Chapter 42
How I absolutely love and admire Tara''s tenacity! She can actually find a sort of dark humour in the situation she faced!

She escaped Suraj quite hilariously and then she caught in the passing bus... Freaking amazing!!

So the carefree and fun loving Tara was changed into her present avataar due to the constant unpleasant interactions with Suraj and Brij.

She had no option other than running away. The mystery man following her... Is he one of the bad guys or someone working for Dev??

She really loves Dev although she steers clear of the very emotion. She has seen the dcomplexities of love in her mother and father; obsession in Suraj.

But this death-defying situation made her reanalyse. She is desparate to be in his arms... in her haven. Like a one last day.

The lyrics are beautiful...Nothing could be more wonderful in describing her feelings for Dev.

Chapter 43
What a heart racing thriller!

Dev is elated with Tara's initiative but he finds something amiss... It is her final goodbye to him!

Geet missing make them push away the issue at hand and these two rush to find their bambi.

Brij... He is creepy! The evil incarnate is obsessed with the pure beauty of Geet. I had a gut wrenching fear when he was about to kidnap her.

Thank God for Kabir's timely intervention. He beat Brij and rescued Geet. He valiently faught for her. The poor girl fainted in fright.

Dev was about to trash Kabir thinking him to be the culprit. But as things clarified, a new facet of the kind hearted Dev emerged.

Kabir denies to take anything from Dev in exchange for saving Dev. He is poor but principled. I love his character growth. He reminsces his mother's sufferings and is determined to punish the culprit. He values Geet as a friend/angel in his and his mother's life. He has turned into a gem of a person.

Tara decides to leave Dev and Geet to keep them out of harm's way. Her love for Geet is infectious. Good that Dev heard everything...her past and her plans!!

Chapter 44
Dev is furious at Tara for trying to leave. He puts on a calm demeanour and first gets Geet to leave for college. Dev is a man of action and his protectiveness for Geet is endearing.

Dev and Tara indulge in some intimacy. For Tara it was a token of goodbye. Her defences crumble enough to accept the mutual attraction but she resolutely detests love and the subsequent miseries.

Dev understands her perspective but refuses to back down. She tells him that his flare would fade within a month and he, in his very own wicked way, convinces her to give them a chance to try out for a month. The move simply defined Dev- his outer cool and composed facade, his undying love and his clever diplomacy.

She is adamant that she would be no good when it comes to relationships. But still cannot help herself from indulfing into the guilty pleasure... For stealing one chance from life.

Dev's wishes were again amazing. As you said, he simply tied her to him from morning to night.

Cannot wait to see how this chalks out!!

Chapter 45

Wow!! Maan has made so much progress! Kaha toh nazare milana mushkil tha aur ab he simply drags her out for the impromptu luncheon.

These two spell magic together. Simple things like sharing lunch or holding hands transforms into something so beautiful, so fragile yet tangible that it makes your heart leap for them. It is as if the reader is transported in their world, walking alongside the protagonist, experiencing the feelings first hand..

She trusta him unwaveringly. He loves and respects her unconditionally.

Munda is a complete buddhu!! Jo baat kehni thi uske alawa sab keh diya. He has made so many plans for the farewell; does he realise that he is jinxing himself.

Thee is no time better than the present...

Chapter 46
I am beginning to enjoy this sarcastic Kabir. Dande padne se toh back gaye aap par pyaar ke pange toh kar baithe. For a second, I thought that it was Maan who saw him and now the two men would pound each other but I was wrong... Just the watchman!

Maan... The depth of his feelings amaze me, enchant me every single time.. The munda is such a die hard romantic!! His desire to stay close to his beloved's heart was so innocent and yet passionate at the same time!

Fates conspire and they witness the birth of two little miracles. Maan is amazed at her inner strenth and she is assured by his presence.

The 'hamare bacche' bit was really cute!! Get blabbers to glory in her innocence and Maan.simply loses himself!

The auto ride was wonderful. Chalu Maan babu, aajvtoh confess kar bhi do . Mauka bhi hai, dastoor bhi, baarish bhi, chandni raat bhi!

Chapter 47

The last chapter of the past!! Such a bittersweet feeling... Will it be a goodbye to the sweetest, cutest Munda and bring the onslaught of the Khotta Maan!

Awiee!! Geet's Maan thud is aweworthy!! Delhi ki dhak dhak is now copyrighted by her as Maan thud! Bravo, dear!!
Bechari kudi is wondering on her survival without him for a few months; not even having the slightest clue about the impending wait of 2 years! Sigh!
She is so endearing. She actually asked him that whether he fears as well! Munda is so mesmerised by you dear girl that he would walk on burning coals without flinching.
She is starting to feel her desires for him!

Maan ko bhi babaji se baat karne ki aadat lag gayi! Ab jaisi bhi hai, aapki hai, bhugto!! 😉

I really admire his feelings for her. He likes her the way she is, not imposing anything upon her. And the line
"She'll be mine forever, if she'll have me"... Simply won over my heart. He respects her to offer her a freedom of choice!

