Chapter 2

As soon as Geet reached her house, she was stopped stunned, to see an big crowd, "Geet Beta" Geet's dad smiled big, his happiness was screaming in his eyes, "Papa, what is this, who are they and why is everyone in our house" Geet asked confused, "Geet, I will tell you everything later, first go and get ready and come down, Rachi go with your sister and get her ready up," her dad said, "Papa, but" Geet started, "Please dear, go" he said and Geet nodded and went in,

"Geet di, who are they" Rachi asked, "who knows, I am so scared, I am not liking this, Baba ji" Geet said and slowly got ready so as Rachi and came down, and Geet's dad smiled and went near her and walked her up, and Geet was looking down and suddenly he stopped her in the middle of the awaiting crowd, "This is my daughter, Geet," he said and Geet heard some murmuring, "Geet, look dear, it's Pammi Ji," he said and then Geet looked up to see an elderly lady smiling big and she joined hands to welcome them,

"And that's her daughter, Naina" he introduced and then Geet welcomed her too, "and that's Dev, Dev Singh Rathore" Geet's dad said and Geet looked up and her eyes fall on the smart tall guy who was looking at her shyly, Geet welcomed him too looking down and he too did the same, "Oh Sorry, I didn't inform my Geet about this, so she was a bit shocked and tensed, normally she talks much" Geet's dad said and Geet looked down still not liking the feel of everyone around her,

Everyone smiled and felt happy but Dev who was watching Geet found her tears silently building up, "Maa, let's go now, will talk the rest tomorrow" Dev said trying to leave Geet alone, "Dev, wait dear, let's ask Geet whether she likes you, this arrangement" Dev's mom said and Dev looked at Geet, who was crushing her Dupatta in her hands, "Maa, give her some time to think, it must be so fast for her, so, anyways we will be here only na," Dev said, and Dev's mom nodded,

Dev smiled and nodded and walked away, Geet's heart felt happy and good to see someone not stressing up, Dev walked with a smile looking at Geet with his corner of his eyes and Geet blushed up with his look, and looked down, and as everyone went up, leaving Geet, Rachi and their dad alone, Geet rushed and closed the door, and came in, "What was that Papa, Marriage proposal, and you didn't even think it was necessary ask to me, didn't even think, how I will feel about it, all of a sudden" Geet jumped up as her tears rolled down,

"Wow, my favourite pastry, I love it but, but I can't eat it now" she said and Maan gave her an question look, "Oh, I am on diet" she said, "since when" Maan asked and she jumped up and held Maan's arms, "Since I joined the beauty contest," she said and Maan looked at her puzzled, "seriously" he asked, "Maan, yes, it's big, it's by lakme, if I won this, then I will be an star" she said and Maan nodded his head, "still an kid" he thought, "Maan, but will I win, am I beautiful" she asked and Maan nodded an yes,

"Sam" her Dada ji came in with an cover, "courier for you" he said and gave her the cover and she got it and opened it and her eyes widen up and her lips spread up with an big smile, "Maan, I cleared the preliminary round, Oh My God" she screamed up and hugged Maan up, "Dada ji, I won, Oh Wish I win the title too, oh God, Maan I will call all my friends now, oh God" she said and rushed in, "Maan, look at her, Beauty contest, roaming with friends, shopping, when is she going to be serious, what about her future" Dada ji said,

"Let her be, she is young and she is enjoying and about her future, don't worry, I will take care of that, let her enjoy now, don't restrict her" Maan said and Dada ji nodded an ok, "Ok Dada ji, time for me to go, and I will come when I am free and please do take care and if you need anything please call me," Maan said and he nodded an ok and went away, "Maan," Sameera screamed through the window, and Maan waved an Bye, "Bye, Love you Maan" she screamed and Maan nodded up and walked away,
