Dadima- maan what was that...if u don't remember her at least u could be polite with her but no...do u even know that she is..but she was cut in between by maan
Maan- geet... I know she is geet... he said her name without any tinge of emotions. ..dadima was shocked..
Dadima- u remember her..then why u..
Maan- she is still the same geet...innocent and all..she will except me to behave with her like before..but I'm not the same maan now...and expectations hurts the most..so its better that she don't except anything from me!
Dadima shook her head on his explanation- maan what has happened to u...how can u be so heartless...learn something from geet..she is the one who lost the most but see she still knows how to live and how to find happiness in small small things..but instead of supporting her u r giving her more pain!
Maan- happiness is not permanent in life..its just the illusion..one day everything will fade away..then u will realize that its only u who have to face this world all alone..no one comes their for ur rescue...all the promises.. everything was fake..
Dadima- maan so much negativity?
Maan- it's the bitter truth dadima...and geet too should realize it..and its better if she start realizing it from now only.. if something like before again happens in her life then she will be strong enough to face the world on her own!
Dadima- maan aap...but their talk was interrupted with a phone call...not caring to finish his lunch maan left the table...

Geet's room...
Maan words have immensely hurted geet..after crying her heart out for few minutes she was finally able to compose herself... his rude words were still echoing in her mind..she looked at the photo frame kept on side table..
Geet(st)- di u where wrong...u always said that in ur absence maan will take care of me but see..in just few years he forget me...for him I don't have any place in his life...aur mei pagal kya kya soch ke baithi..i was so wrong to have exceptions from him...per ab nahi..if he don't remember me then its fine...this thing should not effect me..jitna rona tha ro liye ab aur nahi...he should go in hell!, angrily she said..
After that incident , whole day they didn't came face to face,as maan left for some work...
Next Day
Geet along with other family members except maan and dev were having her breakfast...
Raj- maya where is dev?
Maya- he left for some football practice in morning only..
Raj- from when he developed this love for football?
Maya- kya aap bhi...its better that instead of some bad habit he developed this habit but aapko toh uss mei bhi koi khushi nahi hai...
Raj- oh please...u r blind in ur son's love but I'm not...I know he must be having some other plans...
Dadima- raj! Kabhi toh dev ko support kiya karo...what if he is really gone for some football practice? And by the way why suddenly r u asking about him ?
Raj- today is geet's first day in college..that's why I thought instead of going alone she should go with dev..but he is gayab!
Maya- that's it...i will drop geet to college today...I have some work nearby college..
Raj- oh..that's why..but what about next days?
Geet- uncle..don't worry I can go alone...
Maya- raj don't worry..its only today when dev is not here..kal se hoga and he will take geet along with him...
Raj- I hope so..
College
First day in college..geet was feeling the excited and nervous butterflies in her stomach...she already knew the way to her class so it was easy for her to locate...
As she entered in the classroom she was surprised too see the class already filled with students..she looked at her watch to see whether she was late but to her surprise still 5 minutes were left for class to get started but seeing the presence of so many students before the class brought a positive thought in her mind...
Geet(st)- students here are really punctual...all before the time!
She looked here and there to locate a empty place for herself but every corner was already filled , everyone was busy in interacting with each other as if they already know the other person...after searching a lot she finally found a place empty next to a girl..who was busy in herself..the girl was reading some book and side by side she was munching chips..not caring about her surroundings..geet was bit hesitant to approach her but still she went to her as there was no other empty place...
Geet(clearing her throat)- a..excuse me..
Diverting her attention from her book the girl looked at her..
Girl- yes??
Geet- if u don't mind can I have a seat here..through her eyes she pointed towards the empty side beside her..the girl first looked at her from top to bottom..then she looked around the whole class..there is no other empty place..that's why...
Girl- its okay..u can have a seat here..sweetly she said, seeing her sweet smile geet too reciprocated her with the same gesture..thank you and sat beside her..the girl closed her book and looked at geet..
Girl- what ur name?
Geet- geet and urs?
Girl- nice name..quite different..hii I'm pari!, she forwarded her hand for a handshake..geet shook her hands with her..
Pari- are u new in this city?
Geet- yeah kind of...I used to live here before but then I shifted to my home town..
Pari - oh tabhi..
Geet- tabhi kya?
Pari-i think most of our classmate know each other from their school days but u don't know them and plus u are the first one who came to me...baki sab toh aapne mei hi busy hai..
Geet- that's means too u are not from here?
Pari- correct...anyways tell me more about urself...like this they started their conversation..in between their professor came for the class... which was followed by another class...like this their half of the day passed..finally it was break time..till the time pari and geet developed the friendship bond between themselves, both came out of the classroom together..one was yawning while other was still excited about rest of the day...
Pari(while yawning)- geet..don't u get bored...kitne boring lectures the..in first class only, I'm this bored pata nahi aagaye kya hoga mera..
Geet chuckled a bit- pari tum bhi na...
Pari- don't laugh...I don't understand how can u be so attentive?
Geet- because I like all these subjects..i have interest in them..
