The Myth

The test of a true myth is that each time u return to it , new insights and interpretations arise.

A saying Or belief Or fact Or superstition Or Myth ... these words play an important part in ppl's life ,, many blindly believe or live their lives on some belief nd myths ,, from d time of d bith of a child to till his/her end some belief never left them ,, those ppl trust a priest who himself a human being nd it's also said that human is a bundle of mistakes ,, then how cn a priest be trusted blindly ? Does a priest's words r more important than an innocent child ? If yes then where is humanity , love , care nd family bonding ? Where r relations nd their warmth ? Where is Truth nd Reality ?

There Maan became a nanny for Sam ,, she became very cranky due to fever nd live alone in home ,, missing her mom a lot who took good care when she fell ill , but here she had to live alone ,, Maan went to college nd got busy in house hold work nd study ,, cos sem exams wr near ,, her study was affecting coz of sickness ,didn't know how she wd clear d this sem ?

Maan was too very tense ,, Sam's sickness , work pressure , reducing bank balance, lacking in study was taking toll ,, this reality of life was going tough to bear after spending life in dale of sweet dreams ,, his prob wr only piling up day after day ,, he nd Sam went to consult d Dr again when her fever didn't cure nd Dr told him for blood test ,, next eve they went again , collect reports nd met with d Dr ,, d Dr became serious after reading d reports nd advised few more tests ,, he gave normal meds for fever , advised take full rest nd good diet ,, Maan nd sam gave d blood sample nd came back home ,, that nyt she talk to her ma and baba nd told them about her fever ,, she hide about Maan nd cover up that her friends wr taking good care of her ,, her parents gave lots of instruction to take care ,, Maan was in balcony nd lost in his thoughts when he heard few voices nd laughing ,, he looked down nd got a shock .... Geet here !!!!

There Geet , Daimaa nd Kabir wr standing at d gate nd talking ,, Kabir was going back after having dinner nd geet nd daimaa came to bid bye ,, all wr talking nd fixing their plan for weekend ,, he was in dark so was not clearly visible but he cd see them ,, Maan was confused seeing Geet there with Kabir nd when he saw Daimaa he got another shock .

Maan recognized her bcoz he saw her many times nd even she talked to him many times nd blessed him ,, his whole body shook nd he step back trembled ,, took support of wall ,, it was unbelievable for him ,, his doubt turned right nd d reality of his life was there in front of him ,, he garnered himself nd sat there on chair bewildered ,, beads of sweat appered on his forehead ,, all of his meeting with Geet in college flashed back in his mind nd made him numb ,, there was only endless thoughts in his mind .

Maan's monologue ...

God!!!! She is d same girl ... Geetika Singh ..Geetika Handa ... Geet , but how she came here ? What happened in KM behind me ? Why she came here nd hiding her identity ,, no ,, no she didn't hide ,, all knew about her that she is married nd prgn ... OMG!!!!!!!!!!! ( he gasped nd his heart sunk ,, he felt that someone took out his life from his body ,, he gulped hard nd took a deep sigh ) Maan she came here behind u ,, ur dad knew everything about u nd deffo he sent her here ,, she too get this truth that I m living here with Sam ,, Dad stopped my money nd sent her here behind me ,, from d day one she was pretending unknown to me but hates me nd Sam ,, hide her real name nd said that she is single nd her husband left her ,, why she said that she is single nd not using Khurana surname ? What she wants to do ? Why she is not talking to me directly ? Why she was watching everything quietly ? why she was not reacting seeing me with Sam ? God!!! She was living in front of me nd having eye on us all d time ,,, Why she is doing all this ? What r her intentions ? Damn ,, his family is supporting her nd sent her here ,, it's she who is sending my news to Dad ,, Don't know what r they planning ? What she wants ? ( he threaded his fingers in his hair nd gave a lil pull , then something hit him)

Maan she is preg ,, she is carrying ur baby Oh God !!! what u had done that nyt ? u rejected her nd came here claiming ur love for Sam ,, She is watching u quietly living with Sam ,,knew ur reality , now how u'll face her ? Everybody in college knew that she is single nd her husband left her , but u nd she know d truth ,, u didn't recognize her nd she kept quiet .. Why ? Now what u'll do Maan ?

Maan felt that someone squeezed his heart ,, he felt suffocated ,, he felt that everything is moving nd he was in d mid of a whirlpool .

Maan came in sense when he felt that someone shaking him calling his name ,, he jerk opened his eyes which wr red nd Sam was there infront of him ,, he gulped hard nd spoke in a creaky voice .

Maan: u , what r u doing here Sam ?

Sam : I was calling u but u didn't listen so came out nd find u sleeping , come in nd sleep .

Thinking something he held her hand nd brought her in nd closed d balcony door in hurry ,, Sam was looking at him confused , He was very restless nd tensed .

Sam: what happened , why r u tenses ?

Maan: sleep , its too late ,, I m also very sleepy .

He laydown on bed switching off d light turned his back nd closed his eyes , but d sleep was far - far away from his eyes ,, it was only Geet nd her confrontations with him flashing in his mind ,, remembering of her hateful words nd looks giving shivers nd he was losing his strength .

Sam gave a confused look to him nd sleep unaware about d storm which hit d door of their la-la -land .

It's said ... apni hi kerni ka phal hei nekiyan , ruswaiyan .. aapke peeche chalengi aapki parchaiyan .

It's our thinkings , deeds(Karmas) nd of course destiny which leads us , not any Gun nd doshas ,, ppl said that some priests made nd read very well Kundlies , if yes, then why didn't they have d power to change d bad things in to good ? They cn't because they r normal human being not any holy nd spiritual power ,, they wr doing their work learning from books nd those books r also written by human beings not by any God ,, but d Karmas (deeds) of any ppl deffo affect their lives ,, ppl who think only about their greed nd benefits took d wrong ways to make them happy ,, they became self oriented nd forget about others nd aftereffects ,, only time will teach them that what they had done ?

Maan didn't know when sleep engulfed him lost in his endless thoughts , but his sleep broke with d buzzing of d alarm of his phone ,, he knew it was mrng but he didn't want to open his eyes ,, he cursed why this morng comes to put him in guilt nd forced him to face Geet .

He cdn't skip d college nd left d place in that complicated condition ,, he had to face nd bear d reality alone ,, he cdn't even share this with Sam nd was not able to talk to Geet.

Sem exams wr near nd they had to give their presentation ,, Sam was feeling weak but she had to attend d college for presentation ,, Maan helped her in her study bcoz she was lacking ,, Maan was very restless nd maintaining d lil distance while walking out ,, he looked at Geet's home thievishly nd took a sigh of relief when find d road empty ,, he made his hand free from Sam if she held that nd trying to maintain a distance ,, Sam was confused on his weird behaviour , but she shrugged off thinking that he did that many times ,, they reached near d entrance when a car stopped at d gate nd Geet came out with a smile ,, she bade bye to Kabir nd he left ,, her eyes fell on Maan nd Sam ,, Maan nd Sam too looked at her but Maan face lost its color ,, today his eyes nd face dropped with shame ,, he didn't have courage to face Geet.

Sam: what a lucky girl , her husband left her but her relatives nd family taking care of her in this condition , nd here we cn't share our prob with our families .

Maan felt a blow ,, it was so insulting for him ,, his wife , who was preg nd roaming with high head I front of him accepting this fact that her husband left her nd his GF was praising her luck ,, he wanted to run away from there , but alas he cdn't .