He compares her to the moon...

"Uss chand mei toh daag hai, mera chaand toh bedaag hai!"

Chalo he fulfilled his first dream of dancing with her on Raatkali. And Geet is a revelation! Thinking of Adam and Eve... If Munda knows what goes through that mind of hers; he had faint with joy and shock!!

Glad that they exchanged the locket and taveez! Oh! Geet's birthday... what a dream come true! Kash he had confessed!

And then he kissed her! Hayyee!!

Lets see what the future brings for the young lovers!!

Chapter 48
The two innocent hearts took the flight of desires together exploring each other in that magical kiss! Her senses were awakened and he discovvered his blessing! The moment that froze in the sands of time!

Maan christened her Mishti... I've always felt the name Mishti is the embodiment of Maan's love for Geet... his reverence to her, his love for her, his desires for her... His innocent plea of not getting separated from her was so touching!

And thereafter the things went downhill!! The inopportune entry of Ms. Iyer (Can't even begrudge her for her genuine care for Geet) to the blocking of roads of Hoshiyarpur... They faced there share of troubles.

Alas! The final goodbye could not take place. Geet understands his unspoken words and departure to London! She waits for him with an eternal hope... Feeling his touch in the wanton raindrops and smiling through life's obstacles!

The song interpersed with her feelings, her agony was beautiful. The lyrics simply tug your heart!!

Aaoge jab tum o Sajnaa!!!

Chapter 49
I was waiting for Dev-Tara ever since hhe laid out his conditions to see how would it pan out! And boy! the wait was completely worth it!
The skype chat was so good! We discovered a laid back Tara who hates mornings and Dev was upto his charming best. He openly invites her to drool over himself! And she is baffled at his shamelessness!
She tries to get even with the horrendous combination but relents at hiscuteness!

The luncheon with Dev's flare for dramitics went smoothly with their discussions.
And the dinner was amazing. Dev is such a genuinely good guy. Geet has a protective brother for her now. And with a good friend in Kabir, lets see how Munda and his possessiveness fare!!

And Tara enjoys it. Dev christening her Galaxy!!- Wow!

One day made Tara realise how it feels to be cherished!!

Chapter 50

Maan ke Mann ki lagan!! The beauty of alliteration!

The chapter sent my heart soaring with joy... A heartfelt delirious joy!!

Maan underwent a myraid of emotions in this chapter featuring varied timeline!

He visualises her in the beauty of colourful roses, in the orange shroud of sky! He is finding it difficult to pen down his feelings.

Woh kehta hai usse shabd nahi bunne aate par jab koi khwab bunta hai toh alfaz khud hi roop le lete hai!!

The letter is sheer poetry! And the voice modulation and enactment of Maan adds on to the beauty ... It sends tingles down my spine.

Thee letter had me speechless!

He managed to slip the letter in her purse and she lost the same purse! What a collossal tragedy!

I can now understand his heartbreak and I offer a genuine apology to my Munda for calling him a khotta and judging him without his side of tale being unfurled!

2 years have passed and he never lived a truly happy moment without her. He is bereft of his soul without her .

Sameera and David... another beautifully crafted tale. I love the depth of your characters. Especially making David of a mixed lineage!

Maan misses her.. in the rains, in the chills, in the roses, in the sunshine!

Geet usme sama chuki hai... And there would never be another person for either of them!

And we travel from utter desolation to a budding hope! One small revelation of Adi provided happiness to Maan. His heart which had never stopped hoping is provided a new lease! And now he is desparate to return!

And the present awaits!!

Lets enter a new phase of love, oh beloved!!

Chapter 51
OMG!! Dadima is such a cool cat! She exactly knows when to push and when to hold back... And Dev tried to hide things from supercool dadi- from whom he seems to have inherited his very genes of coolness, calmness, charm and intellegence!

And there's more! Seems like she has already set the stage for Maan's love!! Woah!! What a genius!!

And Dev and Tara are to spend some days alone!!

Kabir and Megha- what a poignant and heartbreaking tale.

First of all, the eloquence of your words made me feel that I was watching the scene unfurling right before my eyes, with your perceived actors by the riverside.

Kabir cannot bear to see her in sadness. He laments the loss of the very bubbliness he resented. The tides of time!

Megha (I always found the actress really pretty in those cotton sarees) makes a forlorn image of sadness. Her grief at being abandoned was palpable. Both Kabir and Megha have known love, loss, abandonment, loneliness deeply and are kindred souls.

And finally Megha decides to confess. Her love story paved out of illusions for a happy family to the one sided love for a boy unaware of her existence... heartbbreaking! And when she met her hero, he kept on rejecting and pushing her away.

She feels unworthy of love and he feels unworthy of her. But he would not allow her to suffer furthur. He confessed his love and his insecurities. And now, they are free to form a family of their own!