Pari- bas bas...come lets have our lunch..i will get energy to pass other classes... with that they moved towards the college canteen..
While a pair of eyes were keenly looking at them...
Girl- which one?
Girl 2- the one in suit salwar!
Girl- seriously??
Girl2- yes...but now what will u do NT..She will snatch ur dev from u!
NT(gave her a furious look)- dev is mine!..do u understand?
Shasha- but..
NT- from my school days I'm was trying to make him my bf..but my dream came true last year only...I love him from my childhood days and now a girl like her can't snatch my dev from me!
Shasha- but their marriage is already fixed u can't do anything..
NT- oh please..i now my dev he will never marry a girl like her..so down market ..
Shasha- but still...
NT- oh please shasha shut up!..don't spoil my mood..dev will himself clear ur doubts come with me!
Dev was sitting with his own gang when he saw geet coming towards the canteen...
Dev- there she comes!
Aman- are u sure she will get scared?
Dev- off course...scaring her is the most easy thing...
Avinash- but I don't understand why u want to scare her?
Dev- simple..today she will get sacred..next day she will stop coming to college due to fear and other day she will demand to go back to her hoshiyarpur!
Aman- hope our ragging works! Why don't u join us in this deed?
Dev- I can't..i don't want to reveal to her that I can't tolerate her or else she might tell this to my family..which will not do any good to me!
Avinash- hmm..we understand u!
Dev- good..now both of u go and rag her! dev ordered them and himself sat on his chair with smirk on his face to witness the drama in front...at the same time NT along was shasha came there of disturb him...NT looked at dev , she followed his gaze and burned in jealously when she saw him looking at geet...
NT- how could u!
Hearing her anger filled voice dev looked at NT..
Dev- what happened?
NT- U cheat..how could u dev..u..for her u...she pointed towards geet and was going to continue further but dev understood her misunderstanding..
Dev- NT keep quite and sit here!
NT- why should i?..u..
But dev pulled her and made her sit beside him...
Dev- ssh..and watch the drama...he pointed in front...still confused with his words she looked in front...
Geet and Pari have just entered inside the canteen when aman and avinash blocked geet's way..both geet and pari were startled for a moment...
Pari- excuse us..holding geet's hand pari tried to go away from there...while geet looked at them..but aman blocked their way again..
Pari- u...but he interrupted pari in between..
Aman- u r excused..u can go..we just need to have a talk with ur friend..he eyed geet..
Pari- what the hell is this... but she was again cut in between but this time it was avinash..
Avinash- we are asking in polite way..we can get harsh too..and I'm sure u don't that..he warned her...pari was again going to say something when geet stopped her..
Geet- pari..its okay...u go..
Pari- but..., but geet whispered something in her ears while both the boys looked at her curiously.. as she completed , pari without saying anything left from there and sat on one of the table...
Geet- what u want to talk with me?
Aman- have some respect we are ur seniors!
Geet- oh..sorry bhaiya..
Aman(shocked)- what bhaiya?? While all other students who were witnessing the scene laughed .. call me sir!..
Geet- oh..okay sir...
Avinash- u r our junior and its ur first day here, right?
Geet- yes...
Aman- by the way where are u from...he eyed her from top to bottom just to make her feel uneasy...geet did feel the uneasiness but still maintained her calm and stood there to answer them...
Geet- this is what u want to ask me?, I'm from Punjab..
Aman- nahi puchna toh bhot tha...he just roamed around herself and held her dupatta in his hand...geet wanted to slap him hard..but respecting his seniority she stopped herself and snatched back her duppata from his hand..
Geet- if ur questions are over..can I leave now?..she took a step forward to go away when avinash stopped her...
Avinash- we are ur seniors ...and we have a demand from u...as u r from Punjab and plus u r wearing the traditional outfit..why don't u show some steps of bhangra?
Geet- u both are ragging me right?, she asked innocently
Aman- u can name it that..smirking at her he said..
Geet- but ragging is banned now!..its against the rules...
At this both laughed
Aman- who follows the rule here..no one!
Geet- but yesterday only principal sir told me that its banned and if any one try to...but she was cut in between
Aman- oh so u will complain about this to principal sir..go girl but remember its not ur school that he will take action against us..its college and to prove any point u need proof, samjhi!
Pari- samjh gaye! And it was pari who stood up from her chair and moved towards them.. but I think...u think we juniors are stupid of fall in ur traps..
Avinash- what do u mean?
Pari(smirking)- this...and she played the video which she recorded on her phone while sitting there...
Both along with other students were shocked to see this...
Aman(angrily)- how could u both...
Pari- u don't want us to show this to principal right?..then stay away from us !
Grabbing geet's hand they both left...leaving behind the shock bunch of students
Dev- plan failed..this geet ....while gritting his teeth
NT- ye geet toh tezz nikali!
Pari and geet sat on a corner table and ordered their food...
Pari- wah geet..u have great brain..at that moment I too would have never thought about the recording and all...I thought u to be a chuimui type girl but u r just great!
Geet- thank u.. I just thought to make use to technology nothing else!
