"Priya please yaar hurry up!... i really need food now, i am dam hungry!" I yelled at my cousin, who was busy in selecting frock suit to wear on my brother's wedding. I ignored me and mumbled "i like green but i want to wear pink." mumbled priya. "green is such a gorgeous one but no i have already brought pink jewelry so i want pink". I got annoyed with her continuous self talk. I need to got some food in my stomach or i will die! with these thoughts i got up and made my way to priya. I pulled both the frock suits from her hands and went to shopkeeper. "Geet what are doing? i have not selected yet." priya yelled. I ignored her and gave pink frock suit to pack and return the green one.
She murmured curse words but my one angry gaze was enough to make her shut up. I smirked and paid for our no no her dresses. "god my own brother was getting married and here i did not have any time to shop for myself"i signed and went to pick our bags. "I will come tomorrow alone for my shopping." i though. I grabbed priya's hand and rushed to the adjacent restaurant to ate something. I had already made the list of food I was going to order. My mouth watered at the sight of delicious food. just wait for me baby! i am gonna eat you raw. I mentally made the promise to the delicious food. I went straight to the empty seat at the corner of restaurant. My eye contact with my delicious food got broke abruptly when someone shout my name. "hey geet" someone shrieked.
I got angry and looked helplessly at my food. you needed to wait baby everyone is hell bent on coming between us. I turned swiftly to shout at person who disturbed me. I was roaming shop to shop from morning without having my breakfast and now it was going to be 2pm. Before i could shout, the girl glomped me and shrieked again "geettt...". I rolled my eyes as i recognized the person, who was hell bend on choking me. " dam Ria can't you loss some wait you have literally kill me" i yelled at Ria, my friend. She was not even my friend. She was classmate. yes, classmate that the exact word. I took deep breath to calm myself.
"geett... we are meeting each other after such a long time. can't you meet your friend like a normal people." She yelled again in her shrieking voice. I rolled my eyes at her comment. yaa we were friends if that's what you call to classmate who used to sat behind you in exams because of roll number system in school. By the way we were good friends when in comes to exams. We always had each others back in examination hall. My thought process broke with her another annoying shrink. Did i told you she shriek a lot? if not then here you go. She really shrieked a lot. But that not even her fault. firstly she had piercing voice and secondly i was annoying her.
"yes Ria " i said calmly. I placed the shopping bags on floor near chair. She gave furious look. I signed and hugged her. She turned the hug with smile. " Now good?" i asked. I was really not in mood to wait more so i wave at waiter and gave my order of food. I returned my attention to Ria while priya gave her order. " i want you to meet someone" said Ria and pulled me to another table where she must be sitting before i and priya entered. I nodded and signal priya to wait here. I was sure i will returned quickly after saying hi and hello.
Ria took me to her table, two boys were sitting there with their back facing us. "Geet this is my fiance". Ria directly to a good looking man. He was having good high and complexion with one look i was sure that he and Ria will look good together. "Rohan is my friend geet. we both studied in same school." Ria introduced me to her fiance Rohan. Rohan, i did not like this name it was too much boyish for a man. anyways it was not me who was going marry him so leave it. One thing i was so sure in my life i will not marry a man with boyish type of name, hell for me these type of names ruined the manliness in them. Rohan name was good when you were referring to cute looking small boy playing with boll but this name seriously not meant for well build man. geet you were not the one getting married to him so stop your criticizing jaap. i mentally smashed myself and shake his hand with small hello.
"geet this is Maan, Rohan's cousin" said Ria. He was as good looking as his cousin brother, but do add the plus point. This man had manly name, good , i like it. I accepted his hand for hand shake. Now as all the introduction was done I wanted to go back to my table too have some food before i collapsed here itself. Ria pinched me to get my attention. I gazed at her angrily with fake small smile on my face. We both did not want the these handsome men to suspect us. We both knew we were acting like children but thats how used to got answers from each other in examination hall. Ok. now no more discussion on how we used to do cheating in school days. I knew every dam person did the cheating thing in exams. I believe its universal concept of development in us human beings. You must have read the phase "friend in need is friend in deed" and this phase we experience in school life specially in examination hall.
Ria pulled me and made me sit with them. "geet must have known Maan. He studied in our school." said Ria with smile. I smile and then look at maan. He was looking directly at me. I diverted my gaze and told Ria " i think i did not remember... he studied with us?" Ria shake her head and said " no no he was our senior...he was in 12th when we were in 10th" "oh.." i said with smile. she thought that i will remember my senior after so many years this girl was gone case i always knew it. "you seriously do not remember?" asked Ria like she was in shock. I shook my head in no. what was so important to remember i mentally shrugged my shoulder.
"geet... he is the same boy who helped you in 10th exams." said Ria and i so much wanted to shout at this stupid girl. She was clamming openly that i did small cheating in my 10th exams. small cheating because parents put so much pressure that you were not going to exam hall but to some war. I remembered clearly how i studied day and night for my 10th exam but still under pressure i tend to forgot some things and i really tried to attempt it fully.
I gazed at Ria furiously and shout "i got 83% marks in 10th more then you." She rolled eyes and said " He is the same boy who helped you in Science Exam, remember you forget some 1 marks questions ?" She was having teasing smirk on her face. I gave her confused look. what was there to tease and smirk with this thought bomb blast on me.
