Hearing his soft voice how can't geet recognize him
With tearful eyes geet looked up but was surprised to see his state, she knew its maan , how can forget the eyes which always pulled her towards him..the invisible connection they share.. she don't know but whatever it is..she can't see him like this..
Geet(choked voice)- maan..but she was interrupted in between by raj and maya who came outside in search of maan..
Both of them were highly disappointed to see maan like this but the helplessness of not able to do anything was also clearly visible on their face..
Maya- maan..what is this..tum..but she stopped seeing geet there.. geet what are u doing here..that too this time?
Geet- woh..mei toh bas...but she was cut in between
Maan- who are u?, maan in his own lost state asked her again..taking 2-3 steps forward he tried to come close to her but his this action scared her and as a reflex she moved 2 steps back..
Seeing geet's this scared, raj decided to take maan..
Raj- maan chalo yaha se..u need rest...he tried to pull him but maan jerked his hand and said..
Maan- dad please I can walk by myself u don't need to give me any support...irritated with him..
Raj- okay..but chalo yaha se..he turned him towards mansion..but maan again titled his head backward and looked in geet's eyes..
Maan- but who is she?
Raj- later maan not now..., with lot of difficulty raj was successful in taking maan inside the mansion..
The pain of him not recognizing her was not that big infront of the pain which she felt seeing him in this condition...his condition raised so many questions in her mind , for answers she looked at maya who herself looked tensed, maya pinched the bridge of her nose to release her tension but as she opened her eyes, the eyes full of questions grabbed her attention..but geet has not learnt to look in the eyes of her elders and question them directly so as soon as she found maya looking at her she diverted her eyes from her's...Maya knew today she has to answer her questions ..she can't leave her to assume wrong things...
Maya- geet let's have a walk...saying this she started moving, with no other option left geet followed her...
Maya- I know after seeing maan like this..lot of questions must have raised in ur brain..u must be thinking what has happened to him..right?
Geet didn't know what to say...seeing her silent..maya assured her- geet u don't have to hesitate...u r part of this family now!...and about maan..he don't this regularly..i mean this alcohol and all.. he must didn't have anything else to do that's why..her this statement confused geet..
Geet- matlab?
Maya(sighing)- u know how maan was from childhood..it was only reet with whom he used to spend most of his time..basically reet was his everything but when she left...everything changed for him too..he missed or should I say he still miss his only friend...
Geet- but it is not only maan who lost di...I too..her voice choked in between but she controlled herself... didn't u all tried to make him come out of this ..i mean...
Maya- we tried geet..tried a lot but who kissi ki nahi sunta.. when we ask him to come and join us , he give the reason of his busy schedule..his dad even tried to reduce his workload so that he can spend time with us but then he started drinking to pass his time..we as parents are just helpless..we can't do anything..
Geet- marry him to someone..may be he will forget di then..
Maya- we can't take that risk geet ..if by forcing too we make him agree to marry someone..then what's the guarantee that he will accept that girl..like this we will destroy that girl's life too..
Geet- lekin aisa kab tak chalega...he is destroying his life like this..
Maya- maybe that is what is written in his density geet...we can't do anything..
Saying this maya left the place leaving behind a wondering geet..
Geet(st)- how can they leave him like this...
Few hours later
It was breakfast time in km...geet was moving towards dinning area when suddenly she collided with a hard figure..
Dev- opps sorry..
There stood dev in his sweaty form ..
Geet was so shy to look at him , all the time her eyes were downcasted only.., dev thought to tease her...grabbing her by waist he pulled her towards him...this shocked geet to the core not even in her daydreams she has expected him to do so.. she was gulled to is sweaty body..but instead of enjoying his closeness she was tensed what if someone see them like this..
Geet- dev ye aap..please leave me..koi dekha ga toh... not daring to look in his eyes she tried to make him understand
Dev(smirked)- u r going to be my wife right?..if by chance anyone sees us like this then also what's the problem.. anyways leave all that...tumhe ek baat kehne hai...coming close to her ear he whispered..u look quite beautiful in this Indian attire..shocked geet finally looked at him ..dev enjoyed her expression, winking at her he left...his this gesture and words heated her cheeks making them red..Shying she left the place..
As she reached the dining table she held the chair to control her racing heartbeats but soon ..all the sweet sensation disappeared from her heart when she heard maan's roar..
Maan- NAKUL!
At the same moment dadima came out of kitchen holding a glass of lime juice in her hand..she passed the glass to nakul..
Dadima- nakul ..maan uth gaye hai..hangover hoga tabhi chilla rahe hai jaaye jaldi..
Nakul left immediately...
Dadima- geet get used to his shouts ..whether there's a reason or not u will hear him shouting once in a while for sure..
Geet- but dadima...
Dadima- he gets irritated soon and rest u now as maya have already told u everything...
Geet- hmm..
Dadima- anyways leave all lot...excited about joining the new college?
Geet- yeah kind of...
At the same time maya along with raj joined there, nakul too came there after giving lime juice to maan...geet waited for him to inform something about maan to someone but neither he said nor anyone asked about maan to him...geet didn't get time to wonder about this as raj started asking her about other things related to her certificates and all..
Soon after finishing the breakfast...raj along with geet left for the college...
College
After completing the admission procedure , raj took geet to meet the principal..
Then after meeting the principal raj and geet came out of his office..
Raj- so geet r u happy to be here?
Geet- ji uncle..till now everything is looking pleasant and even principal sir also seems to be a nice person...i think i...but at the same time raj phone buzzed which interrupted geet in between..
Raj- excuse me geet...excusing himself he left to talk on phone...meanwhile geet entertained herself by looking here and there..unaware about a group who was examining her from a distance...
Soon raj finished his call and came to geet..
Raj- chale geet..
Geet- ji..
Raj- dev yaha hota to I would have asked him to take u on college round but I don't know where he is..
Geet- he must be busy in attending his classes..
Raj(sarcastically)- hai kyu nahi... come let's go now! With that they left the college premises..
As they left the group which was still having their eagle on them , looked at each other.. breaking the silence one said..
Avinash- seriously dude u are going to marry her?
Dev who was sitting in between , made an uninterested face.. I don't have any other option..
Deepti- she is total bhenji..dressed in salwar suit and all...and what's with her hairs tied in braid..total fashion disaster ...eeww..
Aman- leave all that guys...dev u must have talked to her right...how she talks suniye dev ji...aman mimicked in girl's tone..
Deepti- OMG! , all laughed out loud hearing aman..including dev too..
Dev- sacchii guys..i don't understand how will I handle her gawarpanti now...she behaves like she have come from some different era..in morning only...i tried to play with her..and complimented her dressing sense and the dramatic way in which she reacted ..god.! bhagwan hi bache mujhe uss bala se..
Avinash- if u don't like her ...then why this marriage?
Dev- it's a long story... I'm just struck with her!, sighing he said..
Aman- tell ur parents that u don't want a girl like her to be ur wife...
Dev- that's not so easy! I can't say that to my parents nor I can say this to geet directly or she will go and tell my parents..and then the mahabharat will start...
Deepti- that means ultimately one day u have to marry her...
Dev- there's only one way...thinking deeply he said..
Avinash- and what's that?
Dev- if she herself denies to marry me then..
Aman - but why will she do so...knowing about her background she will never disobey her elders..
Dev was in deep thoughts while seeing his face his friends can make out that something evil is cooking inside his brain...
