors calmed her .

Once the doctors left Geet again burst into tears of agony she could not understand what was happening to her Bhabhi , Maan on the other hand did not know how to console Geet so he just grabbed her into his arms and hugged her , Maan felt a sense of solace or was it a boyish fit he did not know as this was the very first time a girl was in his arms he felt good at the same time knowing the girl in his arms is his soulmate while Geet felt protective she had always been either in her mothers arms or her Shamila Bhabhi's arms but she never felt this protected she felt as if she was home in his arms . After an hour Geet felt relaxed and both again entered her Bhabhi's ward Maan had noticed that Shamila Bhabhi's fingers were moving slightly so he gestured to Geet to come and hold her one hand and play with it massage it and he would do the same with the other hand . both were not aware but this was the time that their Bhabhi was fighting to come out of the Coma so her fingers and toes too were moving slightly .

Hours passed but Maan and Geet did not move they kept on playing and massaging their Bhabhi's hand only for both to slowly fall asleep with tiredness while they were sleeping Shamila had opened her eyes after three long years she tried to pull her hands from their hold so that she could play with their hair but as she really tried pulling Maan woke up to the interference in his hand only to be stunned , amazed and shocked all at once he was so happy that finally Shamila Bhabhi has woken up he was happy that finally Megha will get her mothers warmth and love he was happy that finally Geet will have her Bhabhi by her side , he was happy that now he and Geet will get Engaged. In his happiness he also woke Geet telling her that their Bhabhi is out of a coma Geet had thought she is indeed dreaming and wanted to close her eyes again when Maan went up to her and shook her little so she wakes up fully only to see the most beautiful sight before her eyes , Her Shamila Bhabhi has finally awaken her Bhabhi has finally heard just how much she needs her with excitement and great anxiety she hugs her Bhabhi she kisses her all over her face tears seem to flow like a river while Maan headed out to call a doctor and ask a nurse to bring in some juice , once Shamila Bhabhi was given juice her tongue felt much better while her throat still felt croaky , doctors once again asked Maan and Geet to leave the room so they can examine Shamila but this time Geet was stubborn she did not want to leave her Bhabhi she had stayed three long lifeless years without her but Maan convinced her as this would be the last time and Geet accepted .

Indeed Maan's first visit to Shamila Bhabhi has brought immense happiness and joy
