The Myth

The test of a true myth is that each time u return to it , new insights and interpretations arise.

A saying Or belief Or fact Or superstition Or Myth ... these words play an important part in ppl's life ,, many blindly believe or live their lives on some belief nd myths ,, from d time of d bith of a child to till his/her end some belief never left them ,, those ppl trust a priest who himself a human being nd it's also said that human is a bundle of mistakes ,, then how cn a priest be trusted blindly ? Does a priest's words r more important than an innocent child ? If yes then where is humanity , love , care nd family bonding ? Where r relations nd their warmth ? Where is Truth nd Reality ?

The weather was very pleasant nd it was full moon night with shining stars ,, Maan nd Geet wr back in KM ,, their baby was sleeping peacefully ,, Geet placed him in baby cot nd went to change ,, Maan too went in study ,, Geet had changed nd felt to have a nice brewing coffee ,, she looked at Maan's study ,, peeped in to ask him for coffee ,, Maan was only in jeans nd his towel was around his hand ,, he turned back listening Geet's voice .

Geet startled seeing him like this , fumbled nd return back saying.. sorry .

Maan: G e e t .

But Geet didn't return nd moved out in balcony facing lawn ,, there Maan threw his towel took his shirt to wear nd came out from study ,, looked around for Geet , but didn't find her , then saw moving beads curtain of balcony nd went there...

G e e t .

Geet turned at him nd both lost in each other ,, their eyes met ,, Maan dragged him slowly to her ,, he didn't know why she came in study nd moved out without saying a word ? he stood close to her without breaking d eyelock ,, d soft zephyr nd bright stary night was casting a spell , he was lost in her serene beauty ,, bent nd lifted her in his arms ,, she awaked from a dream nd looked at him confused .

Maan brought her near a swing nd ettled her in that ,, both wr quiet , but their eyes wr pouring out their emotions ,, there was restlessness nd yearing ,, hesitation nd confussion ,, Maan gave a lil move to swing , which brought her in reality .

Maan: Geet , ku rokti ho khud ko kuch bhi kahane se , jo dil mei hei kahati ku nahi .

Geet: hum har kisi se kuch bhi nahi kaha sakty ,, humari kuch seemay(limitations) hoti hei ,, kuch haq hoty hei .

Maan: humara rishta to sabhi seemao ko paar kar chukka hei aur tumhe sabhi haq hein , mujhe kuch bhi kahane ka .

Geet: nahi hei , jis risty ko aapne dil se nahi mana aur thukra diya , wahan haq kahan se aaya ?

Maan held her hands nd made her stand ,, brought her near wall from where d full moon was clearly visible ,, he looked at their hands nd their wedding rings , then looked at her .

Maan : Geet there was a lot of right nd wrong things happened in our relation ,, how we married we knew nd how that turned up in a disaster we saw , but one thing is very clear here that (he gestured at moon nd sky) he d almighty who bind us together kept our relation secure ,, everything went wrong , but he kept our relation safe nd made it more firm nd deep ,, this is d truth of our relation nd this truth gives u all rights on me .

Geet : but that firmness nd dept , that truth nd right cn't bring trust nd love which this relation needed ,, we cn't express our heart when we don't have trust nd love which nourish any relation .

Maan : time'll make u feel that trust nd love ,but u have to open ur heart .

Geet: it's not so easy .

Maan: it's not so hard too .

Geet: I don't know i'll be able to do so .

Maan: i'll wait till my last breath .

Geet: M a a n ...

Maan: yes Geet , i'll wait for that day when u'll trust me nd open ur heart for me .

Geet felt a warmth in her heart ,, she looked deep in his honey brown eyes , which wr brightening with determination nd affection ,, Maan passed a soft smile nd scooped her in his arms again ,, Geet quietly looked at him snacking her arms around his neck .

Maan: let's go in nd have some rest , when Viv'll wake up , he'll make u busy for long ... wiase tumne bataya nahi ki tum kay khane aai thi mujhe ?( he settled her on bed )

Geet : wo ,, mai , coffee ke liye poochne aai thi .

Maan smiled : sure u take rest baby , I m bringing that for us .

Geet: servants r off , mai bana deti hu .

Maan: no ,, let me serve my Sona, nd yes u have to apply some mehndi oo ,, remember mom said ,, I m bringing .

Giving her a heart stealing smile Maan left to bring coffee for them ,, there Geet lost in Maan's words having a long lasting smile on her lips .

Both wr having their coffee nd Maan forced her to apply heena ,, Geet denied , but he held her hands nd made some small flowers nd dots ,, Geet started smiling at his art skill nd made fun of him ,, Maan got Yash , Reema nd DM's call ,, both talked to them nd then went to sleep ,, rest of d family nd relatives reached in KM after mid night ,, all slept straight way ,,next day was wedding day nd full of diff rituals nd works ,, next 2-3 days wr going to be busy for Yash,Reema nd DM nd no doubt Dev's too.

Viv woke up after few hrs ,, Geet cleaned her hands nd fed him ,, Maan came to check them , helped Geet nd played with baby for some time nd then they slept when baby slept ,, this became their daily routine .

It's Dev's marriage day ,, max of d relatives arrived ,, KM was full of guests nd talks ,, some relatives wr meeting after long ,, family members wr busy in welcoming guests nd rituals ,, Geet too was busy with DM nd Reema in Haldi rituals,, she had to do some rituals bcoz she was elder bahu nd Dev's Bhabhi ,, Maan was looking after Viv nd busy after spending some time with guests went to his room ,, he didn't like crowd nd sply when they took Viv again nd again which made lil baby crancky ,, when baby felt hungry ,, he went nd dragged out Geet in room giving her helpless look at eve all started getting ready for marriage ,, when geet got ready , she was looking really a princess ,, Maan felt d somersault in his heart , he was adoring her .

Geet was feeling shy, chewed her lower lip nd gave a nervous smile to him .

Geet: aammm , theek to lag rahi hu na ?

Maan looked at her from top to bottom ,, she choose DM's dress nd made her fit for her , he was in lose of words to praise her beauty ,, came close, cupped her face nd placed his lips on her forehead , where she put a red bindi ,, she gasped , shuddered nd held maan from his waist ,, her body react to his touch diff ,, Maan too felt d shiver in her body nd d pressure of her fingers on his waist .

He looked at her face nd find her eyes close , lips trembling nd breath uneven ,, her response to his touch arosing feelings in him ,, a strong gush to engulf her in his arms ,, he lost in her nd forget everything , there faces came very close ,, slowly caressed his thumb on her cheek nd then her lower lip line ,, Geet's breath stuck in her throat nd looked at him stunned who was lost in her ... M a a n ,,, hhmm , M a a n ,, sona ,, m a a a n n , haan, haan..

He fumbled nd parted with a jerk ,, turned aside prerssing his eyes in guilt nd fear , cursed him for losing his sense ,, he feared what Geet wd feel nd react ,, Geet too was stunned at her action ,,how she lost nd carried away in his proximity ,, Gosh!! What was happening to her ? why she was losing her control ? what was all that ?

There Maan was tongue tight nd stunned at his actions ,, he felt that he was falling for Geet ,, her closeness started affecting him ,, he felt his body tensile nd groaned inwardly ,, it pained him deep that he cdn't even touch her with love ... love !!!