Her words kept on repeating in my mind Same boy who helped you in Science Exam.. Same boy who helped you in Science Exam.. Same boy who helped you in Science Exam.. NO WAY i shout in my mind. This could not happened to me. This was like Blast from the PAST.
I was sure my face was reflecting horror look. I looked at the persons sitting before me. Rohan had confused look while Ria and Maan were having smirk planted on their faces. I so much wanted to smashed Ria's face and removed that devil smirk from Maan's face. One side i wanted to ran from here and never meet these people in my life again and on other side i wanted to laugh remembering the questions i had asked him.
Question 1 - Hormone responsible for the changes in girls and boys at the time of puberty? What type of changes occur in them?
Question 2 - Name the gland which add their secretion to the sperm? name the path through which sperms are deliver after formation?
Question 3 - What is the reason for menstruation cycle to occur?and why does does bleeding occur in girls during menstruation cycle?
God i did not understand why they had put these type of embarrassing questions in exams. Moreover what was need to add these type of lessons in Science. Its not like we would had understand these concepts at that age. May be geet you were the only innocent child. NO i was sure there must had been more innocent souls like me. At least i can gave you guarantee all girls were innocent souls!
Problem occurred when some one like me was not willing to leave any question unattempted and end up asking them. I remembered on our science exam they had changed our sitting plan. Mostly we were used to sat alone in one classroom but that day there were many exam going on. So. they made two classes to sat together. I was sitting on my seat. We were discussing the types of asexual reproduction in plants when a tall boy came and pointed that i was sitting on his seat. I gazed at him and moved to the left side of bench. technically we were sharing the same bench. First Bell ringed, teachers started to distribute answer sheets. On second bell they gave us question paper.
I read the questions once and started to wrote the answer in answer sheet. Almost all the answers were known to except three small answer type question. I left the space for them to do latter and concentrate on other. After i was done with the answers i checked the time only 15 minutes were left. I glanced here and there to check anyone available to help me. Ria was looking busy so looked for other option. Beside me i heard the sound of click. I turned and found the lean and tall boy who was sitting with me, putting his sheet and pen on our front table indicating he had already completed his paper.
I glanced at my question paper and marked the three questions with my pencil. I poked his arm with the back of my pencil. He looked at me once and then turned again to check his answer sheet. I was angry at his ignorant behavior so poked him again but this time with sharp nip of my pencil. He instantly rubbed the spot and shot angry look at me. I ignored his angry look and pointed with my eyes to look at my question paper. He looked at them for a min and then turned his face back to his answer sheet. I glanced at the teacher and found him busy with some paper work. I hurriedly whispered " i do not know the answer of these questions please help me". He gave look to questions then me and then turned again.
My face turned red with anger. He was wasting my time and i didn't had another option. So, i used another weapon and whispered " if you do not know you can tell me. May be you used cheat sheets in exams to get passed." I ignored his angry gaze and whispered "if not then prove it answer these questions". " i can't answer then" he mumbled and turned his face. "say directly that you do not know answers ok! there is not need to pretend or make excuse" i mumbled slowly while my eyes were on teacher.
"I am not going to answer them ask some girl" he said and continued " and this question the third one, you must be knowing it, write it yourself." I gazed at him and asked "if i know it then why would i ask you?" "ok leave this question answer the other two!" i exclaimed and opened the page where i had left the space for these questions. I gave him pencil to wrote the answer on question paper itself. His cheeks turned red as he glanced at the other question. He opened his mouth to said something which i was sure was no. He looked at my angry face. I checked my watch only 9 min were left. I told him to hurry up as only 9 min were left. He shook his head and mumbled something and stated to wrote the answers on my question paper. I filled the same answers on my answer sheet. He erased them once i was done coping it.
When this incident happened he was blushing with embarrassment and now after so many years i was at his place. I was sure my face was red. I could feel the hotness of my cheeks. I glanced at him, the lean and tall boy had now turned into a well built man. Devilish smirk on his lips made him look hot. I stretched my lips into a big fake smile. "Sorry, i do not remember its been so many years!" i exclaimed.
Both Ria and this Maan guy were looking at me with confused faces. Before they could respond, priya came and after formal introduction we both moved to our table.
Waiter placed our orders in front of us and asked us if we would something else. We shook our head in No. We had been here for almost an hour and had worked up quite an appetite, so we dig into our food. After i was done i got up and went to washroom to fresh up. I was coming to my table when someone put his arm around my stomach and pulled me into his chest. My body was shaking and i feel like my heart was literally going to pop.
"so you do not remember me ha! should i tell the embarrassing questions you have asked me?" he whispered in my ear. I signed and mentally rolled my eyes. One side i wanted to slap him for scaring me and on other side i wanted to laugh at his ways. I smirked and said " don't you think you are watching to many serials." "Huh!" he exclaimed. I jabbed my elbow in his stomach and at the same time pushed his away. "because thats the way girls react in reality" I said with smirk.
He grabbed my hand before i could go back and exclaimed " be my girlfriend". I shook my head in No. "Why?" he asked with sad look. I moved near him and whispered in his ear" Because i do not like Blast from the PAST." His expression was priceless. I giggled at his shocked and worried expression. I winked at him and went back to my table where priya was waiting for me. I paid for our food and we went home.
